The Makers Keep at The Grand

At the All Is Bright Festival tonight. We often pop in to look around when we are on 124st and have several decorations. It was super busy as they were giving away hot cocoa which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and we got a new Christmas tree ornament. A really cute wooden outline of Alberta with a heart where Edmonton is.

Lots of cute quirky items including artisanal cards, candles, gifts and decor. Seemed reasonably priced to me.

The only bummer is that there isn’t more to do in the area, except for visiting Tiramisu (which is excellent) next door. We visited a vintage clothing shop nearby but it wasn’t to our taste.

I was pretty upset that the store doesn't seem to follow its own store hours. I went to pick up an item for rush pick-up at the store on July 26. There was a sign stating they were closed July 24-26. Nowhere was that posted on the website. What made things worse is I did come again on the 27th only to find the store still closed with no explanation provided. I came at 4: 55-5: 10 pm when the store was supposed to open at 7pm.

Excellent showcasing of the work of local artists at the K-Days Expo Exhibition Hall and will be visiting this location soon to purchase gifts which are one of a kind.

Big location, lady at the till was exceptional! Went during the light festival and so glad they stayed open late. Too bad it was so busy.

This store is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet which is excellent for my sensory issues. I LOVE that they welcome well behaved pets as my dog got to shop with me and help pick out his own Jack 59 dog shampoo. I loved the Jack 59 products that I bought myself (the detanglers are my favourite) I also really like the solid perfumes that I found they have really unique scents. I got my boyfriend a burbon scented one and my own highlights were the cherry and almond and the cotton Candy and lime one!

The staff are really friendly and really helpful. I love the array of crystal bracelets as well! I thought everything was priced well and loved supporting local! I go every time that I’m in the area!

I purchased a dry shampoo, it colors my white hair oranges. I tried to return it or exchange or store credit, to no avail. They told me to return to manufacturer. I contacted manufacturer and they would not take a return that was not purchased there, so not happy. Stand behind the products you sell.

Hands down the best place to shop local - knowledgeable and friendly staff, always smiling under those masks. My wife and I find ourselves there quite a lot.

I love the selection and unique stock. A beautiful store. There were two staff but neither came to greet me and my sister or see if we had questions, which we did. Loved it otherwise. This was at the 124 Street location.

Very nice store storing local. The customer service was great too. She did everything she could to get my items in and accommodate requests. Will definitely return.

I walked into The Makers keep at the Grand this morning! Wow! I was so blown away by the products. It was super hard not to stay there all morning picking out items for myself and family. Thank you for your kindness today and all year. I follow on IG and have now found a new local shop to buy from!
