Asking for donations between 3 different countries to choose from.we should be fixing our own problems like homeless in Edmonton.only time anybody wants to feel self righteous is Thanksgiving and Christmas

I passed by just like that, listening to my mind that saying passed by, then I found a treasure that was looking for that cost over $500.00 for just $25.00, in good shape and working well. Thank you, God, for letting me listen to your voice, as everything belongs to you, and you give them to whom who believe and have faith in you.

To the Manger with the long dirty blonde or brownish hair who is a bit bigger! My mother came in on Friday to ask if you needed help and wanted to volunteer you told her that the Manger was in on Monday and asked her to come back. She couldn't make Monday so she came in today. You must have not been in on Monday and wanted to miss her! She came in today and asked someone for the Manger and they pointed to you and she said your not a darn Manger and got very rude with her. She's a senior lady who has disability and wanted to make a difference you could have told her last week that you guys were looking for help at this time. Rather than waste her time and talk down to her. My mom said the other workers were nice but couldn't believe how this lady was talking and yelling. And ignoring her. I will go in sometime this month and take a picture and make sure edmonton knows and is a wear of this woman.

Nice, clean store. The manager Tracy is a very nice person. Great staff. I’ll definitely be back.

It's a Salvation Army so there isn't much to expect, but was a decent shopping time and they had some pretty cool trinkets.

The prices aren't thrift shopping, they have the same prices as Walmart. The staff is really nice tho. But yeah a thrifted stool shouldn't cost $60.

Large selection of used, donated items, at much better prices than new. Literally anything from clothing to possibly a kitchen sink. The employees are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. This specific location is usually quite clean in comparison to some of the other THRIFT STORES. Which to me says, that the employees take pride in the place they work.

This place has a lot of cool stuff in it changes at least once a week from Aquariums and bedroom stuff and old vintage records and old glassware

Didnt find anything this time but I always go back just to see what kind of good stuff I can find
18 October 2020 17:45
Over priced for things they get for free. When you can go to clearance at a brand store or find new clothes at Walmart for cheaper it makes you not want to buy used stuff! They would sell more if they weren't over priced!

Went to donate a truck load of goods only to get flack for the boxes being wet and was told they wouldn't take most of the household things they'd just throw them in the garbage. Won't ever support them again.

I used to like this store. They used to fill the shelves with interesting stuff you could pick through. Now they have gone through everything carefully before putting it out and there are no more deals. Prices have risen and the staff is quite rude. Not somewhere I make an effort to go to anymore

Can't always find something but I always look. There is some great stuff here for little $$ and it helps out a worthy cause

Okay prices, friendly staff, great parking, however, the store looks dirty could be because it's an older building, but seeing junk inside by the front door wasn't pleasant I am unsure if it was garbage or donations.

Excellent selection of products. There are some hidden gems there if you look. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Just for starters I'd like to say I do not know these individuals names so I am going to use features to describe these individuals. I was in here yesterday with my mother and I witnessed what she had been telling me for months.every staff member in here accept the two younger females that closed the store was rude to my mother. I am assuming it's racial profiling as my mother is visibly native. We have come here a dozen times if not more and each time we have spent quite a bit of money $150+. The older lady with longer hair seems to be the rudest of them all, I believe she is the manager. The shorter lady I think she may have an Asian background would greet everyone and when I said hi she glared at me then the older man told my mom to stop trying on jackets s at the rack four times before he finally backed off. It's really sad when people who can't afford much go to a place like this looking for deals with a good attitude and get treated like trash. I'd like to thank those two new girls they both had blonde hair and closed the store, please don't follow the others examples in my opinion that store needs to be re staffed especially that manager she is one of the rudest most bitter women I have ever had contact with, you would think at her age she would have learned respect and how to treat people but I guess not.

All pants should be one price. If wanted to pay 30.00 for jeans I will go to a jean store not a used store.
Along with other things are priced a bit high. Yes some great deals in there but you have to look. Remember it's free stuff that used!

I was looking for one of two cookbooks called The Big Cook and The Big Cook 2 cookbooks. Couldn't find them at any Coles, Chapters or Indigo here in Edmonton. I couldn't afford the prices they were asking on Amazon. I found the Big cook 2 first here at this location for a great price and less than two weeks later I found the Big Cook at this location also. Talk about luck that I found two cookbooks here at a reasonable price and the books were in excellent condition, barely used. I am grateful I found these books and I thank God for finding them.

I love this store and go often; I donate to this location exclusively and shop here regularly. I really like the staff as well. Unfortunately had a bad experience with an employee there yesterday (saw name tag but will keep her anonymous). There was a line at checkout and she kept snapping at everyone to hurry up so she could “close up quick and get home. ” Then when it was my turn to pay, this employee loudly told me the price on my item was wrong so to “go fix it. ” I’d also brought donations, which she denied seeing. Ended up leaving my intended purchases and walking out upset and confused, while she actually YELLED after me. This woman (will call her “W”) should NOT be the face of such a great store & organization ; I feel a lot of people would be very happy to have her job.

Friendly helpful staff. This organization provides clothing, household items, furniture etc. I delivered a donation from agency to agency at which time I was greeted at the donation door by a friendly and helpful staff member who answered my questions and provided me with a bargain coupon to use while shopping in the store. Good causes and great bargains!

They had alot of good fresh inventory in when I was there so good selection of items. They are now selling brand new plastic wrapped mattresses at an affordable price.a much needed item.

Walked around with my girlfriend and here's what we saw mostly. Way over priced used items/ clothes. Even saw a couple dollarama items with the old dollarama price on it but they up charged on that as well (eg. $2 dollarama tag and $3 salvation army tag over the $2)

Not a bad space it seems, if they change the way pricing works and all that jazz, maybe tidy up a bit then it would make for a much better experience
19 March 2019 21:28
Very rude and arrogant volunteers. They are not properly trained in the art of volunteering. I went to donate, they don't want to answer any of my questions and concerns.

We buy all our staining rags here. Soft towels are the best for great results. Gave up buying poor quality rags at paint stores. And the staff here are great as well. Also love to donate here as they use proceeds and gift giving wisely.
