Came in to drop of a simple package nothing more. All I needed was the tracking receipt. Instead of getting it like a normal customer transaction the lady at front started to argue with me, regardless of my needs and what I needed. She then lied that the receipt machine was not working and she needed time to fix it. Imagine being this low of a person that you need to lie about a simple thing, imagine how lazy you have to be do a simple request.

She then helped another customer which took roughly 5-7 minutes which I was fine with but to top it off, she printed a tracking receipt for the other customer. Imagine lying and wasting someone’s time like this. Absolutely avoid at all costs. If you like being treated like dirt and lied to go straight ahead. What’s even more hilarious is that when a customer was talking about something she would mutter along things that were in no relation to what the customer said. Imagine being so fake that in order to reply to a customers conversation you just make stuff up non related to it, talk about being not actually caring about customers.

And I see that you reply to people all the time. If this one does get a reply I honestly want to tell the front lady to get a grip and stop working there if it’s really that hard. I asked for a simple thing that should not be a problem for a postal store. No I do not want tracking sent to my phone via text. I wanted a simple tracking receipt that any normal postage service can easily provide. Stop doing business with these people if this is how you are treated. Absolutely the worst experience in my life related to shipping services.

Rude owner. Each time I've gone here I've felt to be an inconvenience to the owner, as if doing his job is too much to ask. Will not come back.

Never opens at 9 am. I have come the second time at 9 and no lights are on, the door is closed. Hard to get to anyone to answer the phone. Surya is helpful but timings should be consistent.

This was by far the best customer service experience I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of when it comes to shipping. Surya was incredibly helpful polite and appreciative of my business. I will never go elsewhere and only wish I'd known about him sooner!

I returned an Amazon item with this courier at this branch and the cashier called Surya ensured that this is how they process it and I shouldnt worry abt anything! Now after a month Amazon refuses to return my 300 CAD saying UPS hasnt delivered!
What's even more frustrating is that now UPS refuses to take responsibility for this mess! Theu have lost me my money, my time and for sure my business!

I have been to many UPS stores and I have to say Surya runs a tight ship! Most locations are dirty or cluttered and are not welcoming. Store 36 is clean and well organized. This location is not super close to me but it's worth the time to drive here when I need to ship something with UPS.

My last two UPS shipments, during which I was home all day:
1. "Customer not available for delivery, package immediately returned to seller. " - No second attempt, not to mention that no one actually attempted (per my phone records) to buzz my apartment to deliver it in the first place and no notice was left.
2. No delivery attempt actually made, no second attempt, no notice left.

The shipment was sent back even when inhad informed earlier that I will be collecting the package. There was no cooperation or courtesy shown towards me and I was not given any details on my shipment.
I still don't know where my shipment is as the site shows it as delivered and store tells me that they don't have it. Customer support is telling that shipment is getting sent back to the shipper.
Would not recommend using UPS

Even though there are many UPS Stores in Calgary, I always choose the one at 1500 14th Street SW. The reason is simple, Surya Visvanatha. I have been sending boxes and envelopes worldwide, and his service is always the same, excellent. He recommends the best option for each case and always lends a helping piece of advice if he sees my sending a parcel/envelope needs it. No matter if the service is in Canada, Europe or Latin America. It always delivers excellent quality service. Thank you Surya!

Absolutely useless store. Paid >$100 to have a package expedited to Montreal. It sat at the store for a week and didn't move. When it finally did move, the staff at the store had selected the Ground option even though I'd paid for expedited. Staff is incredibly slow. Wasted >2 hours and package ended up having to be returned because of the store's negligence in not shipping it out on time and not selecting the method I'd paid for.

I recently shipped two pairs of sneakers through this UPS store to Stock X (they use UPS for their shipping to verify authenticity). I was basically rushed out the door because I was unable to find the correct packaging for the two sneaker boxes and was told they would be put into bags so that you couldn’t see what was being shipped. I received an email from Stock X today with attached pictures of the damaged shoe boxes that were shipped completely exposed with a label taped to them. Stock X has now charged me a 15% penalty of each shipment because these guys couldn’t do their job! Wondering if they would ship a MacBook bare box or anything else clearly identifying what’s in the box without packaging!? Unreal…. Now the fun starts with a damaged goods claim. Stay clear of this place! I’ll never step foot in there again after this service…

I was at UPS Store few day ago to return my package from Lenovo. There were still labels for original shipping to me. I printed my new label for return and bring package and label to store. Surya took care of everything. I was in and 2 minutes. Great service.

These two are the very best! They accommodated my larger boxes even though they take up some room. I have nothing but the Best service every-time I’m in the location, which a few times a week! Will come back time and time again!

Wow! I would never give them any stars they deserve negative stars. It's not an option to leave zero or less stars so I've left the least possible.

The absolute incompetence of the staff at this location is reason enough to stay far far far away. I went in on two seperate occasions and was.quoted $100 $1 per piece on my job. I was warned it was not a precise quote. So I had a very important rush job for a local client and these people at UPS Store manager to completely undermine my work and efforts.

After leaving the job for print more than 24 hours later I'm contacted and informed that the cost will be over $250. More than 2.5x the price originally estimated.

There were no changes to the job. They were left a hard copy sample of the exact job from the beginning to quote from. Never were there any misunderstandings it changed on either parties part.

There are thousands of printers to use in Calgary and your better off to quit your job and jump off a bridge than to trust these people to handle your important work for your customers and clients.

JUST ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ALL COST!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

As a small business owner, this is my favored shipping store. On several occasions during COVID19, Suyra and his wife have gone above and beyond to assist me with my business logistics. As someone who never posts reviews, my decision to post today reflects on TRUE appreciation for the customer service offered here. I STRONGLY recommend this location.

Customer service at it's finest! Although the delivery person came to my apartment building, they didn't call or buzz me, to notify that they were there and left, deciding to just drop off my parcel at the UPS Store #36 at 1500 14th St. SW and leave me a notice. I am a housebound woman who is ill, and fretted about how I was going to get my parcel re-delivered to my home as I cannot go out. I emailed Surya, the Owner/Operator of the UPS Store #36, and explained the situation. What a wonderful, caring and professional person Surya is, and he spent a great deal of time calming me down, and reassuring me that my parcel would be re-delivered without fail. Surya went above and beyond the call of duty to get my parcel re-delivered and I am very grateful. Thank you so much Surya!

Was ripped off at this store, they increased the width of my package in the form, making it double the price to ship. They claimed there was nothing they could do, even the package was sitting in the store. Won't be back. Ever. And will complain to head office.

I had a poor customer experience here. The man at the desk barely acknowledged my issue and wouldn't even look at me. Clearly he had a long day and didn't want to deal with my return issue. I literally walked to another delivery service right after he turned me away and they acknowledged and dealt with my issue right away with no problems.

Very poor customer service. Prior to leaving this negative review I spoke with the owner. Who says they don't look at the or reply to reviews. Because I had previously left a negative review and it has since been deleted. So I wanted to speak with him about it.

The poor experience I had was waiting for a urgent delivery of dog food. UPS assured me it would be at this access point prior to closing around 645pm.

I came in around 615pm told him my name and the situation and that I was waiting for my order. While I was in his store, he refused the package I was waiting for and proceeded to lie to me about nothing coming, as I watched the UPS driver drive away from this store.

I wanted to speak with the owner about my deleted review and he was very rude and dismissive today about the subject. So this is why I am leaving another bad review.

I hope UPS takes the store away.

Reread my comments. I never stated I left a review yesterday. I said I previously left a review. And you told me to face today that you don't read or respond to reviews. I even had to pull out my phone and question you on this. You're deceitful. You saying "I dunno, we don't read reviews" while burying your face in the computer and not making eye contact, yes, that is rude and dismissive. And to add insult to this, you lied again on the phone today with me when I asked about a package that should be there. You said it wasn't. I tracked it and it was, I called back and your response was "oh". So I hope this bad review stays up for as long as you run this store.

Ps. My times were generic, whether it was 6pm or 630pm the day I waited. I waited for half an hour and then you lied about what was coming into your store.

You can't get better customer service than this! I came in looking for a box to ship an awkwardly shaped return to Amazon. I couldn't find appropriate packaging at Canada Post, where the package was to be shipped, so I came to UPS to see if they had anything.

Even though I couldn't ship through UPS, the wonderful staff of the 14th St SW location packaged my items for me and even provided a sleeve for my shipping label. They've definitely gained a loyal customer now!

Great experience, I needed a manual for a course I am taking printed and Sumita took care of everything and greeted me with excellent customer service. She mentioned other printing offers without being pushy, she was anticipating my needs for when I complete my course. Will absolutely be making this my go to print shop from here on out.
