Amazing little store on a street full of amazing little stores. Stationary, home decor, cards, and a huge assortment of beautiful and unique kids books. Plus a zillion other neat things!
Be sure to look up, down, and all around, and really take your time here!
Great shop with a wonderful selection of cards, prints, pins, t-shirts, and a small selection of curated books. This is one of my go to locations for birthday cards or other special event cards. Nice offering with some leaning to the quirky side (which I like). Highly recommended for a stop in. Particularly great if you like Tin Tin, Isle of Dogs, and Asterix and Obelix.
Love this place! Great place to find beautiful art books, kids books, and gifts for your friends (and yourself!). I love that they stock cards by local artists. This shop reminds me of how Whyte Ave used to be when I was a kid, and of places where I've travelled with unique local shopping districts. Always something beautiful to look at and spark happiness.
Super cute paper shop, with a well curated selection of books, local artisan pieces and paper products. You will find items like pop up books, cards, journals, posters, unique clocks and more. It's a great place to stop when shopping 124th.
Just another person who wants to give this place and its owner the excellent review they deserve. This place is such a gem with highly curated and brilliant items. Every time you go in you'll find something new to spark your interest. Top of the line service too!
Cutest shop with the most beautiful and unique gifts and lots of stuff from local artists! One of my favorite places in Edmonton. Great kids books, specialty books, pop up books, art books, specially illustrated copies and so much more! A dream for book lovers and art lovers alike! Also perfect for finding merch for your favorite movies, books and shows! Definitely need to visit!
Visiting the Prints and the Paper is a treat as excellent as any attraction or business in the City. You are guaranteed to find something for the book lovers in your life. Sure, you can get print material from Amazon but then you are legitimately missing out on a reamarkable curated experience (not to mention, supporting the erosion of civil society by handing your hard earned money over to psychoconsumersim).
Selection of unique books for artsy adults and cute kids! Most hilarious cards for all occasions and sumptuous stationary! Bespoke canvas bags, comical mugs, pins unique to YEG, so much more. Layout allows you to flip through a book at your leasure. There is even a place for children to sit and enjoy the amazing selection of books. It's an enchanting place!
It’s basically stationary and gifts for people who get it. There is a candy bowl at the checkout that says “Take One”. I’ve found if you make full eye contact with the guy at the till and take two, they don’t enforce the limit at all. Pretty much the best store in Edmonton.
Lots of cute little cards and books and stuff. I think I'll get cards here for all the weddings I have this summer because they are unique. Also lots of great kids books and stuff.
The Prints and Paper is my favorite shop on 124st. They have a fantastic selection of unique books and gifts. I've bought most of my kids' favorite books here, and love to stop by to check out the new pop-up books and peruse the Tin Tin and Asterix collections. I also had two items framed here and they turned out beautifully. The owner is extremely kind and very helpful. Love this place very much!
We were thrilled with the quality of our framing project. When we first approached Sandy we needed his help in creating a perfect frame. We were so happy with the results. Better than what we could imagine with all the component parts spread out on the work table.
Plus, come on! That shop is like nothing I've ever seen in edmonton. Sandy's eye for graphic art is so interesting. From the stationary to the art books. The pillows to the coffee mugs. A person can get lost in the creativity of the things on display.
Shop here. Spend your money here. Encourage him to keep doing what he's doing!
Great spot. Unique gifts. The owner, Sandy, is a welcoming fellow who let's you browse without being overbearing, which is nice. Can be a bit 'spendy', but if you are in this store you are probably buying a gift for a creative-minded loved-one, so it's worth spending a few bucks. Has lots of stuff you won't find anywhere else in the city.
