The Rec Room

Was not busy.but yet very slow service. Food was slightly better then Denny's. With it being $22 for bacon Mac and cheese it's slightly over priced. For edmonton this is typical place but you leave and go to any other city and you will get what your money is worth.

I was not impressed by the Funnel Cake. It looked like pieces they scooped up from the bottom of the deep fryer.

Great safe place to take toddlers. Don't buy tokens. Almost everything is included with your admission.

TERRIBLE Customer service i have never seen such poor service. Food was ok would not go back and eat there. All the employees were to busy hanging around talking than serving customers. We had to wait for drinks, our food sat under the light for 10 min until i got up and asked someone to serve it to us. Waited for drinks and had to ask waitress to check on them. Food was super salty. We waited so long for them to clear our plates that we just got up and left the table. I looked around for waitress and they were all standing around the bar talking. Also the restaurant was almost empty. WILL NOT BE BACK.

I have tried the south common Rec Room over and over again, for one reason only… my son enjoys the games. Each time I go in we spend min 200 dollars one the games. But! Every time I go into the bar I know to try and sit at the bar because if you sit at a table good luck getting service. This was a few weeks ago but I’m still so annoyed at how rude the bartender was, like inconvenience to them. The food is always gross, the pizza is the closest thing I’ve had to ok there. Sorry to leave the review, I can honestly say I’ll never be back to the south common one and we have spent lots of money there over the years. West ed is probably a better bet, play than go to bourbon street.

Nice to have a drink and meal here before playing games! Friendly staff, quick food up and lots of meal options! And drinks too!

Games was good good was good but it was so expensive! 60-70$ for food and drinks! Overall 8/10!

Food is dry as hell no seasoning we ordered nachos and no sause on the side and the burger is really really unflavoured and also the chicken fingers come with ketchup life aren’t they already sweet and everything is extra charge we ordered sause on the side really tiny and weren’t happy with food at all

Food is better than I thought it would be honestly. Really good food. Server kinda disappeared a bit and there weren't many people there that day.

Slow start to service but the waitress was friendly and accommodating. We got the Classic Nachos with chicken & calamari. The chicken on the nachos was ground and unappetizing. Overall a cheap looking & tasting plate of 18 dollar nachos. The calamari was weird; some tasted fishy, some over cooked and way too chewy and some were ok.

This unfortunately isn’t the first time I’ve overpaid for sub par food at the Rec Room but will most definitely be the last. Great place for entertainment & games as well as drinks, just not food.

This place is gross now. There is garbage and cups everywhere. I told the staff about a broken glass and then guarded it to prevent kids from stepping in it for 20 minutes. No one came to clean it up. There is no one bussing glasses. They are stacked on games everywhere.
It is now an hour later, the broken glass is still there. No one cares.

The bar staff were attentive and very good but when it came to getting a table on the floor once our kids were done with the games was another story. Four hostesses standing at the front talking looking at their phones while we are sitting there waiting to be served. When I said something to them they were full of excuses and being rude. So we didn't stay for lunch as planned. Need a manager on site to make sure people are doing their jobs around there.

I reserved a table for birthday occasion but no effort or service related to to then why there is an option of selecting occasions while booking table. You guys don’t serve food on top deck than again why you guys are not telling it while booking. And nachos gets so soggy just in few mins like I have never experienced this thing in any other restaurant. No doubt your game and music is good.

Really busy when I went and still had an awesome time. Good for both social outings or bringing your family.

Decent priced drinks, and although I didn’t get any food, seeing what came out of the kitchen was nice.

Mostly an arcade but has other attractions such as events, a restaurant, and there seemed to be go karts. When I was there the go karts were out of order.

$35 gives you a good amount of time in the arcade, and if you take your time it can go for an hour or two. However, be careful when swiping your cards, doing it too fast seemed to waste credits.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food was alright nothing special though. You definitely don't go here for the amazing food but you will enjoy your meal.

It really depends on what day you go during the week it’s more so family, but during the weekend such as Friday and Saturday they are closed at 1 AM But last call for everything for food and drink us 1245 for drinks and 1230 for food but otherwise they do have previous events hosted on Friday and Saturday and they definitely do try their best to make your experience memorable.

Food here is ok, we sat at the second floor section, the drinks were ok, for overall entertainment it fits the need, some games were not working.
