The Meadows Community Recreation Centre

This is my first time coming here with my sister in law and we just wanted to check out the place. We were given a tour by Doug, and he is such an amazing person! He knows everything about the rec center, very detailed tour we had with him. The washroom are really clean, and maintained. We liked that despite the business of the rec center, they are up to date in maintaining the cleanliness of the place. Since we really enjoyed the tour, and felt like everything you need for recreation is in that one place, we are going to sign up with rec center, along with our other family members!

Great place for the whole family, but would like healthy food in the cafe inside, and not just ice cream and other unhealthy sweet snacks.

I love this REC centre for my family. This facility is very clean and welcoming, the ladies in the child minding are amazing! I feel completely safe dropping bc my toddlers off with them while I work out and do my classes. It’s very organized compared to any other child minding in the other gyms. The classes are awesome I love Cindy’s classes she is amazing and I have felt and seen many results. Highly recommend this REC centre for families!

Come as a fan to the rinks, great experience, the heaters are on a timer so bring some extra clothes!

I love to come here they have the best pool. I also love the space in the hot tub. They have a nice eating area too.

I visited there many times and it is the best place for leisure and enjoyment.specially for children, kids and teenagers. All kind of games, assets are available. And it is not that much expensive any one can afford. In future, if any one want to enjoy little bit of ‘’ me time” must visit.

The main floor area by the Dairy Queen, washrooms and change rooms smells like there is a major plumbing issue.

The pool area is nice but the kids pool is needlessly cool. The hot tub there is about as warm as the kids pool at Clareview Rec. Centre.

Kids Play Centre is nice though.

It’s a modern but busy gym, for that reason it can be intimidating for me I was having a hard time adjusting the weight rack from previous use and I was about to give up as there were a few people waiting for it as well. One of the staff members who welcomed me earlier, noticed I was struggling and was very respectful in offering help to adjust it. I really appreciated that as a new gym goer. Thanks Nadeem!

This place is crazy good, mostly because this place has better atmosphere than most places and the activities you can do, Gym, Gymnasium, Hockey Rink, Swimming & More

Great facility in SE Edmonton. Has everything you need to spend several hours. Library, Ice arena, large pools and steam room. The gym has a good layout but can feel claustrophobic at certain times of the day. Busy place but you can find plenty of activities to keep you active.

Good place and good staff members and one of my favourite is Nadeem and he is providing such a good guidance

It was very quiet, I counted 10 people by noon then 5 by 1 then I was the only one in the main pool for about 1 hr. Then a bunch of children came in just as I was leaving at 1: 30. Even though there was no lane swim available and the main pool was closed still was good

Always an awesome experience. The kids and I have been having a great time at the pool during this summer. The rec center is generally really fun for the kids with a wide range of amenities to make it worthwhile. The gym and fitness center is also great with a lot of varieties.

Fantastic complex, but can get busy. It is one of my favourite rec centres to go to in Edmonton and area.

Very modern and beautiful recreational center with all types of activities for kids, youth, adults and seniors.

I just wished that there is an area on this facility where you can file a formal complaint. We went there for swimming for about 3 hours, the Crocs shoe charms for my 3 kids were gone. 9 pins in total so disappointing because there is a camera on the entrance where all the shoes are located so we went to the front and complain telling them there was a camera on the area then the staff on the reception said that we have to file a police complaint then they will check the camera. They know that we will not file
a police complaint over a Crocs pin so we felt that they are tolerating it. Just frustrating.

I had visited for the first time, but only gone for pool. The staff is pathetic, don’t know how to talk to people to be honest not all but most of the staff was rude.
