Absolutely blown away by the amazing atmosphere and even better service and food. The best pizza and appetizers I have ever had. Will be back again many times! Thanks for an awesome evening

Fantastic food from start to finish from the chef. Also received stellar service from our waiter, Taylor. We loved our experience at Tipsy and will definitely be coming back!

I went here with a few colleagues from work (total of 8 people) on wing Wednesday last week. We tried to call ahead of time to make a reservation but were told that they wouldn’t take reservations on wing Wednesday, which was understandable. The table we were seated at ended up not even being big enough for all of us to fit as we arrived one by one, and we were told next time to make a reservation to avoid that issue. Our server appeared to be extremely unorganized and unprepared for a larger table throughout the meal, initially not seeming to keep track of what was being ordered by each person.

By the end, our server had to reprint the bills three or four times and there were two baskets of wings that remained on the bills that never made it to our table. The server insisted that we got them and someone would have to pay for them. Myself and one of my colleagues decided to just pay for the extra wings so that we could leave, as it seemed that the server was not going to change her mind. We could have and possibly should have asked to speak to a manager to get it cleared up, but just decided to swallow our losses and get out of there.

The food was good enough, we only had the chicken wings and a few drinks. The service was definitely nowhere near the 20% gratuity we had to pay because our group size. One of my colleagues has been there before and said that they’ve previously had a good experience, so hopefully this is just an isolated incident with the one server. Overall, very disappointed.

Ive never left a negative review, however my experience at the Tipsy pig was less than stellar

atmosphere was fine, server was friendly, however lacking.never was asked for a refill on my flat diet pepsi, which would have been nice to choke down the cold fries and onion rings, burger was lukewarm at best

when I finally did get a refill with the bill the drink was non diet anyways

The owner is very disrespectful and does not know the idea of good customer service. Was annoyed when I asked if I table was ready 10 minutes after it was promised. Food was lack luster at best. The only good thing is wings. The other food tasted like it was from a wicrowave.

Best food I have had in a long time. You can tell there is pride put into every plate of food.

Terrible service and you pay a lot of money for food that isn’t worth it at all, and they take drinks before you’re done with them. Don’t come here

My boyfriend and I go to Tipsy Pig every Wednesday for the wings & pizza. The wing flavors are delicious and the pizza is outstanding (best homemade crust)!

The waiters & waitresses were committed to great service and were very friendly. The atmosphere is awesome and you can watch sports on tv from every table. Most importantly, every food and drink on the menu tastes great! Highly recommend.

My husband and I are so happy we found this place. They have awesome food and a great selection of local beer. Fantastic wings! The owners and staff have been so good to us. Check it out for any sports events. It’s the ideal space.

We were in Mar 18/23. They were highly accommodating, and the food and service were both excellent!

The food menu has a wider variety of choices than you’d often see at pubs. They do have typical pub food, but they also have the kind of things you’d expect to see at a family restaurant. Numerous pasta options and even a pasta bar which I thought was pretty fun, and unusual types of pizza that you generally wouldn’t see elsewhere. This also makes it very child friendly. (Granted this was a weekend, not sure that’s something that goes on everyday). The prices are super reasonable as well. I’ve paid more at chain restaurants for two people than we did here.

Cannot recommend this place. We sit in the lounge and we wait for about ten minutes just to be served. No waters or anything and finally we get served. The food was below mediocre. I ordered a fig jam burger and a mushroom soup. The soup come looking like a gravy. Then unfortunately they forgot my spoon as well. I tried the “soup” with my fork and it indeed was a mushroom gravy. The server even said it looked weird. But the bill was still the same no discount apology I just got ignored by the server when I asked him why the bill is the same due to quality. Do not come here if you value good customer service and great food.

Always good service. The wings are great, good selection of beers. I also like their pizza. I like to come back here often. The patio atmosphere is nice if you can get a seat there. All in all it's a great place with fair prices and really good service. I highly recommend it

Went in last week for a second try. The first time the server was blah and the food was ok. Decided to try again…we went in & 4 ladies working there were chatting and ignored us.
When one finally did come over we didn’t get a hello or how are you, nothing. Just a blank stare waiting for us to … I guess tell her where we wanted to be seated? Not cool. The table was dirty so she wiped it but then all of it was wet, couldn’t be bothered to grab a dry cloth and wipe it down.

We ordered wings, got brought the wrong one. He said “there is a saucy one & a dry one, I guess I brought you the wrong one”. If that’s the case then check while your taking the order? How would I know that. I don’t like saucy stuff so I asked for him to take it back, he left a menu & then we were left for another 15min before he came bk to get my new order.

Then my drink had lip stick on it! My drink wasn’t even comped on the bill. He did comp my wings but come on, there was a full set of lips on my cup that I drank out of.

I wish I could speak up for myself in the moment, but this stuff sends my anxiety through the roof. We paid for a service that was suppose to be enjoyable and relaxing, and this was not it.

Service was terrible coming from the owners. Made us order drinks when i asked for water. When I told her the pop was flat she started swearing at us in front of the children. Waitress (owners wife) asked if what my daughter ordered was "too much for her to eat rudely said you can't take wings home. No one to ask for refills or how the meal was going. We sat there for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Then the waitress husband came over and crumpled the receipt though it at me and asked us to leave.

Chicken wings were dry, flavourless and just plain awful. Pizza was decent but not worth the price. Come in for a drink or two. Skip the food.

Great experience. Good service. Nice atmosphere. Tasty food. I really enjoyed the chippers and mushroom soup. Looks like a great place to watch a game with friends. Lots of seating for groups, nice layout of bars and tv screens. Looks like good selection of drinks.
It's just pricey for my family (with the kids) so we can't go often. Pleasantly surprised they were so accommodating for children at lunchtime. (Not too busy)

Surprised by such lousy food. Attentive service though.

Reply to the manager: Instead of asking your customer to email and tell you what happened in your establishment, why not be a mystery shopper yourself. Try asking your friends to order a few food and look at the presentation and taste them. Then you will know.

It was a nice hot sunny day, they have a great patio for these kinds of days. Clean and enough space. It has plexy all around it, with umbrellas. I ordered the perogie pizza no bacon. It was ok.not what I was expecting. The potatoes on it were mushy from the cheese I was hoping they would be kinda crispy. Or more ontop of the cheese but it was it was. Pretty bland in flavor. I would not get it again and I cannot recommend this. I have been here before tho and had other pizzas and pastas that were better. The burgers are good too based off friends reactions. Nice chill place to go.

We’ve eaten here a few times, and always had an OK meal. This evenings nachos huge let down. For the most were swimming in a pool of oil. Mothers fish and chips were over cooked and tiny portions did not reflect the price. Did you change your kitchen staff, cos they need to be aware the standard is not great. Service was good as always, but sorry guys, food overall was a complete disappointment and it’s put us off coming back to our local.

Nice local pub. Good food and atmosphere. The owner is always there making sure things run smoothly.

Food was amazing. Calamari was some of the best i've had, ribs were fall off the bone tender and that bbq sauce was great. Penne and meatballs with rosè was great, and the lasagna was amazing.

The staff look over worked and exhausted. You feel guilty of asking them anything. Imagine getting served by someone who’s given their 2 weeks notice. Not rude but the vibe is so off!

This is go to place for wing night. The selection of sauces are great. I’ve tried most of the hot selections and I have to say that slamming’ sriracha is my favourite. The pizza is also very good. We have to try pasta night sometime.

The people who own this restaurant are great. They are very friendly and do their best to make sure you are happy. I do feel sometimes that the service can be hit or miss, however. It depends who you get. I hope they can improve in this area.

Enjoy coming here for hockey games. Tons of TV's and the food is great. Such a nice neighborhood pub if you live in Evanston

Dropped in for a drink and an appy. Salt and pepper dry ribs very tasty and meaty. Will stop again, when in the neighborhood.

Service has gone wayyyy downhill since it's opened. Servers are not very knowledgeable in recent months and don't offer refills unless flagged down, Menu is extremely outdated especially beer and specials menu.

Educate servers In attentiveness and menu knowledge, update menu more regularly and get a few more beer on tap and this place could be 5* easily.

The upside is the pasta bar is delicious fresh made to order. The patio in summer is also excellent!

Really generous portions, the food was delicious, flavourful and well presented. Staff were excellent!

If you like quality food, you need to go elsewhere. If you like flavourful wings, go elsewhere. We ordered dill pickle chicken wings and they came with only seasoning on one side. We asked to have them sent back and they still came out like in the picture. We ordered an extra dipping sauce. It came after we had finished all our food and the table was cleared. We still got charged.

We order another flavour and it came out plain. Had to send those back for some type of seasoning.

They boast they have 50+ flavours of wings. Maybe do 5 or 6 well.

As most will see this is one of only a few reviews I do. But trust me, avoid this place.

The server was barely veiling her snottiness and condescension and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder right off the bat, but the manager who greeted us was super pleasant and the food was absolutely fantastic.

I'll go back, but I won't put up with that server twice, I'd rather sit at the bar next time. Going out is too expensive these days to deal with snotty young women who don't get that they're in the service industry.

Went for dinner early and experienced great service, hot tasty crinkle fries and an amazing Backyard BBQ Burger.hot, juicy, BBQ Sauce.all terrific!

Best nachos I’ve had at a bar! And still they have some of the most reasonably priced beer I’ve seen in a long time. Our server, Kandis (I hope I spelled that right) was super friendly and very attentive. The entire experience was a HUGE step up from the last time I was there about a year ago. At that time I would’ve given maybe one star but those were harder times.

Excellent selection of food. Pizza is very good. The pulled pork pizza or bbq chicken are my favorite. House beer is easy drinking. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Be sure to check out their pasta buffet night.

Under the current state of affairs (Covid-19) it was a very nice atmosphere.

Had an amazing time tonight at Tipsy Pig Evanston all thanks to my server Helina. She was so welcoming and efficient. She made a great suggestion on the chippers to pair with my burger. 5 stars to her, the kitchen and the restaurant!

This place is a community restaurant with a great atmosphere and the food is outstanding too and great service too. Saturdays they have Build your own Pasta Bar at a great price. You pretty much have lunch for the next day! The owners are awesome and always make sure their customers are happy. Love it!

My wife and I used skip the dishes to get two club house sandwiches, we ordered before and it was great. This time everything was mushy and not appetizing at all. We ate the chicken and bacon. The restaurant completely changed the sandwich from what we had before. Not impressed.

Update: Christy from the Tipsy Pig reached out to me and wants to make things right. Sounds like the issue was skip the dishes. Changed to 3 stars, then Update again after I have a new sandwich.

After having the honey hot wings here and really enjoying them, I decided to order nachos with beef and extra cheese for delivery. Unfortunately, these missed the mark.

The toppings were all bunched in the middle, so I had a bunch of undressed nachos underneath and on the side. The beef was greasy and bland. Even taking into account that nothing tastes as good delivered, I'd say these were average at best. Definitely disappointed, not a well-spent $32.

Great service, very accommodating, I asked them to switch channel on the tv and they did. Nice selection of drafts.

Had lunch there today for a company meeting. We are not allowed to consume alcohol on the job, so it was meals and water. The meeting went way longer than it was supposed to, but the waitress kept on bringing us water. I would have been annoyed if I was in her shoes, but she did it with a smile. I hope our boss tipped her well. She deserved it, and the food was also very good. Evanston has itself a great neighborhood pub.
