The Pint Whyte

Trying to watch sports with friends. The bartender does not serve people in the order they arrive. Waited 15min to get served just for a random person to swoop in and get served before me. 20min in finally get served. It was not busy. Not a apology or anything for the long wait either. Lol that's Arrogance

Three times. Three times I have come to this place, only to leave after a half hour of never being served. Unless you are in a big group, or appear as a big spender, you are meaningless in terms of being a customer. Their food is subpar for what you get, and I've received undercooked wings a plethora of times on wing night.

0 stars if I could put it - the staff at this location are extremely rude and did not provide good service which was disappointing. I came with my friend and they didn't even serve us, the manager was rude not solving any issues we had when it was brought to his attention so we decided to leave. Maybe we had a bad night, however do not recommend.

Service was really bad on a Wednesday night. We had to grab plates and napkins ourselves as nobody brought when we asked nor they they served us water when we asked for it.
Management should definitely think about having more staff.

Terrible service. When asked what the cheapest shot was the response given from the bartender was "You". After the comment she made, we did not tip as she continued to be rude to us. Then she told the other bartender not to serve us and ignored us.

Great pub! They have friendly and fast staff. Inviting environment right off the busy Whyte ave. They often have different bands and DJs playing.

First day after they lifted restrictions, and they were understaffed. We spend most of the time with out a drink in our hands. They were also out of the first 3 drinks we ordered. It was a little disappointing, but I have been there many times with out issue. Hopefully it was a one off. Cheers

Good ambiance, decent prices, not too crowded during covid days, tasty food, courteous waitress.

I have always enjoyed going to this Pint in specific. It's got a great vibe, good music and lots of good music. The food is not expensive, neither the best (but the party ambience makes up for it).

Great food, drinks and atmosphere!
Happy hour specials and wonderful service. Back patio is secluded and cozy and front patio always provides lots of street action.

Love this place! Glad we can go and be out on the patios now, but I miss sunday school! Hopefully that starts back up

Always have a good experience at this location! There was a little bit of an error with my last order and Duncan was very quick to correct it and made sure I got what I needed. Very impressed with the service and quality of food and drinks, and I always recommend this place to my friends & family.

Well spaced tables, lots of TV's, great food and friendly staff. It's hard to hear through masks a lot of the time, but our waitress spoke loud and clear through the noise of the bar and the muffle of the mask.

Wing Wednesday! Great location, lots of lovely delishous food. Cauliflower bites instead for veggies among us. And they have a great beer selection!

Wings are excellent! Staff are very affable and professional. Security and managers deal with creeps and problem people quickly & concisely.

I like the downtown Pint more than the one off Whyte Avenue because of the sunny west facing summertime patio.

Came for wing Wednesday, it was hella busy but we still got great service. The bar was a little slow getting drinks out but still not too shabby. The wings were sooo yummy and HUGE! I will be back forsure

Great environment especially on Wednesday nights! The servers really try and push drinks though which can get annoying and often times it can be quite dark during the winter. Overall really good food and a great place to eat with friends. Some nights they really struggle to get serve you immediately. Found ourselves flagging servers down multiple time just to be served drinks and given menus.

Friendly staff whenever I'm there. I've mostly spent my time there with private events.the side room is great for this.super roomy and has it's own bar if the event is big enough to require it. I tried a couple of appys (potato skins & perogies) they were tasty but a little dry - our lovely server brought some extra sour cream and all was right again

This place is always packed on the weekends.the men definitely out number the girls I go with my fiance and still manage to get hit on? !? ! The only thing is the bathrooms are the worst here always smell like open @$$ and make sure someone is holding ur seat for you if your sitting at the bar because it will get stolen. I stood up to take a picture and this guy took my seat? !? ! I've eating here in the past a few times. The food was like most bar food. And service is fast and seem cool.

Better than the rest of the Pints and other similar pubs simply because the manager is obsessed with doing an incredible job. Unusual to find this kind of service from a simple pub.

Had the taco and pulled pork sliders which were really good. But the fries.awesome! 4 $ big beers. Highly reccomend this place.

First time at this chain, they do serve a full Pint which is nice, however we missed the happy hour deals. The tacos were on special, definitely not authentic Mexican food, but filling and tasty.

I just went to the Pint last night. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich to go with onion ring s and asked if the pulled pork could be separate because I had to walk home and didn't want the bun to get soggy. They did everything I asked and the sandwich was AMAZING! Best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had! The bun was the perfect size and it was toasted and but still soft and had some really nice herbs on the outside. The coleslaw had the best dressing and and paired sooo well with the sauce on the pulled pork! The sauce on the pulled pork was so flavourfull! And the pork was cooked to perfection and didn't have any fatty chunks! It was soft easy to chew! The onion rings were amazing as well! I highly recommend the Pint!

Home is where it’s at. I’m a true believer that great things come with those that make it awesome. The south side crew makes your night wonderful and complete. Haters be haters. Good things come with the great people that make a place wonderful and special. Pint is the place to be!

When busy, service takes hella long. Turkey legs were not that good. Would recommend for wing Wednesdays

Usually go here for Wednesday's wings night. The wings have gotten juicier in recent years and while the place is usually busy the servers always try their best to get things done in a timely manner. Overall a great, friendly place to have a gathering of co-workers in a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Wish I could give it zero stars after last night.
We sat ourselves and our server Veronica took 30 minutes to come greet us.
She checked our ID and tossed it back to us.ummm hi be careful with our government issued ID. Do not throw it back please return it with care.
Didn’t do a good job of checking the ID. (if I was a secret shopper the restaurant could have gotten a fine for that or her pro serve taken From her)
Her service was horrible. Right off the bat she looked like she didn’t want to serve us. The vibe was there. From the way she was standing to the way she talked. You work in a hospitality industry, Have patients.
Food was okay drinks were great but service was not up to par.

The most unprofessional experience. I sat at the bar with a girlfriend and felt extremely out of place when this guy in a hoodie and backwards hat came to serve us. I asked for the bartenders name, he told me Beeker. He Gave me a load of attitude when I asked his name. Aren’t service staff supposed to introduce themselves at least? Later on I saw him mowing down on chicken wings behind the bar.not even sure if he worked at the establishment. Sure definitely wasn’t dressed for it. I will definitely be turning around if I see he is “working” again.

Went there yesterday for lunch with a group of co-workers, terrible experience, there were two servers for the entire restaurant, meal took almost an hour to receive and mine was cold but I was too hungry for them to remake (which would've taken another 1 probably). Taller brunette waitress was nice so I don't blame her, its management's fault, two front house staff on a friday lunch covering that whole restaurant? Looked like kitchen had at least 4 or 5 cooks and it still took that long for food?

The food was terrific. The service was bad. My wife went there for paint night and was struck by the good quality of the food and the terrible service provided by the server.

My boyfriend and his friends went for wings and they were really disappointed with the service. Their server was a girl with tattoos on her arms. The server gave them bad looks all night, when they asked for advice on the beer she didn't know how to reply. Also, when they asked for two minutes because one of his friends was coming she gave them a weird look and left, took a while for her to come back. The server made their experience awkward and unenjoyable because they didn't know what they did wrong. She wasn't friendly at all! Go to the Pint on Downtown they got better service.

We like to go here for special events. Halloween, new year, Ext.always great music, fun and friendly people, and the bartenders rock!

Came for breakfast at 11 on a weekend. The server was quick and friendly and the food was solid, brunch for $12 is a great deal

Hahahahaha. You fired me for being stupid. When that guy showed me "how to do lettuce wraps" he cooked them up and told me to fill up the lettuce shells with the contents.ok. That seemed easy, right? Then when the chef asked me to do a lettuce thing to test how well I learned it, what a surprise, I did not know how to do it. Then, remember, you and the guy who "trained me" took me to the patio and let me go because I didn't know how to do the lettuce thing. I had never even seen in the line coolers, so let me say that you REALLY MADE THE BEST DECISION FOR YOUR BAR! No. Just kidding. You lost one of the best employees to have working for you. And you had me. Congratulations. I do forgive you.good luck! Aren't you kids the shop just off of Whyte? With the staffrooms downstairs? I and not at all surprised you don't have lettuce wraps on your menu anymore because those years ago man. Whatever you are forgiven because I had a job now with the company takes care of me and sees me for who I am, which is good enough I guess. Whatevers. You are forgiven, but kiss four of your stars goodbye!

Been here a few times. Havent had one bad experience. Went out on halloween no line up got right in.got our drinks, danced had a fun night!

Great staff, awesome crowd. Didnt have to wait long for drinks. Great selection of beers. Totally reccomend.
