A lot of people who do not understand English work here have to repeat Things 2 and 3 times before they get it right not open late at all they close at 9
This Location is Single Handedly the SLOWEST Tim Hortons I have ever been to in all of Alberta/B. C. This review isn't based off a 1 time experience. It is Consistently soul crushingly slow.
Pull up to one of the drive through speakers and wait a moment. Nobody talking to me. The car at the other speaker pulls away. I say "Hello? " No answer. A truck pulls to the other speaker. I say "Hello? " No answer. The other speaker goes. "Welcome to Tim Hortons" I say "Hello? " No answer. The other truck pulls away. "Hello? " Silence. So I drive away.
I was in the drive thru today and my coffee was wrong I didn’t get offered a drink tray and saw black pieces floating in my quencher. This has happened more than once with getting my order wrong and I’m not impressed by it. Every morning when I come I get the wrong coffee.
We're disrespectful because of how rude they were just talking about me while I was in line. Not happy and on top of that they for got my roommates DRINK!
This place used to be a lot better; not sure if recent decline is due to the location itself, or orders/constraints coming from higher up.
I placed a mobile order through the app today after work. I arrived at the Drive-Thru and was told that they couldn't give me the items I had ordered - 2 Egg & Cheese Farmer's Wraps - because they stop serving breakfast at 4pm. OK, if that's the case then ideally the app would have *prevented* me from ordering breakfast items (and I thought Tims' advertises all-day breakfast anyway?). But whatever, no biggie I can deal with that. However, I'm not psychic; how am I expected to know that I can't order specific items after 4pm if the tool I'm using to place said order doesn't tell me?
I then asked if I could get refunded for the items I had ordered since they are unavailable - had to wait a minute, then I was instead told that I could pick any of the chicken wraps as a replacement. I don't eat meat so said that wouldn't really work for me, and once again requested a refund for the items I had ordered. Waited a bit again, and this time I was told that they could make any of the wrap items without meat (so literally just a wrap with Lettuce, Tomato, and mayo/ranch/whatever sauce?). I wasn't satisfied with that so again asked if I could get a refund and this was told I could also swap my wraps for 2 Caprese sandwiches. Rather than wasting time having my question blatantly ignored again, I caved and said OK to that - at least it's something I can still eat. Then I find out they don't actually have the mozza for the Caprese (they're out), so I accept cheddar instead. So at the end of this, I leave with something that I didn't actually order - and even my *substitution* items couldn't be made properly (according to recipe/menu).
If I have already paid you for the item and you aren't able to give me that item when I come to pick it up, that's fine - sometimes glitches happen or small mistakes get made, that's completely understandable. What really annoys me about this is that I requested a refund THREE SEPARATE TIMES and was ignored each time then offered subpar substitutions. If you would have just *acknowledged* my question instead of deflecting, I wouldn't have been so angry, but at this point I feel like I've been lied to (false advertising with "all day breakfast") and ripped off. If I order an item from literally almost *any other business* and it is out of stock or otherwise unavailable when I come in to pick it up, a REFUND is generally considered to be a standard way to resolve that discrepancy, no? (Since a raincheck doesn't really work in this situation.) Needless to say, it will be a long while before I return to this location again.
So potential customers BEWARE - apparently this Tim's won't give you your money back once they already have it, even if the fault is on them.
This Tim Hortons has to be one of the worst I’ve ever been to, there hours are always inconsistent some days they are open past 12am other days they close at 9pm. They also don’t have most of their menu available past a certain time because “we don’t want to make a breakfast wrap past 5pm”
I have been to a lot of tim hortons but this was the worst one ever very slow for one and very rude lady ordered a ice mocca coffee and got a hot mocca coffee ordered an order of chili cheese wedges wedges were old and hard and not even a table spoon of chili definitely gonna think twice before going there again and if I could I wouldn't even give a star
The food (Specifically The Wedges) is good when fresh. Nonetheless, it rarely tastes fresh and is often dry. The Staff are also incompetent and consistently mess up orders. I always get a double-double and consistently the sugar is forgotten as well as the chipotle dipping sauce to my wedges.
Here every morning because it's the only place in town to get breakfast. I suggest showing up about 30 minutes before you have to work because their drive thru is painfully slow. Don't get the farmers wraps. They forget the hashbrowns in them about 50% of the time.
Really slow service. Staff behind counter outnumber customers 2 to 1 and still, wait times are brutally long. Food was so-so but coffee was so watered down, took ten minutes to be able to request a better coffee in an almost empty restaurant. I've never been motivated to review a Timmies location but this place was a complete gong-show.
Good drinks and food but the service was not the greatest the clerk assumed i didnt have any money.racial profiling is the last thing I would expect Timmy's from the old broad working the till
This Tim Hortons is mediocre at best. I don't know what's up with their wait times. I have observed an empty dining area only cars in the drive through and we have been stuck waiting for upwards of 20 minutes multiple times. However, they do have the best tea made to my taste around, and they are a convenient location so I will continue to use their services.
One of the worst Tim Hortons I've ever visited. Slow and almost always a screw up some how on each order. Ordered a triple triple and got a black tea instead today.
Ladies washroom disgusting. Meanwhile I was in drivethru ordered chocolate milk, got hot chocolate. Ordered soup and a cheese tea biscuit, got a white bun. Ordered a donut, paid for it and didn’t get one at all. Poor service!
I'm not happy anymore at vegreville timhortons because not giving me anymore the right thing so next time if it's ok I will ask for and other people who tick my order
Ordered a BLT with extra bacon. I got three strips of bacon on my sandwich (less that normal) and still had to pay for the extra. The lettuce was great, tomato borderline too old to be on a sandwich but would have liked to taste some of the bacon. Not impressed.
Old lady there is deaf, and even when she hears you she doesn't get it right. Shouldn't have seniors working at a "fast food" place creates slow environment. Also it's a safety hazard.
Since it's takeover by a US food company, it is mediocre compared to when it was Canadian. Clean washrooms, a basic fast food eatery, priority catering to drive though customers.
I hesitated to leave this review. Only positive reviews I told myself. Holy smokes not a single good thing to say about this place. Wrong coffee order twice in a row. Mediocre sandwiches. Chicken that tastes like plastic. What happen to Tim’s? !
When a customer ask for mayo on both sides of their sandwich that doesn't mean give them a mayo sandwich.it was literally dripping out! So gross! Not to mention the Drive-through has to be the slowest I have ever been to. I wish they would hire staff that actually cares about what they serve and how they serve it! Pretty disappointed unfortunately it's the only one in town: (
I wish I could give this tim hortons a negative star rating as the worst in the Canadian history of tim hortons as a business. The old lady was rude and disrespectful to me and when I showed her coupon for a bagel, she said it doesnt start till 8th jan and when I told her that I used the same coupon in Edmonton, she said then go to Edmonton and buy it. This is vegreville. Also not to forget to mention that my bagel was cold as the Canadian arctic and I had to warm it up when I reached home. This is the worst tim hortons I have ever came across my life.
2 stars is only for the fact that it's a new looking store.the potatoes and soup were cold and all they did was warm them up in the oven.fresh potatoes would of been nice.tried the beyond burger.was nothing special vegan cheese would be nice with the vegan burger. Spent over 25 dollars on the meal and my 75 yr old mom also bought a dozen donuts before we left and she asked for a sample of the the donut sticks and they wouldn't give her one to try.said it was company policy.like handing out one tiny donut stick is going to break you.she probably would of bought some if they were good.and flies in the donut case.very disappointed.wont be back
Shop was not busy - probably as many staff as customers. I waited about 15 minutes as the staff had a visit before I asked about my order. Clerk was surprised I didn't get my order yet. In about 5 minutes I received my order and a sorry to keep you waiting muffin. When we had our ice caps on the road, they were slightly off flavor - sourish.
It's been renovated since I was last here. I like the changes, although the seating is even less comfortable than before. The food is on par with average expectations for a Tim Hortons restaurant.
It feels like this chain is struggling. Less selection of donuts and timbits. Service is hurried and unfriendly. Quality is okay for what they have available-maybe my memories are biased, but I remember them being better than they recently have been.
This old lady employee told me to leave when I complained about the cold toasted bagel. I called the complaint line and no body got back to me. You also can see how dirty the back is from the front. 2 in 3 orders are always wrong. They serve the drive thru before walk-ins. Horrible place
Hi Was disappointed. Waited in line 10 min with 2 people in front of me. Only 1 person manning the tills and filling parts of the orders. By time I got through there were about 6 people behind me. This is a common occurrence. Talking with gentleman in front of me. I told him that this has to be the slowest Tim's in Canada and he agreed with me. Asked to speak with manager. Waited about 5 min. Stated that every one was busy. From what I was able to see they were one person short it looks this way all the time. The gentleman and me are frequently travelling through this area. I hope that this can be corrected. Thanks for seeking my feed back
