I come here often because it's the most convient location on route to work, and I think that's about to end. I've worked in the service industry for a long time, so I'm not one to ever raise my voice at staff, but I will bring up when something isn't correct with my order, especially if I've paid for it. So I will never understand why most of the staff here are so incredibly rude. Especially in the drive through, where like others have mentioned, they're always trying to rush you away. If I owned or managed this location I'd honestly be ashamed of it.
This is one of my favorite Tim Hortons in the whole city! Good service very affordable and polite staff! Gets very busy in the mornings and around lunch but not very long wait times especially when your in the drive thru! If you want timmies and your on the Southside come to this one!
I use the drive thru on 51st avenue in Edmonton because it’s a convenient location for me. I always need to specify that they put cream cheese on both sides of the bun because they are so stingy with it otherwise. I also have to ask for lightly toasted because 9 out 10 times if I don’t specify that, then my bagel comes out burnt. If I’m ordering more than two bagel there will always be a mistake made. The preparation is usually sloppy. There is absolutely no care in the presentation of the food you are about to eat. There must be some sort of competition at the drive thru as to how fast they can move you along. I have my wallet in one hand while taking the food with the other and all the while they are rushing you away. They should have some consideration to give a few seconds to put your things together before you are back on the road. I was there again today and ordered chili and I was given a used spoon with what looked like dried noodles and stained lipstick on itI have decided that I will STOP going to this location because this one makes me gag! The issues of this location is a reflection of the management!
The absolute longest time in history to spend in a tim Hortons. I walked in with 0 greeting, and continued for 20 minutes to explain to the person at the counter what I wanted. I then proceeded to wait 10 more minutes for a terribly sweet iced cappuccino and 2 stale doughnuts. I will be damned if I ever spend 30 minutes in a Tim Hortons to recieve such subpar food.
Today was a really bad experience I order an habanero crispy wrap as always, first they gave me a wrong wrap and said that I order this one they refund me and charge again for the correct wrap (habanero crispy chicken wrap) but whe I received my order again the wrap doesn’t have chicken unfortunately is the third that they give me a wrong order and the lady was so angry all the time.
Ordering the breakfast bagels trying clearly trying to get one with sausage not bacon took 4 tries but ended up getting both and asking for mayo and didn't get any
I wouldn't even give this location 1 star. Staff are rude and very unprofessional. Went in for a coffee tonight at 10: 28pm after being on the road for a few hrs and stated that they were closed when the dine in option didn't close till 11pm and doors were still unlocked at this time when I walked in and spoke to a worker about needing a key for the facilities. Was declined service to grab a coffee and bathroom use within open scheduled time of the establishment. I would hope that management sees this to make necessary adjustments, in order to continue providing the standup service us Canadians, know to support and love for our favorite coffee stop
It was nice to have an employee teach a trainee on 2 iced coffee with 1 pump of cane sugar (I'm a diabetic) and my plain old fashioned donut. A native guy ahead of me said'" go easy on her she's new. " Lol I gave me my drinks 2 for $3 and my donut. I had 2 donuts instead of one. Bonus!
This place should close, we t here for a soup, they dont have any. Now went here for breakfast sandwich they dont have any ready. Very disappointing. They dont deserve a single a star.
So slow around work break times, took almost 20min for me to get my medium coffee.only 1 person working cash register and no one was helping the poor lady. And she kept having to take breaks from serving customers just to open the bathroom for other people. Felt sorry for her. Nit coming back here again during my work shift, almost got in trouble over a coffee taking too long
Come here almost every morning for breakfast and an iced capp.but the machine is down consistently.if it is working.they make my chocolate milk iced capps with EXPIRED MILK. ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE PEOPLE SICK?
So many staff and they can't seem to put orders together. It's one of the busier locations, but still, waiting 10 minutes for a sandwich is a problem. The restaurant wasn't too clean. The restrooms are locked and verge on gross.
This morning while waiting in line to order, one of the Caucasian ladies told her Indian coworkers “I don’t mind if you guys speak in English, but if you’re speaking in THAT OTHER language please keep it down. ” At the time I did not want to say anything or embarrass anyone but this is not okay at all. When did it become a crime to speak your own language in the work place? Also, wis giving this lady the right to tell people what language they can and cannot speak out loud? Her behaviour needs to be addressed as this is borderline discrimination. What a disgusting remark.
I never leave reviews but this is the worst tims in the city, whoever the loud white girl is always yelling at everyone EVERY time i come (i think shes the manager, and a horrible one) not to mention the hashbrowns are overcooked to heck and slow drive through service, once waited 8 mins and the line didnt move so i drove off.
I was very disappointed today. Had to wait in the line up and by the time I got to the order menu board had to wait again than was told they have no ice cap cause the machine was not working. Also their donuts are never fresh at this location.
Horrible horrible horrible! The drive-thru is an absolute joke! They're extremely slow, and don't prepare your order until you're AT the pick up window. I waited 20 minutes in line for a box of doughnuts. At frst I assumed they must just be busy, but when I got to the window, the staff were literally standing around and chatting amongst themselves. I waited another minute, and nothing. Finally I honked to get their attention, only then did they scramble to prepare my order. What a joke! Don't use their drive-thru!
DONT GO TO THIS TIMS! staff is extremely rude and pushy and are always trying to rush and when you don't move fast enough to garb your food they throw it into your vehicle! When I go here I ask usually for a large iced coffe with less ice and an everything bagel with cream cheese toasted. Preety easy right? Wrong. Most of the time my coffe has the normal amount of ice or EXTRA ice in it and the bagel is always cold and untoasted with a lump of cream cheese only in the middle! There's so many other places you can go to instead of this timmies. 0/5
Have had multiple issues with rude staff however I am livid. Last Friday I bought my girlfriend a timbiebs cup and within a week its lid broke and was treated poorly after trying to get a replacement lid. Rude staff and managemen.
Live near here and go here regularly. Twice now I have had a disastrous experience. First time their system overcharged me and manager refused to refund the difference. Told me to contact corporate office. I did that and was told that the owner of the franchise would be contacted and in the end I got NOTHING. Today I went again and they tried to refuse to honour a coupon. This place does not follow the customer service norms of a national chain. I will not go to here again!
I NEVER leave bad reviews because I’m a firm believer that everyone has bad days but this Tim hortons is located in the same parking lot of the professional building that I work in, so I go here at least once a week. For the most part staff is great with the exception of one specific women who runs the till and is ALWAY irritated, abrupt and rude to customers and other staff, to the point that it ruins your entire experience even if it’s a short one. My coworkers have the same experience every time they go and that is why I chose to write my first and only bad review, because clearly it’s not just a bad day.
Went in about 15 mins ago and ordered a regular chilli with a donut and was not told that it was ready on the top they just ignored me. I then looked into the bag and I was given a huge bun. I asked for a smaller one and was given it with a snarky look. When I got home I ate some and the bun was old, flat & dry. I was very disappointed so I called their number and was hung up on twice. I use to really like this Tim’s but something has changed and it is not good!
Always slow, drive up and they don’t know what they have. Latte with no espresso, zero F given about your order. Has it changed owners because it used to be fine. Now it’s brutal. The night staff and day staff must be timed because they make you park on the side even when there is no one behind you. I will drive to other locations just to avoid this one. Also drinks are 3/4 full and it is the worst location
Manager of tims at 118 ave 129th ban people if they complain about slow, mixed up, chaotic service that is not slow it is just guaranteed to get you back to work late. Manager knows nothing about leadership public service, arbitration, or repairing the public image of a billion $ co. And senior discounts They actually laugh at you! Obviously no training in public human rights. But oh yeh, the police get rapid service there because they are always being used as their private security- violations of their fiduciary duties and conflict of interest. Shame on you both!
At drive thru, scanner not working. So, person at drive thru she hold the phone and try to scan. As passing phone back she drop the phone. Thank goodness not break
We had breakfast yesterday at this location with my senior client and found a eggshell in my cheese and egg muffins and I privately informed one of the 2 of the crews. It’s so frustrating that neither of them appologized. They only offer a new one and that’s it which I didn’t accepted.
Rude staff. Few times I noticed they touched the coins (money) and with same gloves they made foods. Very low professional staff working there. I was a regular customer and most of the times at drive thru they never greed or say anything. Give the foods and closed the window. Such a rude attitudes. I finally stopped going to this Tim
Staff was so rude. Waiting time so long indrive through. When I reach first they ask me to wait and I can stand there for 5 min to place my order. First time in Canada I can see this kind of service at tim hortons.
Terrible customer service at this location! The woman taking my order at drive thru could not have been more unfriendly, and the guy giving me my food could not have been less enthused to be there. Zero apology given when they were sold out of what I wanted. I'll just avoid this location.
I literally can't believe this Tim Hortons, Went through the drive thru to be greeted by a smelly employee with horrible Body Odour and having all the air from inside this tim hortons comes flying into my vehicle, Then I see his scabs and flakey arms and knew this place has permanently lost me as a customer, They throw my order together give me no sauce on my order.

Though people may enjoy their daily Tim Hortons product, the people who work at this location are rude, inefficient, and demonstrate little care in customer service. They schedule lopsided overcrowded teams constantly, and their employees are known to have customers pay, then deliver on less than what was paid for; upon notification, they question the integrity of their customers. Be cautious when going to this place.
The worst service I’ve ever received I paid twice for one of my items because they messed up my order even tho I paid both times and then proceeded to wait for the last part of my order for over 10 minutes. There was about 10 people working and it wasn’t extremely busy.
Great service and food. Every location has a talented baker in the back making fresh goods, though they are more expensive than your average bakery (like at the back of a supermarket). My only word of caution would have to be, the quality of their baked goods is dependent on the time of day you walk-in.
The salted caramel cold brew was a watery cold coffee with not even a hint of caramel. I regret coming here to try a new drink. I wouldn’t have bothered to write a review but the price I paid for the quality of the drink put me off. Wednesday, September, 2021
They're probably the worst Tim's I've dealt with in 35 years as an Albertan. At 6 am I shouldn't have to pull over for a large dbl dbl and sausage breakfast (waiting up to 10 minutes for an order - which is still incorrect)
Tims is supposed to be a morning convenience for the people who make this economy work. I'd find another Tim's on your way to work. - speaking as a 2 year customer stopping in 6/7 days a week. I did, and they actually fulfil my order and understand 3 way communication.
Huge lineup on the drive-thru so decided to go in and it took longer eventho there were only 3 ppl in front of me. There were 2 cashiers but it seems only 1 person making coffees n 1 preparing food while the drive-thru had 3 ppl tending to it. There was 1 cashier who served a person who came after we did and left before us, that was wrong on a few levels
Drive through speaker is broken. The signs been up for a while. How was this not fixed immediately? Line up literally out the door because people are forced to go into the store during covid. The owner of this store clearly doesn't care about it.

The order was right on the board yet they still got it wrong. S stands for sugar not cream. Took it into the store and the girl said "Oh, I'll get you a new one. " No sorry or nothing. Good thing we check before we leave drive thru every time.
Ordered coffee and bagel (bulk). Got coffee right away waited 7 minutes for bagel and had to go to cashier to ask what holdup was. The whole time I was waiting not one of the 4 ladies working enquired if there was a problem. It took supervisor to come from back to sort the issue out. I was not impressed!
I only visit this Tim Hortons once in a while, but every time they consistently have the slowest service I've ever seen at a Tim Hortons franchise. Whether drive through or in store. All my visits have been during non rush hours. Tuesday evenings and Sunday evenings. I think they need a serious retraining of their staff. Don't come here if you have to be somewhere, you'll be stuck in the drive through for 20 mins.
While they may be quick, quality is EXTREMELY LACKING. I ordered a breakfast wrap, hash brown and coffee. The wrap was cold & NOT grilled and had no filling. 2 PC of bacon 1/2 slice of cheese and 1/2 an egg. The hash brown was soggy and the coffee warm at best. I get better value at McDonald's for less. Never will I go back to that location.
Don’t ever use their app! Ordered delivery through the app took over 50mins to get to my work which is less than a 5min drive. Call Tim’s to cancel order the people working had no clue how to cancel the order.so now I’ll be working on a client when they try to deliver and won’t be able to receive it! Useless
Added my reward for my free cup and never received it. Very limited selection on timbits and was not advised of all sizes available. Told that Tim Hortons no longer carries the smoothies though it is still advertised on the screens.
When it says open til midnight or 24 hours it's very deceiving or not fair for people walking or on bikes that don't have a car for the drive through. You would increased your profit dramatically too

What a Hustle Man! Looks like you're the only one working it with a huge line up right before close. Hope he gets a bonus as it's well deserved! Beyond tonight, this time hortons has typically been very good in terms of service and friendliness.
I come to this location often because its convenient and close to my home. It seems like 7 out of 10 coffees you purchase here have that burnt taste. I keep coming back hoping it'll get better but it seems like they just dont care.
Very unprofessional, never can seem to get my order right and is always rushing me when I’m ordering. They don’t give you time to fully place your order with out saying “is that it? ” Bad customer service all around. One of the worst Tim Hortons that I’ve been to. After all their rushing you through it still takes forever to get your order. Unsatisfied
Very very limited options after 8pm. Worst tim Hortons in the city I’ve experienced. Employees are nice but this location is clearly not managed well because they are always out of at least half the menu. And it’s not just once or twice this has happened. I stopped going to this one. Always a disappointment.
Man these people here today Sunday October 11 should really find something else to do why the he'll Will someone want chocolate milk added to my ice caps. Man the people you hire sometimes can't even speak English and she working the till! I ask for a a ice caps and a chocolate chip muffin where the he'll did she get chocolate milk from!
Always short staffed and when they aren’t they make you park on the side and deliver your food even if it’s just a bagel so they can make their fast drive thru times. Every time I have had to wait on the side for up to 10 mins just for a bagel with butter. And there is usually very sketchy people around while you’re waiting. Not going here again.
Really bad service. I had specifically asked for a receipt as I was on a business trip and it for remuneration. Girl told me that she will bring receipt when she brings the food. She told me receipt is in the bag. I checked the bag and it wasn't. Went inside and she said I must have lost it. That was a lie. Not impressed.
If you are concerned about COVID-19, I would recommend only the drive-thru or a different location entirely. The staff inside do not seem interested in maintaining the municipal mask bylaw and physical distancing. Yes, they have markers on the floor, but will let 10 or more people wait in line in an area spaced for only 4 customers. This used to be my regular location, however, I will drive to another that will ensure my safety as a customer and consumer.
Staff are Lack of knowledge. I went there and try to buy some instant coffee so I can make it at home myself. So I grab a package and ask the staff if that is instant coffee. She had no idea if that is instant coffee or not. Then she turned around and ask the manager. The manager said yes. When I got home and open the package it is a k-cup coffee. Now I have to spend more money to buy a machine making coffee. What a joke!
Service was okay, watch out for the huge pothole in drive through.as I mentioned this at the pick up window of the pot hole. Her comment she indicted to me.was oh sorry. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.
I arrived at this Tim Hortons at 4: 09 AM. I ordered a large decaf coffee. I noticed the order board said regular coffee. I asked the dude wearing a yellow jacket if he got the order right, decaf. His response was " we don't serve decaf until 5 AM. " Huh? Shouldn't decaf be available anytime? I hope the owner/manager sees this post. I went to McDonalds.
Hands down, the grossest washroom in Edmonton. The restaurant is dirty and run down. Please wash your windows and scrub your washroom down. This place used to be good. Nice staff and good service, well, not so much anymore. Orders take long. Food and coffee not to Tim's standard. Horton is probably rolling in his grave, with this franchise disaster.
