The Salvation Army Thrift Store

Use to go to this place all the time. Now I have to look for other places to shop! YOU’RE PRICES ARE TO HIGH. You greedy leaches! This is suppose to be a THIFT STORE! Not a rip you off store! It’s even more sickening how the prices are considering you’re located in a low income area… shame on you! And you have the audacity to say it’s based on price point! SHAMEFUL!
Oh and you changed the coupon. Used to be $10 dollars off after $25 or more spent. Now it’s 20% off after $25 spent! JUST KEEP ON COMING WITH THE GAUGING!

I found the prices are getting to expensive. These are donated items to help less fortunate people. I paid 24.00 for mens boots, 1.99
for ladies underwear, etc, etc.
An emergency landed us in Edmonton without any change of clothes.
I thought I could count on the Salvation Army as I always want to support them.but the prices are getting out of control.

Lots to look through the store is a little small but that's because they got so much stuff and they got a no big carry-on policy which is pretty cool because I don't like shopping next to somebody who's stealing that's just feels gross and dirty and yeah good customer service and the prices are great location is awesome and store hours are wicked

I was cold so I stopped by to find a sweater and found a nice addidas sweater that says Montreal on it it's awesome thats where I'm from merci pour mon chandail

Was a really great store and I used to shop here often because prices are reasonable and staff are nice. Unfortunately they permanently closed their changerooms and do not offer a refund on purchased clothes. If you like something but are not sure if it fits, you have to buy it and take it home to try it on, if it doesn’t you can return it for exchange only but then you have to take the new clothes home to try them on. If those don’t fit you are out of luck.

The place offers a great shopping experience especially to those that like exploring thrift stores just like me. I've also been at various clothing stores before but thrift stores have this charm and you can definitely find super quality items here. You just have to be patient (and fast). The items were properly arranged and the place was clean too. You would definitely have a great purchase here!

It was surprising that they have a lot of men's clothes available since we were expecting to find several women's clothes. I got a few shirt for my brother who don't like shopping and was using the same old clothes for long time now. He liked all the shirts I bought him so I'm glad I went here with my friend.

The sales associate at very nice, but no one should have to work under the conditions they do. There is absolutely no ventilation in this store. All you smell is sour smelling clothes and sweat. I almost vomited. There should be so sort of regulation in this work place to be able to at least breath in this building. Maybe open the front and cack door. I think that would help a lot.

Not sure why the cashier guy feels the need to run up to the door and block it every time someone walks by to pay for the garbage they sell here

The workers are polite and helpful and know what the store has for inventory. Not a bad place for many household needs. Hi quality low prices are what we need in the retail business.

Nice selections of second hand items my bestfriend found a very nice gown that she paid a taylor to have alteration of it to fit her, which turn very nice.

After being at another place, entering this store I immediately noticed how well organized it was. It was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly. I do not know how the prices compare but certainly there were some good deals to be had.

Love the place. Staff most friendly, superb prices, good quality items. We will return to look for unique treasures too LCA

One of my favorite thrift stores. Sadly that was my second time being there this year. Last year I felt better and must have went 5 times over the summer.
I would have given them a 5 out of 5 but I noticed a 15 to 20 % hike on most items.
I'll still be going back

Okay store.nothing too special or crazy.okay prices, not the best.has a parking lot which is nice but not a ton of selection because it is a smaller store.i find the salvation army on 50th street is way better.

Prices are often too high. Especially on homeware and furniture. I don't understand because I'd buy way more if the prices were better. Sometimes however, you can find some cool stuff!

First and last time, will never donate or shop here, very bad experienced. Not kids friendly. I was looking to buy some toys with my one year old kid around not making any mess, (I always keep an eyes on my child) Toys section was so poor, the asian lady staff came and told me for safety reason, they’re not letting kids around in toy area. Please clean up (my kid didn’t do any mess!) I was out immediately even I just came in a shop for a few minuets, get in a car and write this review) Very disappointed for unfriendly staffs. The one at the counter was nice though. Will never come back again.

The parking lot is under construction so there's very little parking the isles are to close together and someone ramed my wife with a cart so we are not to happy with this place

I sadly was pulled away before finishing my shopping but there was a great selection, especially mens and womans clothing. The prices were fair and the quality was great. I'll be back!

Can find some nice items to purchase but the prices can be really high on a lot of items. Staff can be a bit prickly too.

An small store where the emphasis is on used clothing. The prices vary so it pays to browse. They do employ some "unemployables" so be patient and friendly with the staff

Very very limited parking, so time your visit for nonpeak hours/days. Drop-off of donations is quick and easy with a box located inside, close to the front door. Prices are affordable, selection is varied (though popular items may sell fast). When you donate, you are provided with a coupon for use when making future purchases.

Just your standard issue thrift store - mediocre selection, same expensive prices like anywhere else. I wouldn't recommend shopping here - or at any of the thrift stores in town for that matter - unless you don't mind enabling what's tantamount like a gradual suicide. I mean, fellas, I know online shopping and resellers have done a lot of damage, but at least try to live up to the idea of a THRIFT store, y'know? Just saying.

I always enjoy a walk through a good thrift store and this store is always enjoyable. There's something old and something new. There will be an item that brings back a memory. To bad the prices weren't the same as way back then lol. Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable to spend some time shopping

Pretty mediocre clothing selection. Better off going to value village. Shocking how much they charge for speakers too since they get everything they sell for free.

Way way way too expensive. It's sort of sad when you can't afford to shop at the salvation army.they have raised their prices so much that it's not worth shopping here. It's a shame.

I'd like to give them a chance but thru the many years I have always found them to be over priced considering the items are all by donation. And it's no secret that they are not supporters of the LGBTQ2+ community for that reason a hundred thumbs down

Attempted to buy a two-DVD movie set (The Doors) and they wanted to charge me $8! One DVD is $3, how the hell do you guys get off charging $8!? Sheisters

This was my first thrift shopping experience so I went with little to no expectations and came out feeling like I went on a treasure hunt. The best part of the hunt was I found some treasure pieces. I'm happy I didn't allowed my misconceptions about thrift shopping to keep me from visiting the store. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that everything was labeled and in sections to make shopping by size and gender easier. I would definitely visit this outlet again.
