This is a beautiful store full of artists treasures. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they are artists themselves. There is so much product to choose from. You will most definitely be delighted!

Some places carry art supplies, while others supply artists. This store is more than a blank slate. The people who work here are the real reason I keep coming back. Everyone is encouraging, patient, and incredibly humble. They supply all the intangibles that artists need and crave when working or just getting started. I’ve seen them treat every skill level with the highest respect and I appreciate all the help they give. From picking the best budget erases to feedback on compositions, they are really there for the artists of Edmonton. I can’t wait to run out of something just to make a trip in to visit!

Ordered through their online website for my painting class since I live a few hours away. I was recommended by my professor. I ordered on Friday and got everything Monday night! The box was packed nicely and nothing was broken. Kaylee even left a little doodle on the card haha!

They had almost every paint I needed for an EXTREMELY good price! I will 100% buy from them from now on.

I'm a mixed media textile artist. I shop at The Paint Spot for fibre arts supplies like indigo dye kits, fabric paints (especially Pebeo, which are my absolute favourites!), art brushes, and specialty papers for felting. I appreciate that the staff are helpful and knowledgable. They have been able to print out instructions and provide tips for using products that are new to me, or that require special handling. For the mixed media aspect of my art practice, I've also purchased products that range from easels to watercolour and acrylic paints, markers and more.

One thing that really impresses me about The Paint Spot is how supportive it is to the Arts Commmunity as a whole. The owner, Kim, has coordinated the Strathcona Art Walk for many years. The store is involved in many special events, and has helped over the years to bring artists to conferences in Edmonton. It provides facilities for artists to show and sell their work in the Naess Gallery, and to offer classes and workshops in the Artelier space. Artelier also offers rentable workshop and lecture space to not-for-profits in our city, at a reasonable cost. These are really valuable contributions to our city's culture and arts.

I would recommend The Paint Spot as a preferred art materials supplier.

The Paint Spot carries a great selection of products. Staff are great at answering questions. I love that they have a gallery and offer classes too.

I stopped in at The Paint Spot late one Saturday morning as my wife needed a particular item for some work she does. Not having an artistic bone in my body, I was a little overwhelmed with all the supplies available. Luckily the staff are extremely friendly and could tell that I was out of my element. They gladly showed me what I was sent to pick up and made the experience easy for me. My children enjoyed looking around the store and seeing all the artwork, as they love creating art. They especially loved the one wall covered in bright and colourful artwork, and they enjoyed telling one of the employees about how the one painting of the Furby reminded them of the giant Furby in the movie The Mitchells vs.the Machines. I'm sure we'll be returning again to The Paint Spot again in the future.

I have been a very happy customer for years and I qm sure that I will continue to be one for many more. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. My orders have always arrived quickly; and in good condition. I appreciate their positive and friendly assistance.

I live in BC and the shipment was fast with personal customer service via email. They seem to have a family run business vibe.like small town. I really appreciate that as I live in a big city and the personal communication is important to me. Also they have a fantastic assortment of creative items. Stuff you need and stuff to ignite your imagination and learn a new skill.they have it! And shipping is flat rate or free with min purchase. Im not an advertiser but I order online maybe once a year and with The Paint Spot I ordered twice in one month.

Really love this company, they have a great variety of products that are hard to find, and the customer service is even greater! I forgot one item in my order and they were very helpful and friendly with me throughout the process, they even proposed me a couple of modifications to see what would suit me better in this case.
