After several mediocre visits to this location, this one will be my final visit. Only ordered 2 items. Was assured my food item was correct when I confirmed what was ordered, it was not. Coffee was served slightly warm and when brought back it was warmed in the microwave.
I was at this location 3 times in the past week and ordered the Herb and Garlic pastry, 2 times it was the wrong one, it was the Jalapeno. This is after telling them to make sure its the correct one, and ordering 2 each time. I'm now out of pocket for 4 pastries. Maybe train your staff better.
If you are used to going to Tim Hortons and enjoying their food along with the free internet prepared to be disappointed. The internet has not been working at the Strathcona or the location across the street from Southgate Mall. When asked, the staff though friendly have no idea what's going on and no idea when the problem will be rectified. If you want to enjoy internet with your coffee and muffin or whatever you're eating, then I suggest for now you go to McDonald's.
Apparently this store doesn't care what you order, they just make you the normal sandwich anyway. Don't go here if you want anything non-standard. You can select different options on your mobile order which they will promptly ignore.
The coffee is good. If you want to place an order I suggest giving a good 15-20 mins lead time. It’s Saturday, 5: 00 PM and only four people working. Really? I guess that answers the question of why there’s two big garbage cans blocking the drive-thru. Is there an actual franchisee present? Go to your store and see for yourself… 20+ people in the restaurant is not fair to your staff that are most likely grossly underpaid for the work they have to do. Get it together, or just sell your restaurant. On a side note: clean the visible feces off of the wall and ceiling in the ladies bathroom. I would give one star but the employees were working hard.
I have never seen such an garbage tim hortons in EDMONTON before with untrained staff and the staff don’t even know how to talk to their customers. Every time had an unsatisfactory experience with the staff and the quality they provide to customers. I hope you will grow up.
Literally sat at the window for 5 minutes in drive through waiting for a single coffee. Slow slow slow service, the ultimate in mediocrity, even for Tim Hortons
I had a total trash experience at this location. After placing my order they shorted me a coffee. I stopped to check that the food I had ordered for my co workers was accurate. Only to find half the food missing. I entered the store and was told the two missing items were not added to the order. I said fine… pulled my my card again and paid a 3rd time… and again they failed to add the second missing sandwich. What a absolute joke. It should never take 4 transactions to complete a single order. I called the location to talk to a manager after getting back to the office, and no one answers the phone. I highly recommend avoiding this location whenever possible.
The service is so bad compared the Tim's on Argyll. Breakfast sandwiches were falling apart, shell in the egg, didn't put honey in my tea and the person at the window was curt and more focused on his fellow employee than handing my food out safely. Avoid.
This location is always out of decaf. My husband and I often go through the drive through. I drink regular and he drinks decaf. The window staff often tells us to wait for the decaf out front where they usually forget us and we have to go in and remind them. Sometimes they just say they don't have decaf and they don't give the option to wait for it to brew. Today, we pull up to the window and they gave my husband half a cup because that's all they had. We won't go back to this location. The Tim Hortons at South Common always has decaf ready and the staff is always so friendly.
We were here at 6: 30 on October 27th, and the boys that were working tonight deserve a raise! Their PR skills are incredible and make everyone laugh! Nice to see such hard working ethics in such young kids these days!
I am a regular here. Definitely busy at breakfast and lunch. I am not going there at these hours anymore because the coffee can be burnt and bitter and bagel toasting consistency is all over the place (most likely to be burnt but all a good chance of lightly toasted and cold in the middle). Outside of the busy hours I have never had an issue. They have a ton of car and bike enthusiasts there on the weekends, it's fun to grab a coffee and peruse the parking lot
Very satisfied, best service, great staff. Always feel welcomed, always want to go their with friends and family. Best food, fresh food and especially they have what we like to eat. My kids love its fries the most.
I told her to heat my dessert for only 10 seconds, but she did not listen to me and heated it for 30 seconds. Even street vendors in my home country provide better customer service than Tim hortons
If you order online, nowadays they are pretty fast with it and is ready by the time you get to the drive thru. Though if you have a bigger order, let's say the 12 cup coffee and above, you have yo wait 15-20 minutes even if you ordered it online.
The best time Hortons in Edmonton. They haven't messed up my double double Coffee order yet. Other than that it's a tims. Don't expect anything tasteful or good.
This Time seems to be one of the quicker ones to serve walk-in customers, a bit slower on the drive through. Service is good. Food is Tim Hortons average. They never put too little butter on my bagels, but sometimes they don't toast them long enough. They're light on staff in these times, so cut 'em a bit of slack.
Went to drive thru and the male worker taking my order was just super slow and spoke unprofessionally. Also, he is just standing there making me reach all the way to grab my food. He could be a bit friendly and helpful.i had my mask on lol
Prompt, polite service. I ordered a sandwich and coffee, the sandwich looked like someone with poor eyesight prepared it, more filling out of the bun than in, still tasty though!
Went to Drive Thru. Ordered in mobile app for at least 30 mins in advance but went there and waited for another 20 mins. Low efficiency and low quality.
A good staff and they have a nice deal with the customer and there is a young man in his twenties who is Canadian who used to deal well with me. He helped me a lot with my request The place is so clean I like it thank you guys for everything good luck
Honestly how hard is it to put the proper amounts of sugar and cream in a coffee? Every single Tim's for the past 2 months cant seem to even get the coffee correct. Guess I will be going to McDonald's for coffee daily.at least they seem to understand the difference between 2 sugar and no sugar. Disappointed yet again. Tim's used to be my favorite but after 2 months of screwed up coffees I am done.
Staff just put garbage bin at drive through so that nobody can order. They mentioned it’s 24hr but it’s not. They just sit inside don’t serve customers.
Went to the front of the covid line because my kid only had to pee. And they made us line us behind 4 people. And I ended up having to leave because my poor kid couldnt hold it forever for them to fill orders when all we needed was the washroom.very upset by this. Hes a little kid just by looks you know he wouldnt be able to hold it for an hour.
It was really good. We had coffee and two breakfast sandwich. My fruend had bacon and egg and I had ham and egg. Was really tasty. I liked the cleanness better at this Timmy's than the one at Westmont. This place looked very clean. Westmont not so much.
Everytime i go to drive thru i asked for medium halffrenchvanilla half darkroast all i can taste is the darkroast can't even taste the french vanilla on it and they don't even fill it up properly the cup.
I want to give no stars. Today, I ordered coffee and jalapeno begal with chream cheese. The portion of cheese is like nothing and coffee was burn. It happened 2 times with me in past. You should put proper portion which in recipe and customer pays for it. Very disapointed. I think they do intentionally to save food cost. I would never go to this location.
As a family a changing table is very important! Especially when we are going to Tim Hortons thinking they have one for sure this is a family restaurant
I have gone to this Timmies many times, while the coffee is not always the best (there is usually a burnt taste to it) I have never had as bad of an experience as I did today. Half way through my cup of coffee I took a sip and a chunk of what appeared to be expired cream went into my mouth. Needless to say I will be avoiding this location in the future. They need to train their staff on checking expiration dates and cleaning out the machines better.
Tim Hortons may not be “the chichi” place to be, but, it has that "community presence" and "feel" of diversity – inclusion, from the staff onwards. The coffee is fine, fresh, so is their hot chocolate! And the selection of sweets is getting better all the time. Indeed, you don’t have to go to Starbucks to feel you are “in”. Very welcoming, although the staff could smile a bit more, and the washroom could use more frequent attention. Great location; plenty of free parking, and handy for relatively central meetings – by the way, their chili is very good, and affordable too. United Cycle is right handy, so is Strathcona Antique Market – nice blend of service and people. I like it:) LCA
This is my daily Tim Hortons. The people here are friendly and nice and the service is fairly quick unless you go at noon when all the Scona teens are there. Much better service than the McDonalds two blocks up. I am a fan.
For a place that advertises “all day breakfast” and that is open 24 hours, i was extremely disappointed to be told that there were no breakfast options available at 11: 30pm.not only was i denied the all day breakfast, but when informed there were only lunch sandwiches, i went to order a sandwich, then i was told they only had 3 of the sandwiches available.i am extremely disappointed in the fact that every time i tried to order, my options were further limited, rather than the cashier initially telling me the limits on the menu
So. I decided to order the Chocolate Truffle Dream Donut for the first time and it was definitely NOT as pictured. Looked exactly like a poop emoji instead. Potty humor aside, the flavor did not seem adversely affected.
Just came through here and it was a let down. Your millennial staff have the attention span of a fish l, had to repeat my order 3 times just for her to get it down. As for actual food delivery, they were more concerned with conversation among colleagues than handing me my drink so I could leave, which she also just poured my expresso into the top without mixing in so I had to do her job. Train your staff better.
Come on everybody loves Timmy's they actually got my four by four right I love these guys cuz they stir the spoon they really get the sugar on the cream mixed up with a lot of people don't stir the spoon all in all great place
Went through the drive through, sure enough they forgot the chipotle sauce i asked to add on to my sandwich.go inside, politely tell them my order is wrong.a lady proceeds to tell me there is no chipotle on the sandwiches, i said yes, i know, i asked for it to be added.she says the same thing again with attitude, i said the same thing again obviously with attitude back.gave me my sandwich back very rudely.definitely not the right way to deal with an order coming back, it was a quick and simple fix.no need for attitude in the situation.
We come here 2-3 times a week. Our orders are messed up 99% of the time. Whether it be old food served, our food is missing something, or they've given me several wrong items. I'm pretty disappointed and I've had to replace the same wrap 4 times one day. Staff, step your game up.
Just bought 20 timbits at this location drive thru and got 2 completely crushed timbits.seems the person serving doesn't even care.thank you Tim hortons.
Been here twice in the last 24 hours and they’ve made my order wrong or haven’t had something i ordered and never gave me a refund or the price difference.
There website says open 24 hours, you can call them at 3 am and someone will answer saying there not open till 5 am. I think that same person could sell me a coffee
Real slow service, its so slow i waited 15 minutes and still didnt get served, guy ahead of me said the same about waiting, seems to be focused on drive through only, evening shift should be fired for the laziness Saturday 5: 43pm 2019
