The Steakout

Ordered 5 smoked sandwich meal with potato salad and Cole slaw. $88.00. The meat was terrible. It was so tough you couldn't bite the sandwich. Took the meat out of bread still tough. Not worth eating. Potato salad tasteless. Cole slaw was fine. Couldn't believe the change is the quality from so good to so poor. Won't be stopping there again.

This place used to be my favorite pizza place but after last nights inedible pizzas never again. I ordered 2 pizzas for takeout and they were by far the worst pizzas I can ever recall having. It was overdone, not sure if the yellow stuff was actual cheese, whatever it was it was awful. The meat on the meatlovers was not easily identifiable. I would have taken them back had I been closer, but did eat two pieces in hopes the first was an outlier but the second was just as bad. I am not in the habit of complaining or posting reviews but this was truly exceptionally bad - would rate it a minus star if I could. All I can say is never again.

Disclaimer here: I would like to give 4.5 stars. Read on…the crust is good. The toppings are generous and don’t even bother asking for extra cheese because they pile it on- I’m not kidding! My one and only minor complaint is that there wasn’t nearly enough sauce on it and I requested extra! It’s actually less than what I would expect if I ordered a regular amount. Other than that small thing it’s absolutely stellar quality pizza. I’ve been going there in person) in the pub) to eat their pizza for a couple decades now. Keep up the good work.

Friendly service and excellent food.i recommend to my family and friends even bring my date over

The pizza had lots of cheese and the crust was good, however I didn't think the quality of the meat was very good considering the price of the pizza; I got two 12" pizzas and it was $60.

The restaurant is huge, but it's old and the dated which subtracts from the atmosphere.

Me and my husband decided to dine here first the first time. We ordered Steak & Spaghetti and Steak and Ribs. Food were okay, the steak has flavor but it’s dry, spaghetti is bland. Food was not the best but it’s okay to be honest except for the server. Their server Sharon was very loud and unprofessional, when we got our bill my husband gave a tip, then she pointed out with a very loud voice saying that our tip was not even 10% she did embarassed us. Our tip should be 10% but then I later found out as soon as I got home that she charge us for the coffee that we did not even order.

I called the restaurant and the guy on the phone was very nice. I told them we were charged for coffee, he told me he is going to refund me if I come back to their restaurant which is never gonna happen. Smh.

I’ll never gonna recommend this place.

The food was really good and worth the visit. The staff was very kind and prompt. Would visit again.

The food here is A LOT better than you would expect. Definitely worth checking out if you’re hungry and you’re in the area.

When we sat down and got our menus, which are just cheap pamphlets, the first thing to strike me was the prices. Pricing is comparable to a Boston Pizza. The food was nowhere near that standard, though. We waited a long time for our food and, when it finally got there, the portions were small, and the food was mediocre. My burger looked like someone threw a tablespoon of meat on a grill haphazardly, and they seemingly forgot that I ordered no tomatoes (an order, which I confirmed with the waiter twice). When all was said and done, we asked for the bills. The waiter brought us one bill, and they had to call someone to figure out how to split the bill. Once we finally got all our separate bills, I noticed that I had been charged 3.25 for my glass of water.
As we left, my entire group agreed "never again"

Went for dinner, service was friendly and fast. Wife had a rice dish and I had steak, both dishes came our cooked perfectly. It was not overly busy, so it made for a nice atmosphere to sit and talk. Also ordered one of their pan pizzas, which never disappoint. Overheard that they will be renovating, which will make it more enjoyable for our future visits.

My daughter and I wanted a steak sand for lunch so we went to Steak Out today. My steak was so tough that I sent it back and ordered a club house. It filled the space. My daughter loves beef and persevered with her steak. At one point I asked her if she needed a bigger knife. All the staff were very nice and tried to take care of us. I think it was maybe an owner who brought my 11 month old grand son a complimentary plate of fries, that was appreciated. They really want to do a good job but the food is not what it used to be.

Used to be a great place years ago. Saturday afternoon and it was dead.
The place smells old and its really looking rundown. Too bad, I used to love their smoked meat sandwich. But not with the smell of grease and just that rundown vibe.

Been going there for years was very good. Now it’s like eating seniors food. Tried their pasta. Very bland. If you like plan foods go ahead if you don’t wanna try it.

Their service could be improved

The Rueben sandwich was amazing, pizza was good, french onion soup was so bad that it was inedible, simply gross! My advice is to take it off your menu! Stick to what you do well!

Dirty stinky place. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It’s hard times. I buy a Groupon for 40$ for four meals. I get to the place and the order is 45 and change for chicken Tortellini, order or fries and gravy and a chefs salad. I figure this is will feed four people just fine. I get to the smelly gross dirty Restaurant and I say I am there for pick up. The woman says I dunno if we do this anymore. K? I just bought the the thing two days ago. So she goes back n asks the guy in the back yep its ok so comes back and then goes back in and says I have to get four meals because this what the deal says. The deal said that you could not buy appies on the $40. As far as I’m concerned fries and gravy is a meal for some people. And why not? It s cost 10$. They wanted me to buy more food when it was already more than enough food for four and the fries and gravy alone cost more than it would have been worth! I walked out with out my food. Stay away from this nasty place.

Great pizza, but they seldomly get the order right and don’t follow instructions. I can’t say how many times I order from here and literally repeat instructions several times and they still screw up.

The 1st time I ordered takeout from the steakout, the food was absolutely delicious. I posted a picture, the BLTC with poutine. The 2nd time I came here, It wasn't as great as the 1st time, I figured they must have a different chef but overall the food was still pretty good. I did order a different sandwich, which was the triple Decker clubhouse. See the pic i posted, very filling and huge.

The owner is super friendly and the place was clean and well kept. I definitely plan on returning And I would recommend this place if you need a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting.

My takeout food was ready pretty quick so I didn't have to wait long at all.

The menu has a lot of options such as pizza, appetizers, soups and greens, Homestyle pasta, fresh sandwiches, deli smoked meat sandwiches, Steaks and ribs, etc.

This is a great place to bring your families to that's for sure.

Food is beyond good. How pizza was, and should be. If you remember back in the day how cheese used to stretch, pizza came hot, crust was thick and delicious.then try them.
If you're dining in, come as you are as it's pretty casual.

Nothing good to say at all. Rundown dirty restaurant with horrible food and atmosphere. EVERYTHING was bland, not fresh and some items tasted like it’s been frozen too long and have gone bad. You can clearly taste freezer burn and microwaved texture in some dishes. Whoever was cooking clearly had zero food training. Nothing good at all.
Oh wait, they are good at charging like a high end restaurant for can/tv dinner quality food.
