Lots of fun…gets very busy. But has been around for a long time and everyone knows it’s a great place to be. Got to try the patio …hard to get a table but so worth it!

Fantastic UK style pub. Great food and the wait staff was professional. Great atmosphere for sports and families.

I’m telling you that $22 Christmas turkey feature is the best meal you’ll get outside of your mother’s house on Christmas.

First time back since COVID. I'd forgotten how good and reasonably priced the food is. Service was great.

Best place in Calgary hands down. Food is good, drinks are good. Atmosphere is sick and the music is killer

Side note: Ignore the FREEDUMBS its not like they ever frequented a place that has pride colours painted on there tables.

English Style pub for anyone missing home! Order at the bar, pop yourself into a booth and listen to some 2000's hits for a bit of nostalgia.

Always get very uncomfortable vibes from this place. Very high concentration of quadruple-boosted pro vax-pass extreme leftist wokies with blue, green, purple, or other chemically altered hair. It literally makes my skin crawl. Calgary's worst pub, in my oppinion. I will always recall this pub as one of Calgary's most extreme corporate vax pass pushers, and will actively avoid it for the rest of my life. Explicitly anti-freedom. Avoid.

On dec 12 12: 22 the broccoli and cheddar soup was incredibly delicious. The bartender was so amazing and the server was a great joy to chat with.

A Calgary classic dive! An easy spot to pop in for a pint. Great for catching up with friends or attending their regular events. The best patios on 17th!

Menu is well marked with vegan (few but reasonable options that make a full meal) and gluten free. The Shepard's pie is a favorite for my celiac family members.

It's the Ship! I love that there is a place where neither a 20-year-old, nor a 60-year-old would feel out of place.

I'm from Ontario and I only wish we had a pub like this one. The atmosphere is homey and genuine, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food tastes like homemade. If you're from Calgary or just visiting, I highly recommend this place as your next watering hole. Try the brunch, they serve it hot and fresh until 2 pm. How about that!

This is a fun bar, my friends and I arrived on a Friday at 6pm and stayed until about 11 30. We had some shots and drinks and snacks. I love the atmosphere and it seems to usually be quite busy which always makes a bar a bit better. The food was alright, nothing special. I think the main attraction is the atmosphere.

The rudest staff and manager I have experienced in my entire life.on two separate occassions I have had very negative experiences with staff that work here.when escalated to the manager he was condescending, belittling and discriminatory.

For over 30 years, this pub has been the place to grieve, celebrate and cheer. Full 20 ounce pints, unlike its competition, with excellent service, food and prices. The Ship is the best of Calgary.
