Dallas made a delicious stuffed pork loin and beef roast for our Thanksgiving dinner this year. He even waited after closing time for me to pick it up. If I didn’t live 2 hours away, I would definitely get my meat there all the time.

I came in asking for some pre packed frozen sirloin steaks like I had before. I paid $8.50 each for 6 last time I visited. I asked for the same thing this visit. My clerk went to the back without any conversation about the price and returned with 4 steaks at $15 each. That isn't what bothered me. When I said no thank you the butcher/manager/owner yelled "thank you" loud from the back on my way to the door spitefully. Thanks for my last visit because it was worth the trip. Hopefully it was a one off day.

Always top quality product. Dallas also gives some good advice on how to prepare/cook the meats.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Butcher Box in Lethbridge, Alberta, and I must say, I am absolutely blown away by the experience. It's so refreshing to see such a high level of commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction!

As for the product itself - incredible! I tried their hamburger patties and smokies, and they were nothing short of fantastic. The patties were juicy and full of flavor, grilling up perfectly, and the smokies had just the right balance of spices, offering a delightful savoriness that I'm already craving more of. You can taste the quality and care that goes into sourcing and preparing these meats, and it's clear that The Butcher Box doesn't compromise when it comes to offering the best.

There is no better place to get your local fresh meat products. Great for summer barbequing or winter nights on a date with a loved one. Dallas gets nothing but the best meat in the world. The only meat I would put in my mouth

As the Executive Chef of the restaurant recently voted Best Fine Dining restaurant in the city, Dallas and the MeatBox have saved my skin more often than not.in fact if I had a nickel for everytime I received exceptional service, exceptional product and loads of inspiration. I'd have 104 nickels.

Amazing options, great food. We have tried the bacon burgers, sausage, and the wild boar bacon. Absolutely amazing. And the staff and owner are such a delight. If you have not gone you must.lol

Superior sausages and premium quality meats, no it's not the cheapest, but you certainly get what you pay for here and if you want the meats, they've certainly got you covered. Aside from the cuts and the tastes, the customer service from their wonderful staff is absolutely top notch!

I was referred to this place by a friend and Ill never buy my meat any where else! I've bought ribs, bacon, and a couple different cuts of steak and it's always been the best meat I've ever eaten. The owner even gave me some advice on cooking steaks which I gladly accepted and I'll never do it differently! The prices are very fair and it really is top quality stuff, plus everyone there is so kind and friendly. If you have never been to The Meat Box I cannot stress enough that you should head in and say hi!

The owner, Dallas, always takes time to come out to answer my questions or let me know what he is cooking up in the kitchen, or introduce me to the new things he is carrying, since my last visit. I really appreciate that he, and his staff, make every effort to provide great customer service. The Meat Box offers a wide selection of in-house freshly made sausages (including, my favorite, head cheese), and sources a variety of fresh meat options. The beef is exceptional! Hands down best butcher in Lethbridge. Possible southern Alberta. Was so glad to see a new butcher shop opening due to some bad experiences with the other many one in town. We will be repeat customers for sure. One of the best cut briskets we had this summer. Only place we can find elk and bison locally and affordably. The wagyu is definitely worth stopping in for.

First, the most friendly and helpful group of folks! The sausages are INCREDIBLY Tasty and such an AMAZING Selection of them! I can't wait to make the pork belly that I bought there and Dallas was kind enough to share his cooking method as I have never cooked it before! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop %100 and look forward to trying more of their products!

If i could give it more then 5/5 stars i would! BEST butcher shop HANDS DOWN in lethbridge here! Dallas and his crew are SUPER friendly and always so helpful! The meat is very high quality from another local shop i use to go to in industrial area. The price is another amazing part because its super reasonable for the quality you get! Im there every week and have never been let down! See you next week bud!

This place made me realize that until now I've never had a proper meat buying experience, and my life is now better having had one.

I showed up more than an hour after close and they were happy to let me in. The space isn't huge, but it's spotless (including the kitchen you have full view of) and the decor looks great. I came in for a pork shoulder to smoke and pull, and they had the best price I found. Discovered they have a wicked smoker setup themselves and they're putting out ready smoked chickens (or wing and drumstick packs) that taste fantastic. You can tell that the pitmaster/butcher/owner Dallas knows what he's doing and the customer service from both him and his assistant Jesse was top notch. I asked about the wood and they sent me home with a bag of it. We talked smoke and meat for a bit and I learned a lot. Dallas grabbed one of his favorite books from kitchen, handed it to me and told me to bring it back next time, and I had never even met the guy before. To top it off, their POS system stopped working and they told me not to worry and we'd square up when I brought the book back.

I don't know if your experience will be as awakening as mine, but I do know that these guys will do whatever they can to earn your business. The best part is that I don't think it matters to them whether that business is enough salami to make a sandwich, or a 3 month dry aged tomahawk steak cut in front of you. I'll definitely be back.
