Mabe the lady was having a bad day but you don't drag my little guy along the floor in front of me by his leash like he was just another $$$. Not an ounce of compassion in her face which triggered me.and of course he got scared.you pick him up or I hand him to you.you dont drag him. Wow.broke my heart to see him treated that way.unbelievable.that is when i walked out with him. He'd been there for a bath and also daycare before so why she asked me if he would bite her was strange.read his file.the male owner never even stepped in and ignored me.we will never be back. Never

This was my first time going to the 124st location and the last. I brought my two dogs in to be groomed. When we got inside one of my dogs jumped on the swinging door at the desk and it hit the wall. I said “oh Jesus, I’m sorry about that” and the lady at the front desk looked at me like I just committed a crime. She asked me to not use the lords name in vain because she is Christian and it makes her uncomfortable.
I nearly turned around and left with both my dogs. I’m not against religion and believe everyone should be able to practice religion, should they choose to. However, making others conform to the rules of your religion is unprofessional and uncalled for… especially in a business setting.
Giving three stars because the grooming service was good, but won’t be going back.

My puppies where in for appointment at 8: 30am came and pick them up at 2: 05 pm and still not ready! Had to wait 35 more minutes. Very unprofessional, not happy to have my boy and girl all day! And they want tips, yeah right.

I’ve been to the pampered puppy multiple times for grooming and this latest visit will be my last. I brought my dog in where he was taken to the back, he was quickly ushered out, zero interaction with the groomer he just handed me his leash and turned to her coworker to say “can you tighten my clippers. ” When I got to my vehicle I noticed blood on both front paws. Upon inspection on his right paw was actively bleeding. So I went back in where they put the quick stop he needed on it and all the person at the front said was “ya his Dew claw got cut. ” I feel this should have been communicated earlier. Needless to say I feel it was a rushed hack job. Not going back

Ginger is 3 year old terrier and she hates her feet touched, her face and hates the blower dryer. She is truly a sweet dog but has her moments when it comes to grooming. When I met Ashley for the first time I explained the best I could on how I wanted Ginger groomed. Clean/close cut, sharp ears, basically military style lol. I was blown away when I saw Ginger after her grooming. Ashley exceeded my expectations. This is by far the best cut she's ever had. I highly recommend Ashley if you have a puppy/dog who's high energy and alittle particular with their grooming.

The service our dog received was great. And so was the price. We will be returning periodically for the same service. They had no trouble with the task. However, the last business we took him to, sure did.

They did a very good cut although it took four hours and that is a lot of time to kill when you get to their destination on the bus.

Our pup Loves it here. The location on 124th St is convenient with easy drop off service. She is always happy after her Spaw service.

How could you mistreat such a sweet innocent puppy. Terrible customer service. Takes horrible care of dogs, and when it’s addressed they could care less to apologize. Disappointing and disgusting.

No, I haven’t been to this place, and never will. Honestly just came here to see the reviews but after seeing the replies to the lower reviews from the “owner” it is extremely unprofessional and immature to respond to comments the way you are. If this is the owner writing these replies, grow up and find another job, obviously you can’t handle criticism and don’t care for clients that had bad experiences with you. No remorse or care, just pettiness and immature responses. I hope every dog that walks into this location walks out in one piece as there are far too many bad reviews explaining how poorly the pups were treated while getting groomed here. At least apologize for the inconvenience don’t blame the owners for your mistakes you never pointed out.

I have a bichon friśe and we have been going to all pampered puppy locations for almost 2 years now and every single time they give me my baby rice looking so gooooood! I appreciate all the work you guys put up for my baby. Thank you!

I always take my dog here for nail trims. Cheap and always available to get it done. Not to mention they are super quick. Great location downtown with decent parking for a quick pet grooming.

Malicious and false accusations towards this business is ridiculous! I not only learned from the owner and her daughter my passion of grooming, but I worked there after I graduated, until I moved to Calgary and in no way are they cruel, unkind or hurt dogs in their care! They are passionate at their art and care for every dog there as their own! I saw these photos floating around Facebook and those nails were not cut to the point of mutilation those nails were cut exactly as close to the quick causing no damage! I didn’t even see any dried blood from bleeding. The original poster of that malicious Facebook post needs to calm down on watching her dramatic reality shows and thinking that’s what real life is! The drama some people love to cause too try and ruin a family run business is just outright wrong and mean! Oh and to the other reviewers that are writing negative reviews based on a couple of pictures, get a life! Social media bullies are sooooooo 2021! Y’all need a little bit of Jesus in your life

Fantastic service and staff! We were nervous to bring the pup here since he’s still anxious around strangers, but they handled him perfectly. All parts of his coat that I had problems doing at home, like his paw pads and nails, looked like perfection after. Loved that he got some play time in between trims as well and came home totally pooped. Will definitely be bringing the pup back here!

The Sothside location was great! Good service and awesome results. A little pricey though.

Ivy the boat dog needed a trim before setting sail in the Bahamas. We did some research and found The Pampered Puppy and decided to give them a try based upon their reviews. We are so happy that we did! Ivy was a little dishevelled before hand but came back to us trimmed tidy and smelling great!

Sorry to say, not the best. Overpriced, mediocre cut. My dog has had better for far less. My dog would not come sit on my lap as usual for 3 days after and he snapped at others so I am also assuming he was not treated well. His paw was cut and it appears as if the skin by his tail was also cut in the process. He is 10 years old and this has never happened with previous groomers. He has now forgiven me now for allowing him to go there.

I'm highly recommended if you want to have your furry babies to get clean and style, this is the place! My husky smells so good! Excellent job! Very professional when have questions about the trimming groomer called me and asked. She has my grandpup's paws trimmed so nicely. I went to several bath places none have done the job good. I only regreted I should have come here earlier. Sarah has done an amazing job! I will definitely come back! Good communication is the key. Also thank to Brian for quick response thru emails when I booked the appointment.
