The LEGO Store Chinook Ctr

We had such an amazing visit yesterday. There is a great selection. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Keegan and Vanessa especially made our trip special and provided a lot of great advice for us. We look forward to returning again soon!

They use “building your dream car”to attract kids. But once you done, they would say you could not buy it and it was just for displaying. They are very good at “doing business”. Be cautious, parents. Strongly recommend directly order the pieces on official website. Actually, they are short for many important parts to build your dream cars.

Waited in line for an hour today to get the new Nissan Skyline set. I was the 10th person in line and you could see the employees inside watching as the line grew to over 30 people. About 15 minutes before opening an employee came out to take down what everyone in line was getting. One minute before opening, another employee came out to tell the people in line that they only received 6 sets and that everyone else was out of luck. The night before I had called the store to make sure they would have them before making the 40 minute trek to chinook center and the girl on the phone refused to say how many they were getting in but that we should be ok if we came for 10 o'clock. The problem isnt that they only received 6 sets. It's that they clearly knew what everyone was lining up for and were perfectly fine with wasting the time of 30+ customers.

First time at the Chinook store and 10/10 the entire team was so welcoming and friendly. Walking into a Lego store with two little kids can be intimidating but they made it very family friendly and fun. My little boy loves Spider-Man and it was very nice to see the team bringing over sets to show him and allowing him to make a decision when it came to his first official lego purchase. Thanks and will defiantly be coming back, good luck with the holidays!

The staff here is always incredible! Shout out to all of them!
The selection is usually fantastic. Occasionally there will be popular sets that sell out quickly but you can check their inventory online before you go.
And again shout out to the staff here for always being amazing!

Everyone was super helpful, nice and surprisingly patient.

Even though we waited in line for about 30 minutes, it was worth it.

Pretty good layout you can pretty much see everything there through the window. The only thing I see as a down side is that it is small and almost always crowded

Janessy & Ryan were a huge help. We got treated really well as soon as we walked in. Ryan even offered to help us with our bags out to the car. Overall, it was a great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Awesome selection and an incredibly friendly team. Beware of bringing your kids in here because they'll pester you like crazy to buy something.

The space is reasonably spacious and doesn't feel as claustrophobic as most toy stores. They have a limit of guests allowed in at a time but they don't rush you or make you feel bad if you're taking your time enjoying the space. Go on. Go buy yourself some Lego. You know you want to.

I bought a few sets, Janessy and Ryan were a huge help! Ryan even offered to help me bring the bags to the car.

I love lego, but i rather buy it somewhere else. I went down the hall to discovery hut, they Have lego too. And my boys picked a big box lego Technik semi tow truck. Experience at discovery hut was excellent.

A fun and brightly coloured store. Really great selections and staff was very helpful. There was a line up today but that's ok, fire codes are being followed for people's safety. If there is a line don't worry if you know what you want a helpful employee is happy to have what you want placed behind the counter so you can get in and out quickly. The organization is appreciated. Thanks!

The most incredible customer service.
I wished I could remember the name of the man that helped me. The store didn't have the product and he put a lot of effort to help me with this. Super polite. I honestly wasn't expecting! LEGO experience and brand got even more respect!

Went to buy a gift card but had to wait to get in as they still have restrictions on the amount of people they let into the store. Will not be back to this location

Very cool spot. Very friendly staff. Can find little kits for kids around 12-25 dollars. You can find incredible items here for big money $200 to $2000!

You can also buy Lego by the piece here. Very cool if you need a certain piece.

Staff behaved in rude and artificial way when dealing with customers. Customers are also greeted only so that positive feedback from LEGO HQ will improve their commission or standing.
My family visited the store just 2mins after it was closed. The working crew was present and yet ignored us. Utter disappointment.

Never a bad time. Courteous, professional staff. Always extremely engaging and couldn’t be more pleasant to deal with.

Really friendly staff. Maybe too friendly: we were asked if we needed help about 5 times in 20 minutes. Still, we got everything that we needed.

Note: pick-a-brick was closed down, at least in the short term.

Went in on Saturday March 19 2022 and waited in line for 1 hour.
Once I got to front the aging Lego nerd asked if I was going to buy something or just look.
I said I'm not sure. He told me I couldn't go in the store because at this time they are only allowing paying customers in.
This was horrible.
I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he was the manager.
I doubt he was.
This is why I will buy Lego online now

I have shopped at this store for years and the staff have always been knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and just overall amazing! Will continue to shop here for many years to come!

Amazing staff and selection, staff would come and talk to you in line asking questions and to conversations, very nice and professional.

Honestly, this location is pretty great. Their team is incredibly nice and helpful. Not only that, but if they are out of something, they will give you an estimate as to when they'll get it again.

The Chinook Lego Store is our favorite store in Calgary. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I trust their recommendations. They made my gift selection simple.

The staff at this Lego shop are always friendly. But I wish there were more kinds of Legos on display. For example, Minecraft, Ninjago~ Every time I go there, my children don't have the toys they want. Eventually I bought it online

Awesome lego collection for all the ages, you can also get custom legos of various colors and shapes for a custom build

Good store, the staff show a real passion for the product. They also get as excited as the customer do about there Purchaes.

The store uses MSRP and has sales but no shipping.
Lego's Amazon store uses demand based pricing and has shipping.

This might be the only company to make it worse to buy online.

Very well managed location. Shopped at this location several times over the years and have always experienced excellent customer service.

The Lego store is a joy for adults and children alike. Team members here adapted seamlessly to our needs and we had so much fun!

With COVID-19 policies in place, we had to wait in a short line up to get inside, only about 10 minutes. It was impressive how quickly they were moving people through while maintaining a personal experience and not rushing.

Huge stock here, and we were pleasantly surprised to see a number of sets on sale. I can’t wait to come back and keep building my city.

The staff are great and very helpful. There's nothing here you couldn't find on Amazon. There's usually a wait to get in because of covid precautions only allowing six customers in at a time.

I'm really impressed with the Lego store in Chinook for a lot of reasons. First, the staff are excellent. They're all clearly understanding of and respectful of LEGO fans.

Second, the store layout is just perfect. As a retail space the displays are always worth looking at and everything is easily accessible to people who are probably seven years and up.

Third, I imagine they took a financial hit for COVID-19 safety practices, but clearly they have the safety of the community as their number one priority, since they were willing to shut down just before Christmas because of a possible exposure. They didn't hide from it, they didn't try to pretend it didn't happen, they acted very cautiously and made sure that the rest of us were taken care of and safe.

This is a great store to visit and I highly recommend it to anyone who has even a passing interest in LEGO. It's a way better experience than you'll get from shopping at a big box store.

Staff were friendly and knowledgable, however wasn't happy that they were not using the text to line up and making people stand in a long lineup instead.

I mean. It's the Lego store. How could you say something bad about this place? Harry Potter, Star Wars, trains, fast cars. It's literally everything that's is awesome in one store. Side note. Staff are always awesome as well.

As always, welcomed with a grin by the staff and eagerness to help. Talked through all the new sets that came out and informed of what upcoming rewards were on the way. Chinese New Year!

What can I say about the Lego store. Disney world the happiest place on earth. No! It's the Lego store. From star wars to marvel, for girls and guys there is a set for anyone at this store.

Teresa at the Lego Store really listened to what I needed yesterday and went out of her way to help me out. I walked out feeling so relieved and happy. Thank you very much, Teresa for making my Christmas bright!

Amazing service, best selection in town. We had a small issue during our visit and the staff went over and above my expectations to make it right. Will only be purchasing Lego here from now onwards.

Can't say enough about the friendly staff! They are never pushy and always want to help. The store has a great selection and they have many sets assembled and on display. They always have the newest sets available. It's a great place to stop in an browse as well. Have a good time!

Very friendly staff who are probably the most resilient people in the world because there are rowdy children in and out all day. It's great to come in and see the built models. I wish the store were bigger so that you could have time to admire the models. The store is catered for all ages of Lego fan and is one of the bright spots in Chinook mall.

My kid and i LOVE this store. I almost rated it 1 star because of my lack of self control here and nearly breaking the bank spending here. The staff are super cool and awesome to chat with. The place is spotlessly clean and best of all full of cool Lego toys.

Love the LEGO store. I have grown up with LEGO all my life and have always enjoyed building and playing with LEGO. This store is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and attentive and helpful. Both adults and kids are found here drooling over the latest set that LEGO has produced. The only thing that I can say is that one might think the toy is pricey and I think so but the product is of the highest quality and there only LEGO no other similar toy compares. I have several set that I have purchased over the years and have always enjoyed building and playing with them.

Every time I go here I am amazed by the passion, knowledge and pure enjoyment the staff have for Lego. They were so helpful with my nephews looking for specific accessories in that overwhelming Lego pieces bin. Very informative when you asked questions about Lego sets and quickly invited my nephews to join a free build! They have great staff and I must say make shopping for Lego a ok experience for a non-Lego lover. Thanks Lego staff!

The only store in Calgary that a great place to buy toys. You can find a lot of Lego midels only available in there. Even adults like this place buy Lego for display.

If my son is happy I am happy, we visit this store at least 1 a month to get 3 figures for my son's collections. The staff is friendly and always new items.

Always an amazing and helpful experience. A very busy (and far too tiny) shop but the staff work hard to ensure your experience is a good one.

For adults: super-knowledgeable staff and great selection of premium Lego sets. For kids: hands-on play areas and a reasonable selection of Lego sets and minifigures.
