Our order was not done correctly the first time. Specifically mentioned the size but what was given was not customized. Thankfully the manager was quick and focused on correcting the issue rather than going through longer unnecessary discussion. He got it corrected same day! Yet another door cut incorrectly when a sample door was provided. Hinges installed crooked aswell. 3hrs of repairing the door, again.

I want to commend Mike Shreve at the NE location. Friends of ours had dealt with Mike previously. We were looking at building our deck and fence and decided to go see Mike. We were told that Mike was knowledgeable, honest and extremely helpful. We were not disappointed! Mike is all the above and more! He allowed us to have options. He was a good communicator and kept in contact during the process. If you really want to experience good service go see Mike. He will guide you through your project. He will follow up. I was a loyal Home Depot customer yet that has changed for me and for others that have dealt with Mike. Great job Mike!

There was some miscommunication when I tried to exchange a door initially but Aaron, the store manager reached out and made things right. I am very impressed with the wide variety of options they have and incredible prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for building supplies and I will continue purchasing from them.

Where to begin.
5* for the no b/s experienced and able knowledge of the staff. I dealt only with Randy.

But I gotta say the over all knowledge of building and care was a relief as building anything is expensive and most staff in most places are to daft to bother asking any meaningful questions.

Months later, small return and again. The greeting staff were kind and bright. "On the ball" as my father says. Then Randy again was available to help me with the completion of my transaction.

Great bunch of people, good and useful at what they do.

We got floors from TTown Edmonton and did a house in Calgary, towards end of the project we ran short of flooring materials, James was able to connect with Jup from NE we got our 2 boxes to complete the project, it was special order and Jup manage to connect with someone that was returning some. A big thank u to James and Jup for putting this together, its nice to see two stores to connect and go out of their way to help us out specially out of town job for us. Jup is the man

This place presents its products well for homeowners to see how things would look. Great service. Wish it were open Sundays but still a bit old school, which is nice too.

Great prices, good customer service in store but did not call us when product was ready when they told us they would.

Had some interior doors milled, Door jambs came Very very very poor quality. Almost like someone didn't' care what so ever! Won't be back to buy doors from the ever again!

It's my go to place when looking for flooring materials for my clients. But I always look for Warren for information on thier product, he's a great guy and will answer my questions to the best of his knowledge.

Consistently great time here. Have been in a lot, lately, with house projects, and it's been a good experience. I've dealt wit a few different staff members and they have the answers and the products.

Bought some railings here and the advertised price was $33 per ft, compared to a few places and I thought the one here looked the best, so I ended up paying close to $40 per ft. Nice railings and selections, but would get quotes from them and other places before buying!

This is a good place if you need some Canada made hardwood flooring. Nice staffs too. But I was told you can only return the leftover in two weeks since this month. You need to let the flooring rest for one week first, and It'll be not easy to finish a big house in one week. This return policy will hurt both TimberTown and customers.

Definitely recommend. It is a little pricer than Lowe's, Rona, home depot. But the workers actually respect you. I went to other stores and no one was happy to help. At timber town there was many people who were there to help and every one was knowledgeable, cheerful, and helpful

Let me start by saying I have never written a review before and regret that my first one is negative.
I have dealt with Timbertown for many years as a contractor as well as my personal projects. The front end staff have always been proven helpful, especially Blair, Ed, Frank and Barry. As a company we have sent 100s of people to the NE store.
We used to have a great relationship with the accounting department as well and if we were having a delay in being able to make our payments or needed our credit line extended in order to purchase product, it was a simple phone call. The 2 stars, and I wish I could give them 5, is for them.

Sadly today I recieved a notice from Timbertown that was a little shocking. Our October bill was overdue by $98.00 and our November statement that is due has not been fully paid to date. Because of that our account has been closed and we have been sent to collections. Our most recent payment was on Dec. 23rd. (Yes, one week ago)
When I called to inquire what was happening, the lady (not my regular account lady) told me that if my account is overdue it is not her problem as she is not the one that makes the decision but the owners did. Oh, and 'too bad. '
I let her know that we would no longer be purchasing from Timbertown and would be taking our business elsewhere. Her response. "That's fine".
End of conversation.
I have sent an email out to the president of the company and in a perfect world would love to get a response, but I won't hold my breath.
(Update: The owner responded early this morning And has said he will look into this. For that I am grateful. He can now fit into the ***** star group.)
Whatever happened to reviewing the history of a company and reaching out to rectify things so that all can work together. Maybe I am just too nastolgic. All I know is that in a tougher economy, it makes no sense to cut the good customers off and treat them like scum.
Its a sad day for me. Personal Relationships mean something.

Bought my baseboard and Hao was helpful and knew what hes doing. I also love the different options for decking. If you need a place for lumber go to Timbertown!

Good place for deck and flooring related stuff, knowledgeable staff and good prices also, they actually beat the price than their big box competitor for my recent project to replace the railings for my deck.

Not much variety. I went and looked around for at least an hour but they never asked me what I was looking for.

Specifically looking for small sliding doors. Helpfully staff, he was maybe getting annoyed with me. But we worked it out, all good.

Wide variety of floors with a great range of prices. Good for contractors looking for hard to find mouldings too.
