Recently I purchased several gift cards via the drive thru. This took a while as there was a trainee and, unfortunately, numerous issues with the cards (some were defective) and consequently a long line up afterwards. I still had to return the next day to correct the errors. I was treated so very kindly and apologetically and my cards were all corrected. For my troubles I was given a free hot chocolate and a delicious muffin, which was very unexpected. I was sorry myself that I should not have used the drive thru for the initial transaction but assured that it was fine to do so. Lovely, hard working staff at Avenida, which I have frequented for many years, who all know the meaning of excellent customer service! Thank you for correcting the problem and making my day too!

The food was very good, lots of selection that made the whole family happy. The young man who took our order was polite and quick and did a great job.

After having my order screwed up for the 20th time this year I’m finally fed up and speaking out.

Their drive thru has zero priority on accuracy. Don’t bother asking for any sauce on a sandwich as they will just make it without it regardless.

The Tim’s 2 blocks away (in 7-11) will never screw up your order, so I don’t understand why this location struggles so badly.

Avoid this location.

Other complaint: they prioritize drive thru so highly that there’s no point in going inside to order. You’ll watch the entire line of cars clear before you get you food.

Stopped for lunch inside end of February; floors were dirty with leftover food; tables were not wiped and had to ask attendant to clean them; upholstered benches were ripped hampering seating;
a below standard experience and very disappointed.

This place has really gone down hill. Can't even get a simple order right. Crispy chicken sandwich that had no tomatoe. Asked for a cold brew but it's just coffee on ice. All the Tim's I visit these days including this one just can't get anything right anymore. What a shame.

Staff is friendly and food is okay but they never have the soup that's on-line or on the board. Bowls are Luke warm at best. And this location needs an upgrade! The dine in booths are all cracked and uncomfortable.

I really like this place and come very frequent But today I ordered an ice caramel latte and there is no ice inside. Apparently it tastes like the hot caramel latte with some water and ice. The milk on the bottom is even still warm. Itseems to be someone make a hot one by mistake and they just add water and ice inside to cool it down. Really disappointed this time

I loved my extra cup with my coffee, but now with the extra 10 cents and the increased cost for a cup of coffee, I think I will be making my own coffee at home.
After all, Tim is not like what they used before.

Lots of grounds at the bottom of my coffee and I had to put my sandwich together myself cause it was smashed. Not a great start to the morning lol

I today around 10: 40am give the order. 1 medium steeped tea & 1 plan bagel butter double toasted, coffee is good but, give me another bagel something wrong beef sandwich…. Iam vegetarian, disgusting service…….

This location is by far the most effecient drive through & not to mention their current manager (thank you Mel!) is very kind and caring. There was a mix up on our drive through order and she fixed it right away.

If you need a quick effecient drive through to hit up along macleod this place is a good go to, not to mention the interior dining area is always clean and tidy.

Few months ago I had a row as described below with this location. Would like to take a moment to shout out to the manager who reached out to apologize and rectify almost immediately afterwards. After a short break from here I took up the offer to return.

Would like to say that the service and training has massively improved here since said day and I look forward to grabbing my double doses of coffee from here.

Staff are always friendly and have a smile rocking.

While there still may be the odd time my coffees not proper (usually cause I change the size on em for various reasons lol) they are a lot more personable when approached about it and I can appreciate that.

The below story has been left up by the managers request and I’ve decided on my own behalf to recognize the improvement at this location on my own behalf after 2-3 months of returning.

So frustrated. I drive past 2 gas station Tim’s and 15 min out of my way for this location. I have for about 3-4 months. They know me, my dogs, my wife, kids and car I drive to the point they know who’s coffee is who’s.

Today I went at 7: 35 am ordered same thing I always do but for just me. Get back home they forgot egg on the English Muffin. So I drove back thinking sure it happens but when I requested my whole order be replaced as it’s 15 min drive home never mind the first trip I’d already taken (order FYI totalling 9$) it took them over 20 min to contact a manger. Meanwhile almost 15-17 ppl are lined up while 7-9 employees are all trying to figure out who screwed up my order, leaving me to defend myself verbally to people who stated to me “ He’s Holding Me /us Up” & “ I ordered using mobile why is this taking forever? ” making me feel like it’s a crime that I’m upset I want fresh food cooked properly and served at same time.

They were also more concerned about retrieving the old bacon from the other muffin, then replacing anything. Knowing they were going to be forced to throw away the food and bacon I wanted to keep it for the new Sandwich in exchange for my troubles. Seemed fair to me, With gas prices and having driven 4X to get this right.

It took just under a hour for me to get a Breakfast combo today and old bacon i want to eat is the priority fo them?

I’ve also gone to this location up to 25 min before closing time to discover them closed more than once.

Maybe this is why people turn to Starbucks? I don’t think I’ll be back after today’s experience. To see the amount of trouble they went through to save 9$ is disgusting to me as I was a cook for 15 years.

If I’d been on shift I’d prob have been fired for excessive break time usage.

I swear this is my least favourite Tim hortons. They seem to always run out of food and every time I come there in the mornings, there’s never any hash browns!
I’ve only had a couple good experiences with the staff but the rest are cold and unwelcoming, basically throwing my food at me without saying a word. Today was my last straw coming to this location. I’d rather drive the extra distance to get to another.

Would give negative stars if possible. This place has horrible service. Makes up their own hours for the dinning room. Two days in a row around 6: 30 pm walked in just to discover there were no donuts left. Staff didn't even see me standing waiting to order after about 5 mins. I for an unknown reason keep giving this location chance after chance given that I live near by. Mistakes keep being made on my part. If you can avoid at all costs.

Definitely not the best in the city. Unfortunately it's on my way to work, but I will go out of my way to avoid this, location in the future. They don't listen at the drive through. Twice now they've omitted the last order on my drive through, and I don't find out until I get to the window. "oh, they didn't charge you for - insert last item ordered". Frustrating.

Terribly slow service all the time now. Maybe severely understaffed. But it's awful. Be prepared to wait a long time just to order

T begal they never put egg inside it when i called them they said they will replace it next morning i went there in the morning and the same lady served me begal in the drive through next day said i never seen you.you never ordered begal.

Awful for a Tim's. Drive through wasn't working, but no signage, they were just telling people when you got to the window. Went inside and waited for over 10 minutes to get served, then waited another 5 to be told the decaf was going to be another 5. Will visit another location next time.

Worst experience. Untrained staff. Giving cold tea and no bagels. Paid online, asked for refund/cancel and they are not able to do it. Worst experience ever.

Nice fast service, but they are often low or out of some treats (this isn’t always a bad thing though…. It means their stock is refilled with fresh stuff!). The parking lot is crowded as there are lots of small shops to navigate around. Watch the traffic signs upon exit if the drive thru as well as the signs to exit the promenade- these seem to change fairly frequently and give other lanes the right of way!

Slow drive thru all the time. One time I was meeting up with a online date for a social distance walk through Fish Creek Park. We went to grab coffee before hand and couldn't go in to get drinks (we'd tried first) I'd assume the actual restaurant was closed for covid. So we went in our seperate cars through drive through. I said I wanted to pay for his drink. Pay for the tea for the guy behind me. (He was most definitely behind me) They charged me on a separate transaction. On a whole tangent at the end of our walk, I was like it's kind of rude you didn't thank me when I paid for your drink. In a joking way. He then said that he paid for his own drink. So if you're one of those nice people that buys drinks for the people behind you, don't do that here.

Service was the best. They were low or did not have some treats. That was OK, lots of alternatives.
Staff are friendly, always smiling.
One big improvement is that I could hear the staff taking our order. Voice was clear. Staff members are attentive.
A few outdoor tables.
Until the next restaurant ban is lifted you can walk up to the drive through window. The people were kept safe, as we were driving up to the turn to the window the Staff member on intercom asked us to wait.
GREAT SERVICE!
My tea was HOT. We each had a pb cookies. Lots of peanuts.

At this location there is a huge sign saying open for take out and drive through. When we arrived we watched as two people tried the door handle to enter- the door was locked, definitely not open for take out
It was 5pm, so not close to closing time whatsoever.
While we were placing our order, the first lady didn't understand our request. Two bacon farmers wrap, one with the hash brown on the side, and two coffees (2 cream 1 sugar)
The next gentleman worker who we spoke to said he was supposed to charge for the hash brown on the side. Uh, what?
He agreed do it it free "this once"
We paid for out food and drove home.
The wraps were literally half the size as they usually are.
How does this happen?

Quick and friendly service. The coffee was good and fresh muffins. Always clean. I just hope that customers will exit in the exit door not in the entrance door (which was clearly labeled). Geez some people just doesn’t care and never read safety instructions.

Tim hortons has a step to confirm your order with the restaurant before they charge you for your purchase. I place an order that has chicken strips on it just to arrive at this location and am told that they are not making any more chicken tonight as they are closing in the next hour. But they did manage to take my money for the chicken and of course there is no way to refund my purchase in any way shape or form without a supervisor on staff which they of course do not have. Then get a hasty explanation of this along with the fact that they can throw in other random items that are not the same cost of my original purchase instead.

If you do not have a product in stock do not let me place the order.
Just don't accept it, its that simple.

Should be ashamed of this level of service, wont be returning to this location. Charged $13 dollars and barely got any semblance of my order.

I order a chicken club sandwich. It was awesome. The entrance was large with room to social distance. The bathroom was clearly labeled for 1 person. The line-up and ordering was quick. The food hot. The exit clearly marked.
Too bad the $1 coffee sale was over.

Very disappointed past few months. They don't pay attention to orders.
Had a specialized sandwich. They caught there mistake as soon as I walked out. Then made another mistake. And the chicken is the strips on their new sandwich.out of the special chicken patties for the new chicken BBQ

Have gone a few times in the past year and almost each time something on the menu hasn't been available. More than once have I come at lunch to find that they suddenly don't serve lunch items? But you can still get soup? That coupled with unpleasant staff and unpredictable hours has definitely changed my purchasing habits.

Two stars only because they at least manage to stock doughnuts.

Go to this location alot because its 24rs. Tonight however we were approached at 11: 07 and were told that the drive through is only open passed 11pm. We were asked to leave. The door still states that it is open 24hrs. What gives!?

Fast service but loud workers.
Very distracting at times and can also be seen as disrespectful for patrons.
Tone down the yelling and the noise behind the counter and this would be a great restaurant.

You know, I like Tim's, but this Tim's is normally not the cleanest. And quite often it is really busy seating wise. Which is good for Tim's, not always for the customer.

Not the best visit. We repeated our order of the three Turkey clubs as well as a few other sandwiches at least three times. It took quite a while and then they only prepared one turkey club. Which meant we had to wait again until that order was complete and try and find somebody to pay for it. There was a very limited selection of donuts which we found strange for being right at the beginning of the lunch hour. Overall not a very great experience.
