Absolutely lazy staff and cheap store with terrible management. Employee on her phone talking with partner while customer waiting in line. Asked for tape, but too bad. Tape is to be purchased. Cannot use their tape for taping an Amazon slip onto the package. Asked for adhesive slips… too bad, there’s a limit on how many they can give out per customer (they don’t even buy them… they’re from Canada post!) Manager rolls in late while employees still on their phones and customers in line. Asked staff to take scrap paper and put it in the recycle on the other side of counter and she points to the one near the door sayin “there’s one over there” I mean how lazy can you be? ! You can’t just take the paper from me and throw it in the bin by YOUR FOOT? ! Yes you might say I am lazy for complaining about having to walk and throw paper near the door when I am by the counter already, but where the heck is the customer service? ! Terrible location to visit and I dread coming here every time. I will definitely be trying to stay away from this location and it’s cheap lazy management and employees.
Unfriendly service. I went to drop off a prepaid return, but didn’t realize the piece of paper with the barcode had to be on the box. I thought perhaps they need to scan it, and something else will be printed out on their end/etc.and I was told “next time have it all ready”. Everything was in the box and all I had left to do was to tape that piece of paper on the box. Unnecessary comment, they seemed quite upset I had to borrow 3 strips of tape.
If you want your package but you are too busy, don't use UPS, unreliable service. 1- their customers service is closed on weekend. Oh snap! You work weekdays, free on weekends! Oh well, they can't help you when you free. Their access point will hangup on you if you call them about your package.
2- worker at ups store and access point cannot help you find your package, what they can do is exactly what you could do online for yourself.
3- unexpected fees, did you think it was your final price? Nope, customers are wrong, "to get your package, this fee must be pay" fee that isn't relevant to delivery service! Oops, donate your money
4- where is your package? Oh they don't know, could be at access point, inside delivery van, no updates.
5- hold your package for 5 business days and sends it back to sender because no one is home to receive without a signature. Can't have it send to access point because you have no account. Can't call them because they closed on your free time (weekends)
6- based on my recent experience. One change they should make is have access point or ups store workers be able to change or update anything to your package, they are the most relevant locally, open on weekends for those who need to work on weekdays to pay bills. I tried getting my package at an access point, so I can pick it up on weekend but package no where to be found.it will be useless since I leave for work on Monday, will be away for 21 days. Canada post is the way to go.
I used to come to this location quite often. Today I went to get a quote for the shipping. They are renovating the store. The owner is not willing to do anything to help. She said if I can bring the package and she can send it out today otherwise she is not providing any quote because it’s cold outside.
I would give ZERO star if i could…just printed 3 pages for $7.70! They charged me $5 to access their email to print me a document i emailed them! I am a believer/supporter of charging for service provided BUT $5 for printing a document from ur ups email box! Unreal! Pathetic shameful n a ripoff! Give ur head a shake owner! I demand UPS as a company to look at this as fraud
All other staff is good there one her name billraj or something like this shes so rude she have to work in a kitchen. There was plate of Indian food on the disk eating front of the customer with no respect. By the way i left without send my package to usa. I'll other ups
This is one of the disgusting UPS I've seen as of today They charge us for a printing copy, which is legitimate. But apart from that, they are charging 4 to 5$ as a computer processing fee. Heckin, where these people are from?
Worst UPS store in entire calgary. They charge $7 for printing the prepaid label. WoW. They asked, do you have a tape to attach the printed label which they will print for $5 bucks and $2 for a tape being used. Hilarious service. Don’t go to this UPS store at all as they have worst customer service. The front desk associate, we don’t mind, you can go to any other UPS store.
I came here because I had a package rerouted as my Saturday delivery didn’t come through before my travel to Alberta. So yes, I paid 200+ and waited until the next Thursday because I got the notification that my package “was ready for pick up. ”
I come in on February 2 around 10: 30AM and the lady at the counter asked for my tracking # and name. She checks less than 1 minute and did NOT go through all the packages that were awaiting pick up and told me “it’s not here. ” I kept telling her that I was informed that it was here, but she wouldn’t budge. I told her it should be one of the medium boxes and she played like she couldn’t be bothered. Told me that it’s still with the driver. To come back tomorrow. (Friday)
That all those packages she’s SURE have been there for awhile. On the UPS app, it showed when it was received at their location so I asked her if she was there on Wednesday 14: 50 and she said no.
So I told her to check again.
All of a sudden “oh yeah it’s here. I couldn’t see because of the label. Thank you for not giving up. ”
Um, it’s not my job to CONVINCE you to do your job.
I go to another store around the plaza looking distraught and told a worker what happened, and was told she got the similar treatment.
Whoever runs this place, this is the kind of people running your store.
Have you ever heard UPS charge service fee? The lady asked $10 for service fee because she packed for me! And she sold me a used box with other person confidential information for $10!
