I was surprised at how different my experience was this time, my first time back since covid
Admittedly I used to go to the 2nd floor location which is now closed
I walked in and saw one person serving another customer and one person over to the side on his cell phone who did not seem very interested
I knew right away that the person that I wanted to serve me was the lady that serving the other one customer in the store
I got her attention and she said she would help me as soon as she was finished with the other customer. Reasonable
I was waiting for some time, which I was willing to do, the other staff person that had been disinterested and preoccupied on his phone, came over to which I told him I was waiting to be helped by the lady
I assumed there was probably commission involved so I wanted it to go to someone that appeared to be hard working
She was very knowledgeable about the product. I could not have asked for better service.
As for the quality of the clothes, I know one does not expect super high quality from Tip Top Taylor's but it does seem to me that the quality has dropped significantly from the last time I shopped here. I may be wrong but once I got to wearing the clothes, it was quickly obvious that the quality just isn't there

Worst customer service ever. The staff didn’t greet us upon entering the store. We had to ask for help. The store wasn’t busy. My son in law needed a particular pair of dress pants for the wedding party he was to be in. The staff member put very little effort in to finding him the right size. He didn’t do any measurements or follow up on my son in law when he was in the dressing room. My daughter had to try and find sizes. We considered leaving and going to a different TipTop but we didn’t have extra time. He didn’t help find another shirt when the shirt my son in law tried on was clearly the wrong size. He only started trying to help when we started rifling through shirts looking for a different size/fit. He said they didn’t have the right size of dress pants but when my daughter asked the female employee for assistance she found the right size. I was SO DISAPPOINTED in our experience. I had to ask if they did alterations. They do, but they were booked a month ahead. Fair enough, but then he didn’t give any suggestions for an alternate tailor until I asked. My husband has shopped at this locations many times and he had never been treated so poorly. I’m surprised that they are in business.

Very disorganized. Almost didnt get my vest in time for my wedding because they didnt order it. Claimed i didnt pay for my suit and they didnt accept the written recipt they gave me due to the printer errors they had that day. Had to show them my credit card statement. Then they double charged me for all tailoring

The customer service is very bad. There were 2 sales representatives and they took forever to respond when asked for something.

Pardik is an amazing guy, he is the manager there, and also Ali helped me out a lot, they were so helpful and toughtful, i would never go anywhere else to buy suits, all i can say is these guys will go above and beyond for customers, if you want a quality service and product within a reasonable price range, this is your place.

VERY VERY VERY VERY I mean like VERY Disrespectful costumer service. My dad and I was treated with disrespect because I AM A WOMEN shopping and trying to buy a suit for my sister’s birthday party. Since my dad and I wanted to match. This STORE Should be Out of Commission I Am Very disappointed and ruined the experience. SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE DISRESPECTED. This rating should have a zero star option.

Always have had great experiences with this location. Robin is a great help every time and Pardik the Manager has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. Definitely recommend this location!

Single handedly one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. I walked in and told the sales associate what I was specifically looking for, and he "corrected" me on what color I was looking for. After rudely telling me the proper name of the color of suit I wanted, which wasn't even right in the first place, he point me to the corner of the store and walked away. I won't be setting foot in a Tip Top Tailor suit store ever again.

Go here if you want to see employees stand around ignoring customers… we were walking and looking for a few minutes and no one approached us to help, quite ridiculous

I walked in to buy a suit for myuniversity graduation ceremony. The expertise of the sales lady, Athena, made my shopping experience effortless. She adeptly helped multiple customers at the same time as well as finding the best suit for my fit and budget: they were a little busy and understaffed it seemed. Nonetheless I will definitely be returning at this location to buy more suits in the future.

Huge shout out to Pardik for coming in on his Sunday off and finding/fitting perfect suits for my groomsmen and I a mere 13 days before my wedding. AND even going through the effort to drive to Kingsway mall to gather more pants and jackets so we could all leave the city ready to go for the big day - everything was perfect

Amazing service! Guy took one look at me and picked out my size first try. Being tall and slim it's often hard to find my size right away but here it was so easy.

Athena was phenomenal, from recommending colors, to providing a precise fitting suit, to marking for the best look. I was blown away with the customer service and attention to detail.

I walked in not knowing what i wanted, and walked out with two excellent fitted suits

10/10 i would recommended her to anyone.

Bought a $500 suit from them, it was a great experience when I was buying it but the trousers that came with the suit deteriorated to a very bad condition within the first 30 days. Went back to ask what can be done, continuously for the run around from staff. Do not recommend if you want worth for your money.

Rented suits here for my wedding.
These guys outsource rentals for freeman formals.
They are very dis-organized in co-coordinating the rentals. It is not of high priority to the salesman at tip-top.

The only Saving grace was the manager here, Hadia. She was very organized, had everything under control, knew exactly what was going on with every groomsmen, she was a gem! Actually paid attention to us and wasn't a scatterbrain like some of the other employees (though they meant well).

The whole experience was a bit stressful and we were receiving items the day before we left for our wedding, but in the end it worked out, everyone got their suits on time, and they looked good. And the price is right.

If you want a low stress with suit rentals I would recommend going somewhere who has more experience with suit rentals, this is not tip-tops strong suit. If you do come here, talk to Hadia she is great!

HORRIBLE Service, they took no accountability for the issues we had with the wedding tux rentals for my son and his wedding party, DO NOT USE these guys - go somewhere CREDIBLE & REPUTABLE - if I could give them a minus star I would give them a minus 100 - I was shocked at how poorly the tuxes were fitted and that they took no accountability for the missing pieces or in ensuring appropriate fits - they steamed the suits and the pieces never made their way back to the garment bag - was a horrible experience - don't bother with them - I will be following up with a complaint to their head office and the better business bureau - these issues should not be happening on your wedding day

Great place for suits.waay better options than Simon's, also reasonably priced. Thank you to the two kind employees that were working today. Very helpful and I felt like they really cared

I entered the store at 3: 30 and waited 10 minutes only to have the guy tell me to "come back between 10-4 when my tailor is here, you too late. " So if you're own tailor is on vacation I wouldnt recommend here because they can't tell what time it is and the tailor apparently goes home way too early.

The sales clerk was very helpful with my shirt and tie colour for matching my suit for grad, very polite and I would recommend anyone shop here for high end shirts

We tried to rent tuxedos for my brother in laws wedding. They took all our numbers and said when the tuxes came in they would phone us to let us know. Fast forward a week before the wedding I notice I still haven't gotten a call I phone the store and the tuxes have been there for weeks now and they didn't bother to let us know. Then when we rushed over to see if the suit fits they were very rude to us, refused to acknowledge our existence when we waited by the counter, when we finally got them to talk to us to let them know we were waiting they were very backhanded and snobby. The tux didn't fit and when we returned a couple days later after being told the new alterations were made I tried on the tux and it was exactly the same they didn't change a thing. We're now 3 days from the wedding with none of the groomsman or groom with tuxes because this establishment refused to call us when the tuxes first came in, and were so poorly managed. Save yourself the stress and headache by never setting foot in the store.

Went there today and as always the service was great always makes my day! Thank you tip-top for having such wonderful emplyees! Till next time:)

Went to a couple different stores looking for a affordable suit. Had no luck or help until I went into this place. Was greeted right away. Took a little bit to look around the lady running the floor was busy with another person so a bigger guy came and helped us advising he had just recently had a stroke so he would be a little slow which he came right out and said. So I was patient. I went in knowing nothing about a suit and came out with a suit and a bunch of knowledge about them. He was precise I gave him a budget and he even came in 120 cheaper super impressed and happy.

I walked in there wearing dirty sweatpants and a tank top smelling like I just biked 10k in the sun (I had) with grease, dirt and sweat on me and Hadia didn't hesitate to ask if I needed help. I took a look around and once decided what I needed she helped with some measurements and picking out the best pants and shirts for me, she was sure to go out of her way to get the right stuff for me from the back! It was a relaxed and easy experience.

Staff are terrible here. I like tip top tailors selection and sales but I will never shop at this location again. The staff here will ignore you if you are trying to return something. We waited at the till for 20 minutes and the staff ignored us. They stood around waiting for people to try on clothes, but if there was a group of people that walk in they drop everything to help them. They just care about their commissions and nothing else.

After looking at Harry Rosen and getting zero service I walked down to tip top. Even though they were busier then HR I received fantastic service immediately. By no means the greatest quality items (get what you get at tiptop) but the service is 5 stars. Would give higher if I could.

Went in looking for two dress shirts last minute for a wedding. Was helped out above and beyond. Service was great and will be returning for about future needs.
