I’ve had a head/scalp massage that was freaking amazing the staff are all great, polite and positive.the pedicure was fantastic, nails done 3 times and they all look beautiful and the artistry is beautiful.however all 3 sets have had 2+ nails break off; one snapped right off putting my hand into my glove… see picture. I wish I could find a place where the nails are durable and don’t break in a freakin lululemon glove

I had a pedicure today with Eva and it was amazing! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. This was my favourite pedicure ever, and it was very relaxing. I also love how they had so many colors to pick from. I will be back for sure!

The owner has at least 15years of experience, i have really sensitive nails so while removing my gel nails i didnt even flinch. They were extremely careful and gentle! Ive been to other salons before and sadly my nails didn’t survive. Once the session is done serve yourself with a hi-chew candy and a pen!

I absolutely cannot rave enough about coming here, Rose has created such an amazing atmosphere. She remembers your name and details you tell her she is kind and thoughtful. The staff she has working are just as talented as she is. This is by far my favourite place to come and I always look forward to our visits. I have always been someone who gets my nails done regularly since finding her salon I don’t go anywhere else. They are all so talented and it’s the first nail salon I have been too where my nails don’t ever break! They last until our next visit. I highly recommend! Tell everyone you know because Gold Nails Salon and Spa deserves all of it! My daughters fight to even come and say hi and get the royal treatment Rose provides.

First time here today. Had a late appointment and the co owner offered me a drink, and made me feel very welcome despite the wait. Great mani and pedi with Eva! Everything was nice and clean, and happy to support a great local business in my community. I will be back in the future for some of their other services.

Update: I have been coming here monthly since new ownership- Rose, Eva and Oscar do a great job every time! My shellac lasts longer than other nail salons, and they’re nice and clean which is important to me.

It's hit-or-miss. I can go in for a pedicure and have the most amazing foot massage/ hot stones as well as being able to soak my feet for a while. Then another time I'll go in and maybe get 30-60 seconds in the water before I'm told to lift my feet up. The massage will be not so great and the hot stones almost non-existent. I love this place and the staff is just great, but they need to get a bit more consistent.

A 5 star review will not give this nail salon justice! They are SO kind and welcoming.i came here for the first time 2 weeks ago with my mom and now this will be my regular nail salon.the whole family is so kind, i've never feel so seen at a nail salon.my toe nail chipped after i came but once i called and let them know they told me to come in the same day and fixed it for me with so much patience.

I went to this place for shellac manicure because they have very good reviews unfortunately this salon is understaff, they should hire more nail techs so that their client wont feel they are beig rushed. It should be a relaxing experience but not really.

This is my third time getting my nails done here and every time I am so impressed at their work! Rose has done exactly what I’ve asked for even though I like my nails short, making them more difficult to do! She is so sweet and skilled! Love this place and will definitely be a regular customer!

My mom and I have tried multiple salons and this is the best we've been to. They took their time with our pedicure and Eva did me and my mom's scalp and shoulder massage and it was amazing! Will definitely keep coming back here! They were all so nice and accommodating!

I have alway been pleased with the service provided. I am able to book when needed and have also added an additional service at the last minute. The staff was happy to comply and are alway very friendly. I am greeted when I arrive and offered a beverage.

Fair prices, excellent service! They really make you feel important while giving you the best service, offer FREE cold beverages while your being pampered. I came here cause my regular salon was booked, safe to say I'm switching.

The Vietnamese massage done by Eva is amazing! She is very thorough, and makes it so relaxing! I get my nails done regularly and the ladies are so good at what they do! They even understand that I like short nails and decorate them as if they’re long! Very professional and kind! Rose is wonderful with my 2 girls and absolutely adores them! She even lets them do fashion shows in her shoes ️! We feel very very welcome!

I’ve been getting my nails done for years and was introduced to Gold nails by a friend. It has become my go to place and I absolutely love everything about it. Everyone is so friendly, they take the time to get to know you and the services are always phenomenal. I highly recommend the head scrub (it’s incredible).

Great customer experience and service! Had a picture of how I wanted my my nails to look. Rose was able to make my nails look amazing and gave suggestions of what would help make them look better.

Loved my experience here! Went looking for a Halloween design and I got even better than I imagined! Everyone was so super friendly and I'm looking forward to going back next week:)

Been coming here for years since Tina first started, I’m never disappointed with my nails! Whether I give them my ideas, photos to follow, or ask for their suggestions, I’m happy with the colours, shape, size, time & service. Being a busy working mom, I’m grateful for their quick efficient service and great hours (open weekends & holidays!). All around great atmosphere, great products and service, great price.

Rose and Eva always welcome you and offer you something to drink. Rose is the most amazing nail tech I gave ever had do my waxing or my nails. I would recommend her to do anything for you. The absolutely BEST Nail salon and Spa in Calgary.

I feel awful. I have been here once and the service was ok so I told my sister to take her daughter there. Her daughter has severely thin nails and cannot have them filed. After my sister called and confirmed her nails could be done without this and double checked when they arrived, the ladies still filed the tops of her nails. On top of that they did a French manicure and literally half of her nail bed had white polish. My sister contacted the owner and was told to come back and get it fixed. When they went back in the ladies continually spoke to each other in their language so my sister downloaded a translator app to translate what they were saying. I am completely blown away at what these ladies were saying, it was disgusting and disrespectful. I will make sure everyone in our area knows what they say about paying customers and make sure people avoid that place like the plague. You ladies should be ashamed of yourselves for speaking the way you did about a single mom and her "spoiled" daughter. If you have something that rude to say about someone at least get the balls to say it to their face so they understand. I hope you get shut down.

Update* Tina, you were the one saying all of the horrible things and you are the owner! The only reason you are sorry is because you got caught. I can't even begin to imagine how many other people you have done this too.

I don't usually write reviews but just had to review this place as I am thoroughly upset.
So my wife hardly ever gets her nails done because she believes $40 (what most places charge)
Is to much for a set of nails. However she loves how they look, so for Christmas I decide to buy her a gift certificate to get them done. Tina nails is right by our house so I chose there.
I said I wanted her to get a new set of nails, a manicure and a pedicure they told me ok that will be $85 so I bought the card and they wrote on it, a full set, mani and pedi. Well my wife went in yesterday and got her nails done, she said she Will wait till she had more time to get a mani/pedi. So I showed up there right as they finished and my wife goes to use her gift card and they say "oh that will be $75" SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS? ! ARE YOU CRAZY, $75 is outrageous and then they told her she only has $10 left on her gift card so she won't be getting a mani or a pedi unless she pays more.
First of all, You let someone know of you are gonna charge that much more then every other place in the city.also why would she sell me a gift card that included everything but later it only cover nails.my poor wife I felt so bad for her because yes her nails looked great (that's why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1)
But she is feeling so Guilty spending $75 on nails even though I told her it is ok it was a gift but she is just so upset that they would charge that for nails and not even let either of us know it would be so high. (And their price list does not state $75)
If you are rich this is the place for you if not there is another nail shop down the street that only charges half of what Tina charges.
