What a gem of a place. Rooms are super affordable, clean and comfortable. There's plenty of activities and lots of place to sit and just watch the world go by. The spa is clean and wonderful. The restaurants offer plenty of options for delicious high quality affordable food.
We had lunch at the corner cafe Daisy Mc Beans that also serves Ice cream and Pies. Sandwiches were very good as was the soup. Young staff did very well, super pleasant people. Everything made fresh so you have to wait a little bit, we were in no hurry. I would recommend this location
What a great little village! An excellent space for a relaxing weekend getaway. It's obvious a lot of work goes into making this roadside hamlet a charming location, with several adorable small businesses and a teeny, tiny park with a gazebo and water feature.
A great mix of restaurants, local crafts, women's clothing and shoe stores along with a hotel is located a short drive from.the south east shore of the lake. This cluster of interesting shops is less than an hour between Edmonton and Red Deer and makes for a great day trip.
We have never heard of pigeon lake but a nights stay at the inn made us converts and we are now looking to buy a cabin. What an incredible village center. We tried three restaurants, the grocery store and liquor store and suffice to say, we loved them all. We will hopefully soon join the beach life and the village will be a regular part of life for us!
The Village is a really nice place.lots of places to shop. Great place for the kids there is an ice cream parlor delicious pizzas a great bakery and much more. I really enjoyed the Village.
Stopped in while camping in the area. Nice little spot for a day visit with plenty of little shops in the area. Great welcoming community with fun atmosphere.
I went to the grocery store in the village. It was handy, clean, and reasonably priced. I also went to one of the gift shops. It was amazing to see such diverse things available in rural areas.
The village is an adorable starshallow like place. It’s missing some affordable food options but other then that it’s a great place. It’s made even better when they are hosting an event.
A favourite rest stop for any travellers to pigeon lake. Great ice cream, cute shops and a welcoming picnic area with fountain pond make this a must see for anyone vacationing in the area.
We frequently take a drive out to Pigeon Lake where we pick up a sandwich and a coffee at the petro canada station. The people who have the garage are extremely nice and welcoming and the coffee is some of the best I have ever had!
What an incredible treasure to find in Alberta. Lunch was very, very good. Went for dessert and ice cream after to a cute little shop there. Clothing store had clothes on sale and even regular priced items were reasonable. Great selection. Emporium has to be seen to be believed. This is a must do trip!
Really small and quaint little village! The whole middle section between the roads is a smoking section, which was kind of disappointing because it was this beautiful garden space that would be nice to visit in. Everyone was so friendly and kind. We'll definitely be camping in this area in the future. Also some really cute stores, especially if you like trinkets and antiques.
Such a nice little resort community, ate at the Chef N restaurant and had probably the best burger I've ever ate. The grocery store is also amazing and really well stocked, very family friendly place.will definitely be back!
It was fun and excited! Very beautiful place to spend a couple of days. I would expect more friendly people for us that we spend our money and our time there. I missed only this.the friendly people. "Smile people it doesn't cost anything to give a heart smile! "
My wife and I can here to sit down for dinner for our 2nd anniversary. The staff were polite, the food was absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to be able to come back and try the other menu items.
Like the small town feel and the grocery store is usually well stocked. The restaurant "Chef'N" is busy, a sure sign of good food and after dinner there. I guarantee you it is.
A lovely winter afternoon at the village with a horse drawn wagon ride followed by coffee and goodies at Daisy McBeans, and shopping in the great shops. Lots of unique items for last minute shoppers! Always a pleasure!
The best l can say is that it was Fantastic and all the staff, helpers etc were also fantastic. Everything was clean and very beautiful. Will definitely return.
A really nice cozy place for a get away. My wife and I have been there in summer and winter and it's a nice little get away that's only an hour away. We've stayed in the Inn and the Condo's that they offer. The businesses there are great small town stores all within walking distance. The grocery store only 100 meters away that carries everything makes things easier as well. The staff at the spa and Inn are great and always helpful. We will definitely be back!
The perfect getaway. Always a welcoming fun and friendly environment. A great place to meet new people, and share warm summer weekends and vacations. It's also a safe location to bring children of all ages. The lots are reasonably priced, and
What a great place. I went shopping for a gift at the Village Emporium which is filled with lovely home, garden and kitchen accesories and I got some groceries for my Mom who lives in the condos right beside the Village. A friendly, well run option and it's close to all amenities. A great retirement community ewpcially if you don't want to live in town. Oh and should I mention, GAS is always cheaper at the Village!
