I really enjoy the cuts I get here. Fiona is fabulous. While she was away I tried others and was not nearly as satisfied. For a good, relaxing, professional cut, Fiona at Tommy Gun's is who you want to see.
My second experience at Tommy Gun's was equally as amazing as my first. The meticulous process of fine lines and customer service was on point. I Went in to get a beard groom and was treated in a timely and proficient manner. The barber was polite and kept my face free from loose hair. Highly recommend.
Always get treated well here. Get a haircut and a scalp massage. They have very friendly staff. Lots of personal care products here for sale. Big screen t.v. 's, tablets and arcade games while you wait.
Was told to go here to get my undercut fixed, as my original hairdresser made it lopsided. I had also recently tried to trim the bottom a bit so it wouldn’t peek out of my wig. The barber spent the ENTIRE time chastising me for trying to work on it myself. Blamed everything on me, even when I tried to explain that the lopsided part was from the hairdresser. I told her it was supposed to be shaped like a triangle and she kept saying “straight across? ”, at least 4 times before she FINALLY understood I wanted it to be triangular. Well…I guess she still didn’t understand bc it doesn’t actually come to a point at the top. When I asked about the bottom looking wonky, she again blamed me, and then took it higher. I ended up telling her it was fine just so I could get out of the chair. So I paid $30 for them to fix my undercut, told them what happened when they sent me a text to tell them how they did, they said they’d investigate, and it’s several days later and I haven’t heard anything for them. And now I’m gonna have to pay EVEN MORE to fix what this woman did. Do not recommend, they’re apparently totally okay with shaming and poor haircuts. Thanks for making me feel awful and still not have the undercut I asked for
Went in after 6 years of being homeless, my hair was a effing nightmare. The stylist was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As well as welcoming and quite personable.
My issue came with the receptionist, extremely rude. Yes I understand I may not look like your normal customer. But I was clean, didn’t smell and have worked very hard to attain my base level of human decency.
When you comment behind someone’s back (like they can’t hear you) people may not appreciate being treated like they aren’t human.
I apologize that I came to get a hair cut, and didn’t have an appointment, for a walk in barber shop…… pretty safe it wasn’t going to be busy at 930 am on a Monday.
Next time I’ll come in on a Saturday when you’re busy and you can explain in front of a room full of perspective clients why you’re receptionist is extremely rude and belittling to anyone.
I really like the place the my they are very friendly and are kind. If your in a queue there is arcade machines upstairs and TVs. Once you finish your haircut they offer soda to you. Overall really cool place.
