We recently used Tippet Richardson for a cross country move. The move was fine but they damaged a chair in the process. After filing a claim with them, there was radio silence from the representatives. Two months of ignored follow-ups from our end through emails, phone messages, voicemails, and broken promises of 'someone will call you by end of day' later we are still chasing the company for a response. Completely unreliable customer service and unprofessional behavior. You better hope they do not mess your items up or it will never get resolved or will be handled incompetently.

I’m not very happy with this company as during our recent move during Calgary’s heat wave, our portable air conditioner conveniently went missing,

Tony and Adam were super hardworking and nice guys in unpacking our boxes at our new home in Calgary. They were very helpful throughout the whole process. We send our commendations to Tony and Adam.

I am an employee. I write this review on this company with pleasure. I only worked here for 8 weeks before I was diagnosed with Cancer. Tippet Richardson did not hesitate to fully and completely support me during this past year. I am still not back to work full time, but my boss has been kind enough to allow me to work at my pace, as my recovery progresses. Sometimes reviews have to be about the core value of a place as well as consumer experience. This truly is a "family". I am grateful for the support they have shown me.

Our local clearing agents for our move from Australia but one of their four offices in Canada answer their phone. How on earth do you run a company that cannot answer phones.

We are in Calgary at the moment and my last resort would be to actually have to drive to your offices to be able to speak to somebody.

First of all, i have done many moves corporately around the world and this was a private move after we retired. Don't expect the same level of service on a personal move.
The Calgary end of our move to ON was great. The coordinator we dealt with was professional, helpful & knowledgeable. The packers were generally professional but the one doing the kitchen was grumpy and wouldn't let us leave our coffee pot or kettle out for the next morning.
The coordination at the Ontario end for unpacking was very good. They arrived on time and had adequate resources to unpack. They unpack and you try and keep up with all of them but that's impossible. All boxes were not numbered so you can't really know if they all arrived.here's where it gets bad. They don't tell you that you are supposed to catch all house damage (dings to wall, corners, etc.) before the driver leaves and have him accept responsibility for them. (like you took pictures of the whole house before they came to prove damage!) Later they'll tell you your moving insurance doesn't cover structure damage.claim denied.also, if you submit your claim and later find something is missing, too bad and the form clearly says so. Claim denied.finally, if you have damage to something they moved you may as well forget it. We had an antique canister damaged (1 0f a set of 4) As it effects the value of the entire set we claimed $100.
Also, when we asked about unpackers, the driver knew nothing, the local agent denied responsibility and we had to phone our coordinator in Calgary to get action.
They refer their claims to an adjuster company whose job is to deny everything possible, Megan K is good at that. Poor communicator though. She offered us $20 for our canister damage and the offer was good until the Friday. If we wanted to argue we had to submit some form of proof that the damaged canister was worth what we claimed. I have no &^%$# clue how during a pandemic i was supposed to do that! I responded back to Megan with a counter, received no reply and and $20 appeared in my account on the Thursday morning. I'm giving the $20 to charity as some compassion should come out of this experience.
So on a $13K move, they felt the need to argue over $80. Caveat Emptor!
Did i mention we were retired seniors? Do you think we'll refer people to this mover (Allied Van Lines). NOT!

Thank you very much for your assistance with my daughter's shipment form the UK. Everything went smoothly and was a lot more efficient than when I used FedEx to send her belongings to the UK in late 2018 so she could attend University.
I will definitely recommend Tippet to anyone looking at a local or international move.

Quick and friendly movers, even helped me with some last minute packing. Price was reasonable too.

Thank you so much Calgary team with our office move. What started off as needing only document storage, quickly changed to a 5000 sq ft office move. I was given 4 days notice to move the office and M.made it happen calling in extra help given the short time frame. Everyone was courteous, professional and on task. Thank you so much to M.and his team for making this happen.
