I have stayed here before in the lodge beautiful room's and we are booked to go back next month into owl cottage so we can cook our own food as the restaurant was such a disappointment
This time we stated in a spruce tree house cottage it was lovely
We saw deer outside our window this is definitely luxury accommodation, so I was surprised they cheaped out on toilet paper, I will take my own from now on as I like a bit of luxury, even my bf commented on how bad the toilet paper was.
Also I wouldn't recommend the breakfast the first morning it was in room, my omelette looked more like scrambled egg with a bit of cheese thrown in it, nothing like an omelette, the yogurt and granola was delicious but was in a jar so small it was the size of baby food jar, not what I expected for a luxury place, i wanted to cancel this mornings breakfast because we hadnt had a great meal in the restaurant, but as they are short staffed, we give Them a pass about breakfast,
My mistake I should have canceled
so this morning we go to the restaurant for breakfast when we arrived at 9am the orange juice was already empty and the muffins picked over,
We had to ask for more orange juice which was no problem
The breakfast was western today, another disappointment, potatoes weren't cooked properly and I have no idea what the square thing was but it was very tasteless
So I personally would not recommend the breakfast drive to rocky for a much better deal, that's the only reason I have not given 5 stars the breakfast is a let down for such a luxury accommodation
When I stayed in the lodge before you had access to home made cookies and muffins that were free that were nicer than the muffins at breakfast this morning

Had a beautiful weekend here. Nice and quiet. Spent some time by the creek. The food was amazing. Will definitely go back. The 2 person soaker tub was great as well

Beautiful location, very thoughtfully curated. Excellent food and friendly service. Incredibly soft sheets and towels.

I only wish there'd been somewhere to dip our toes in the creek, but you can see the creek from the restaurant and there are several places to sit close by and enjoy it.

The whole vibe of the place is for a quiet retreat. We loved it.

A fabulous inn just south of Rocky Mountain House. We had not expected the accommodations to be that modern, clean, comfortable, and equipped. The breakfasts were also excellent, as was the restaurant for a gourmet dinner. Highly recommended. Note, the location does require some planning if you are staying there for hiking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or other mountain activities.

We enjoyed an absolutely perfect 30th anniversary in The Birds Nest Suite this week. The privacy, seclusion and romance were beyond what any couple could possibly hope for. From walking in to our dimly lit gorgeous suite with soft jazz playing, to the quiet knock on the door delivering us a phenomenal breakfast in bed on our anniversary, to our late night snowshoeing trek underneath the most spectacular sea of stars, and our daytime forays on the trails to the creek, warming up by the fireplace, the soaker tub.having the main lodge virtually to ourselves.all of it was the stuff dreams are made of! Absolutely this is a top romantic getaway worthy of 5 stars!

A hidden gem! Will be back for sure. Accommodations are so quiet and private and well-maintained.
We had dinner at the restaurant which was outstanding. Breakfast in the room first morning was incredible and a nice treat. We were able to bring our dog along with us which was fun for all. Private fire pits outside were awesome.
If I had one piece of criticism it would be to have maybe a little more lighting outside the main buildings at night. We didn’t arrive till after 8 o’clock our first night and it was pitch black and hard to find our way around. Other than that the place is incredible! Highly recommended.

The Prairie Creek Inn came highly recommended by a friend and my husband and I were so glad we went. Not a long drive from Edmonton. Check in was easy. We stayed in the main lodge but I'm told the cottages are amazing as well. I would say the vibe is cozy but still upscale. We ended up having breakfast in our room and it was much better than expected. I would love to try their restaurant when we come back but do note that it is only open on certain days of the week. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect anniversary getaway. Very impressed with front end staff, who modified our booking to reflect their off season pricing before we even arrived, Stable Room was beautiful and shower is amazing, grounds well kept and peaceful, the FOOD WAS PERFECTION, we had an awesome omelette among other breakfast items with the breakfast in bed option, and the dinner at Heartstone was next level, get the seafood pasta or strip loin steak and you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! We will be back without question!

Amazing remote location and luxurious accommodation, highly recommend for a work retreat or a personal trip. Willy and his staff are friendly, attentive and kind, and the food is second to none - I can't wait to visit again!

My husband and I spent 2 nights to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. From the moment we checked into the Aspen Treehouse suite to our final breakfast on the Sunday morning we were blown away. The staff went above and beyond every step of the way. Our meals were incredible my husband has celiac disease and the care and attention paid to make sure his meals were safe was incredible. Both mornings he has a gluten free muffin waiting for him separate from the rest of the muffins. Almost all optioins for supper were gluten free and were incredibly delicious and we left absolutely stuffed.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a special getaway with that someone special.

One of my most favourite getaways! I think I've gone 5 or 6 times in the past 8 years and it's always a wonderful stay. The staff is super friendly, the room is cozy and clean, and it's so peaceful and quiet. Just 15 minutes from Rocky Mountain House is nice, too. The restaurant is wonderful and Sara, one of the servers, goes above and beyond! I look forward to many more visits in the coming years!

My family and I just visited prairie creek inn for my birthday between May 24-27, which is considered their off season, so prices were a little cheaper. We stayed in the fireside cottage and LOVED it. It was a cozy, 2 bedroom cottage with a living room with tv and fireplace, kitchen with all cooking utensils, pots and pans, Keurig, toaster, and kettle. It also had a table that can seat 4 people.

A little note about the kitchen supplies. They supply Tim Hortons decaf and Kirkland summit roast pods. We did end up asking the front desk for more summit roast as we were 75% more decaf and the rest regular. The toaster is no good- which doesn’t really matter, but it only toasts on one half of the bread and you have to pry it out with your hands. I appreciated that they had a recycling bin.

For each cabin there is parking stalls in front of. We were able to fit two vehicles in from of the fireside cottage.

The cottage is fairly private with trees and shrubs around.

There are plenty of fire pits, supplied with wood, wiener sticks, and chairs to sit in. Theres lots of seating by the creek, which I personally found really relaxing to sit by.

It’s 15 minutes away from Rocky Mountain house, which makes it convenient if you want to go in to get groceries or go to a cafe.

Go to the Heartstone restaurant located on the property. It is delicious! We had a breakfast there which my family all loved, and then we also ate there one night for dinner, which we all really loved as well.

Some minor improvements to be made:
- it could be cleaned more thoroughly. I would say that it is surface level clean. I could see dust underneath the tv stand and there was dust in the bathroom as well as on the arm chairs.
- The bath took 25 minutes to fill it only a quarter way- so I don’t suggest having a bath there.
- we only had one toilet paper roll for three of us for 3 nights. We ended up having to ask for more.
- the fire pits could use a cleaning. The one by the coach suite was FULL of soot but was obviously still usable.

Overall our stay was amazing, and relaxing. I want to go here multiple times a year! Thanks for a great time.

This is a BEAUTIFUL property. Great for a romantic getaway. When you get to your room/cottage, music is playing & lights are on dim. You feel relaxed as you walk in the door. Everything is very clean & well put together. The beds are very comfortable. The soaker tub was so nice to just lounge in and look out at the beautiful view. The restaurant was amazing, the food was some of the best I think we have had. We definitely will be back!

My significant other and I visited The Prairie Creek Inn for the first time this past weekend. We stayed in the Brown Trout Suite and were more than pleased. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom has a huge soaker tub and large stand up shower. The Rocky Mountain Soap Co.shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was an excellent touch! The vibe is very relaxing and peaceful from the room, to the dining, nothing feels rushed.
We initially booked in for 2 nights but we enjoyed our first night and morning so much that we asked about staying a third night. The room that we were staying in was booked by someone else but they were able to book us into another suite. We had to check out of our initial room, which was not a problem. And our new room was made priority and was ready hours prior to regular check in time, which was above and beyond!
We ate at the restaurant for breakfast 2 of the 3 mornings, with the 3rd morning having breakfast delivered to our room as the restaurant was not open for seating. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner on our second night. The food was wonderful and portions were excellent. Sunday night the restaurant was closed so we went into Rocky for dinner (about a 15 minute drive). Very convenient having the town so close.
We cannot wait to return!

We stayed in the Golden meadows room in the main lodge. It was very comfortable. Loved the fireplace and double soaker tub. Very quiet and private. We had breakfast both mornings at the restaurant and it was delicious and well worth the cost. Lovely!

We stayed at the West Country Inn Suite in the main building and it was spectacular! The tub was nice and big, there was tons of hot water to go around and our room had a gorgeous steam shower. All amenities were Rocky Mountain Soap Co.which was a treat. We got breakfast delivered twice and ordered dinner from the restaurant.

The breakfast was delicious and well worth $10/person and the dinner was fantastic as well! I got the maple bacon chicken and I don't think I've had a tastier meal. Compliments to the chef!

Thank you for the romantic getaway. We will be back!

I am so in love with this beautiful place nestled in the trees. I wish I could stay here forever.
So clean and comfortable. Everything from breakfast in bed. Personal fire pit. And amazing restaurant.
Will come back as often as possible.

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy each other's company and your surroundings. Their cabins and suites are all so perfectly decorated. So cozy!

Beautiful resort and property. Went during the Holidays. White and cold, perfect weather. Staff is super friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs, including vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. In this regard, I have to say that I was blown away with the chef's creations. The butternut squash soup was awesome. I do find it odd however that for a regular menu that only has 4-5 entrees, none of them are vegetarian. Vegetarian options are mainstream nowadays. And the only salad option is a Caesar one.there should be a green salad option. Many carnivores prefer salads with vegetables and a balsamic vinaigrette instead of the high calorie Caesar dressing.

The buildings are new, very cozy and inviting. I really liked the main cabin with its very inviting lounge style communal room. Lots of DVD movies to borrow to watch from your room. A variety of coffees, teas and snacks. The snack prices are very competitive; regular hotels tend to charge 2 to 3 times more.

Then on-site restaurant is closed during lunch times. The least they could do is provide a microwave. I realize it would take too much space in the suites, but at a minimum they should provide one in the main lounge area. The cottages have one. If I can't re-heat some left overs or whatnot for lunch, there is nothing on-site for me to eat. That's a problem. I usually don't go to a "resort" having to plan for meals ahead of time.

Kudos to Courtney especially, and to one of our waitress in the restaurant that was the most friendly yet professional.

Was here for some meetings and team building and can’t say enough about this beautiful getaway. Your on the edge of cell phone reception so you feel like you really got away. The rooms are big and have all the amenities that you could ever ask for including a stem shower in my room and a BIG jetted tub. The restaurant only had a few items on the menu but they were okay (3 out of 5 on my scale) but the view out the window more than made up for it. I plan to head back next year.
Oh and I would be remiss if I failed to mention the fire pits across the property with supplied wood for a great way to end your day.

Cozy, quiet and perfect. We had a really nice weekend relaxing at the Prarie Creek Inn. Staff and rooms were excellent, the brunch was amazing both days we were there and the grounds are immaculate. Only downside was spotty cell service and slow satalite based wifi, but that could be a bonus if you want a nice relaxing getaway.

Room was beautiful! Very scenic and private. Breakfast served in the room and delicious. Supper at the restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Chef Tony absolutely killed it!

We truly loved our stay here. The room was simply lovely: a perfect bed, a huge bathtub, a fireplace, and the ability to go snowshoeing right out our door. It was quiet and relaxing.
