Hosted a 40th birthday here. They gave us the back room and it was a great space. We had privacy for the group, were able to connect our own music to their speaker system and also had the football game on as well. The bar had a great selection of beers and cocktails. The food was amazing, it was a great family style spread and my guests were very happy with the quality of the food. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely host again at this venue.

Went to a great Networking Event here and the hot chicken sandwich and the beer was top-notch!

They were very accommodating to us as a young family with pregnant wife and 18 month old toddler. They had a high chair too! Bartender brought me both non alcoholic beers to try and our food came out early quickly! The brisket sandwich was AMAZING and our food came out really fast. The only reason for the 4 stars is the side of "chips" was literally like old dutch ripple chips! Lol. We expected maybe like actual baked potato chips or something, but other than that great experience. Our son had the jalapeño mac n cheese which wasn't too spicy at all for him. He had fun walking around and exploring after dinner and the staff were great and just smiled at him. It wasn't too busy and the other patrons didn't seem to mind either. Glad places like this are welcoming to families! We had a nice dinner. I took off one star for atmosphere only because the bathroom was really smelly. Clean but smelly lol.

Came here for a Can AM wrestling event, and the beer didn't disappoint. As a sober person, I was overly excited when they had 2 non-alcoholic options on tap for $5.00 a pint. My husband enjoyed the alcoholic People Skills and I was able to enjoy the same in a non-alcoholic version. Thank you!

Excellent service, incredible food and amazing beer. Highly recommend the mac and cheese and the chicken sandwich. Super friendly staff!

Went here with some friends for beers and BBQ. We a tried the BBQ ribs which won an award. For $20 you get 4 individual ribs and a scoop of coleslaw. The ribs were delicious but it was extremly expensive for such a small amount of food, not worth the price for such a little amount of food.

Beers were good however and service was OK. Next time I would eat before going. Not the place to go if your looking for a decent amount of food to soak up some pints.

First visit. Great staff and the atmosphere is very chill. The layout provides a view of the various vats and other machinery required to produce the beer. Downside is the pricing. Over 50 bucks for two beers, a smaller than average chicken burger and pulled pork sandwich. Both of which were served with potatoe chips. Tough to swallow in today's economy.

I went here for a birthday party and I can't express enough how much I enjoyed the experience. Laura helped me select a brew that catered to my personal taste and I was elated. Her co-worker behind the bar worked hard to serve our group. The food was delicious. I had the brisket sandwich. It was so tasty. The ribs were included in the appetizers but unfortunately weren't available for order. They too were flavorful. I will definitely return to this fine establishment.

I came across this Brewery and BBQ by accident while having my vehicle serviced. I appreciated the environment and décor. I had the Pete's Pils which was excellent and tried the BBQ from their inhouse restaurant being the Notorious P. I. G. I regret not trying their St. Louis Side Ribs but, the smoked Brisket Sandwich was excellent.
My only recommendation I would present is to explore alternative sides such as baked beans, potatoes or tots for example. Otherwise, and excellent experience. I will return to try more.

I wish I would have know about this place sooner. Amazing BBQ by Notorious PIG (brisket sandwich and ribs are flat out the best in town) and for a guy that doesn’t drink alcohol, the “no people skills” non-alcoholic beer is fantastic. Tool Shed is a 10/10

Good beer. Horrible food, tried the Nashville chicken and brisket. The price does not match the quality of the food. Over priced…

Will NEVER support any place that willingly has Trudeau hold a fundraiser!

The BEST ribs I've ever had in my life and some of the best service! Alicia was super attentive and made our visit extra special!

Teagan at the Tool Shed was AMAZING at helping us organize an event in the back room with such a short notice. The staff ensured we had a a great menu selection for everyone's food choices. Their brews impressed everyone. My personal favorite is the Red Rage. There were still other drinks served at the bar to satisfy all tastes. The staff was accommodating and super friendly. If they'll have us back, we would love to come back and have more events here!:)

My husband and I frequent Toolshed at least twice a week and he loves the beer (his fav is people skills) and I’m into wine which they always have a decent Pinot or Rose on hand but we come for the food … Best burger in town hands down and usually the ribs are great too … Love the vibe here and being a born and raised Calgary girl myself (grew up in Marlborough) I loveeeee supporting local and happy to say your doing it up right here:) Thank you

Had to come check out the Tool Shed after a good friend of mine raved about, as a regular customer of the Tool Shed he wasnt wrong.

I had the smoked beef brisket ($15) and their in house smoked ripple chips with smoky house dip. Every bite was heavenly! I couldnt decide what i wanted to be my last bite, the brisket or the chips with the dip! Both were so flavourful!

It was definitely worth the drive up from Edmonton!

Just got hooked up by these guys! Quality beer, super friendly staff, down to earth setting…. Highly recommend!

We went for a late lunch to avoid the lunch crowd. We arrived just after 1: 00 pm. We were the only ones in the front eating area. We got beer right away but did not get to order for 20 minutes even though we were the only ones there. We waited for 55 minutes for sandwiches and a burger to arrive. In the meantime the place filled up. After an hour and 15 minutes, with no food arriving, we had to leave so that we could pickup some fast food on the way back to work.

The beer was very good but unfortunately the service was so bad we don’t know how the food tastes. Very disappointing. I doubt if I will ever return. Don’t go to Tool Shed if you only have 2 hours or less to eat.

Update: Thanks for the response from the Graham and willingness to make things right. The beer is really good and it is unfortunate the the experience was not good for us

Extremely disappointed that I took my family to the Tool Shed for some Beer and in the past the Best BBQ in Calgary and was told that they were out of ribs, pulled pork, and burgers at 1: 30 on a Saturday. There wasn't a line up out the door, so it wasn't an issue of just running out. Was told that they have been out for a few days. I'm hoping this is not going to be a trend for business sake.

Beer was great, would come back for drinks only. 2 of us got the pork belly Bahn mi which super disappointing it consisted of mostly bread with one small slice of pork belly (equal to the thickness of about 2 pieces of bacon which left us hungry after even with the $6 biscuits and gravy side.

Went here for a private event and the space was big, open and lively. The service was great and the beer was even better. Had a fruity ale called passion and bought a few to take home. They have food on site that has some of the best ribs around so make sure to grab a bite while you are there.

Great tasting bbq tostados. Smooth red rage ale. Friendly service. Clean. Safe. Amazing large projected tv screen.

Great place for a beer and a chill time. Now that they have amazing food what could go wrong? The answer nothing, nothing goes wrong. Go drink beer, eat food, have fun.

Highly recommend this place. Been a go to for a while but in these times we have to support local and this is one of those places that you need in your life. So knowledgeable about beer it almost feels educational. Right? !

Tool Shed Brewery is a local (Calgarian) Brewery Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. There beers are amazing. My Personal Favourite is the People Skills Beer. Always a fantastic place to be with awesome beer and even better staff! Absolutely my favourite brewery in town and an a great after work watering hole. The core beers are great for everyone and the seasonal rotation is always something worth trying out.

Tool Shed has been one of my favourite breweries since 2015. Not only is the beer top notch, the people are incredible.
Recently we popped by for a pint during the pandemic and I was really happy to see how Tool Shed has adapted to what might be our new normal. They were using compostable pint cups, offering outdoor table service, and all employees were wearing masks.

Great! All around great, their passion and heart they put into their company let alone our local farmers and agriculture is unbelievable. Beer is phenomenal. Definitely a company to be a proud of for Alberta!

Would have been 5 but I was disappointed when I went to buy product and asked about 10% discount for taking the tour and I was told “no” there is not. My question is then why does it say online that there is.
Still will continue to enjoy the beer!

An intimate and descriptive brewery tour, we were well fed in samples and knowledge. All 8 of us had a great time!

I just dropped by to fill up my growler, they let me try almost all the beers on tap before I picked. They have a small patio out front and a nice indoor patio next to the beer tanks with some pinball games. The staff was really nice and the beer was delicious.

I love the way they have the taproom set up. There's a smaller area in the front with a bar to relax and then a whole area in the back with games and a couple pinball machines. A huge projector to watch hockey and sports on as well. The people here are super nice and the beer is really good. Definitely one of my favourites in the city.

A super cool experience and a really awesome company! Delicious beer, awesome people. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area for an afternoon beer, or if you're looking for something fun to do on an afternoon try the brewery tour! It's like how its made but in real life.

Really good, classic beer. I can't pick a favourite but the Cream Ale, Belgian Dip IPA and Star cheek IPA are Great. Cool atmosphere and large games room right next to the tanks. Chill staff. Always swing by when I'm in town.

The brewery has a large indoor patio inside the brewhouse during non Brewing operations. They have many varieties and many flavors for every palate. I recommend coming in for a flight before choosing up height as some of their stronger beers have quite a distinct metallic flavor.

Great staff, good time good beer all in all 5 stars. I'm not one to often give a glowing review, this place is great. They know their stuff when it comes to brewing always a solid choice when it comes to their standard brews. If you like beer and you want to have a good place to have a beer and chat with locals this is the palace to be. Also they have beer and meat trays at a good price come check then out. It's well worth your time.

Went here for a friends birthday for a tour, it was really good! They have a front sitting and sales area where you can buy your beer and drink it too! Their back brewing room is huge and open and they have another seating area where you can come in and drink and watch while they make the beer. I’m assuming they also do events because there were tables and a giant projector and screen. I’d never been on a tour before so I found their company’s history very interesting, as well as how they make and can the beer. They are family friendly and have a non-alcoholic drink for those who don’t like/can’t drink beer, and the staff was all very nice and knowledgeable. Great little place, and close to home too!
