Worse experience will never go there again please don’t waste time and money specially don’t go to RMT Tirhas first of all she stated late and finished 10 minutes before and also used her phone in between wasted like 10 minutes on phone. I asked deep tissue massage but she gave me regular massage I told her 2 time I need deep tissue massage. Will never come here again!

I am looking at the updated list on manulife of providers who they don't reimburse for. Your company is on it. If all was good your company wouldn't be on that list.

If you have Manulife benefits do not go to this company. I submitted a claim and it was declined as this company is on their black list. I contacted Emily after I spoke with Manulife as I was told the company has known about this since last year. Emily told me that Manulife was wrong and that they did have issues, but they have been fixed. She said she would contact Manulife and get back to me. She called my 20 minutes later with Manulife on the phone, as Manulife needed my permission to talk to her about the claim. Emily proceeded to tell me she would call me back. That was Wednesday at 8: 21 am. She never called me, I called that evening and she was gone for the day. I called yesterday morning and was told she'd be at work at 10: 30 am. I called at 12: 30 and was told she was gone for the day as she only came in for a massage. The lady took my name and phone number and said she'd call me in the morning. I received no call, so I again called her. She went on to tell me she didn't call me because Manulife said they would call/email my husband. I told her that makes no sense as these are my benefits, so why would Manulife be contacting my husband? She wouldn't answer the question. My husband has not heard from Manulife. I spoke with my boss who contacted the admin for business' at Manulife and was told this company has been on their list since last year to not cover due to billing issues and keeping benefit holders safe. I received a voice mail from Manulife's supervisor stating the same thing. Do not trust what Emily and this company are saying. Do your research and contact your insurance company prior to getting anything done here unless you want to pay out of pocket.
I have confirmed that this company is on the list, by logging into my Manulife account and clicking on the list.
I don't normally post reviews, but I want to make sure others are not taken advantage of like we were.

Not coming back to this facility, I paid for an hour but RMT comes in after 10 minutes after. She looks at her cellphone every now and then, not very good service.waste of time and money.

Best place to get a massage. Awesome and friendly receptionist and therapists. My wife and I both love to get our deep tissue massage here. Totally recommended.

Recently got a massage done from them! Massage therapist’s are awesome! Front desk receptionist’s are also very welcoming. You don’t need to wait. You are attended right away! I would highly recommend everyone to try getting a massage here!

I have been a client here for over a year. I find it very clean and professional and each of the RMT's who have worked with me have been very effective and nice too. I need deep tissue massage fairly frequently due to pain and stiffness from an old motor vehicle accident as well as my career, which has been very hard on my neck and back. The RMT's at Touch keep me moving and working. Thank you ladies

This place was good up untill a few months ago.

6 months ago. "their" system was down and couldnt use benefits.
Tried to manually submit my receipt to my benefit company and wouldn't go through.

6months later. Went, they said they accept the benefits, took the info prior to massage, came out. Same thing. It's down. But this time they admited they have been having issues with some of the companies.

Said you can try to manually submit again.

I'm not holding my breath. Out of pocket for a massage, that I would have booked somewhere else.

Massages were good, but can't go back if I'm paying out of pocket. Might as well not have benefits.

(update: insurance won't cover the massage. And even told me 'touch' tried also and would have known.)

Will not recommend to anyone, as I only got 15 min massage for 30 mins.
When I asked front desk only respond I got was will talk to therapist, respond was not very professional for me.

Yesterday I had a prenatal massage. During my treatment, a man walked into my room. Didn’t knock, just laughed and went “oh, haha” and walked out. No apology, no nothing. On top of it, I called and talked to the manager and she wasn’t aware this happened.

I am 35 weeks pregnant for reference - and any previous massage therapist (including the owner of another place that I see) massages my lower back, and hips. I told my therapist x2 (verbally and on paper) that I needed my lower back and hips massaged. She didn’t go near them. I would have been better off asking my husband to massage me at home.

Today when I called - the manager told me that this therapist was off sick. So not only was I walked in on during my massage, but my therapist knowingly put me at risk, and my baby, by being sick and that close to me. She wasn’t wearing her mask properly either.

Hopefully this review will get some attention, and maybe I’ll get a call back, be taken seriously and my benefits can be refunded. I definitely would not and will not be returning unless it’s made right. I looked forward to this all day, and was so disappointed I came home and felt so upset and awful. What a let down.

Awful place, had a complain and asked for the manager, front girl represented herself as owner, when i advised her that her name is not on the owners papers she started laughing and wouldn’t let me talk to the manager. So go to Sherwood park location much nicer stuff and nit same owner

They have got me in last second everytime I've booked. It's hard to get appointment on days where you know you're body needs care but you have to wait. For that reason I will give 5. The staff is friendly and professional as well. Not to mention it's a new and nice place.

I called a few weeks ago. The receptionist that helped me on the phone was unhelpful in that she didn’t communicate with the manager! I had symptoms of COVID at the time I couldn’t attend an appointment and they charged me for a no show. They already said it was okay initially and then the manager (red head) somehow “didn’t have that put down. ” I asked for some receipts a few weeks later for an insurance claim, and the manager told the receptionist to tell me that, they “aren’t willing to give me my receipts and send them to me if I don’t pay the no show. ” I have rights and I am entitled to those receipts. You cannot hold someone’s personal information against them. UNBELIEVABLY dissatisfied and disappointed. I will never come here again. I def will follow up with the manager and tell her how I feel.

Fantastic deep tissue massage along with some specialized tmj therapy. The location is clean and beautifully decorated. Going back again soon.

It was a great experience. I was having a back pain, wrist stiffness and got relieved within first time. Ms. Panisa did a tremendous job and very she’s very kind. I’ll definitely visit again.

They are a good place and I have been going there from last 1.5 years, however recently Manulife stopped accepting claims from them and they are aware of it.
They did not bother to inform me about this change and I ended up paying 113 from my own pocket. So check with your provider first.

I went to touch massage and wellness for the first time a couple weeks ago. This was my first experience getting a deep tissue massage and I really enjoyed it. Melissa was the one I was with and she was wonderful and making sure to focus on parts of my body that needed more work as well as asking me if pressure was good. I can’t wait to book my next appointment here as I know I will need it!

The place is neat and clean. The RMT Melissia provide best massage therapy. Billing directly to insurance company.

I like this place. Very calm, relaxing atmosphere, friendly reception and personnel. Chanya is a great massagist, time goes really fast, which I regret of. Always excited to go there.

Had a Relaxation Massage from Rizzia: - One of mg best experience ever. She is very professional and knows what she is doing. I have been to this place before few times but Rizzia was totally different, You can feel how professional she is right away when she starts massage. I would recommend Rizzia 100%

I visited Touch Massage & Wellness Tamarack for the first time and was happy that I did. Lots of massage therapist available. Room was nice and quiet. Location is close to home. I asked for a relaxing massage and Froyni did an amazing job. Never had an issue with direct billing.

The place is always clean and relaxing. I can look forward to a wonderful massage. My favourite therapist is Priscilla. She’s so accommodating in terms of my aches and pains and works through all my back and shoulder problems thoroughly. If I’m too tired I just fall asleep and wake up refreshed and relieved. Location is literally 2 minutes from my house so that’s an added bonus. Booking is convenient online.

I have gone to this location a few times now and love it - most recently I had seen Natalie and she was amazing! I have also booked with Chanya in the past who did a great job as well.

Every time I have gone for a massage I am welcomed by friendly staff and massages have been nothing but amazing! My concerns are dealt with by knowledgeable and professional staff!

Rizzia is wonderful. I came in with back pain and shoulder issues and her technique and deep tissue massage made all the difference. I have been going to this clinic for almost 2 years now and plan to continue going back. Very clean establishment and great service!

First time here and very impressed. Very clean environment very friendly staff. I had the opportunity of meeting with Chanya and my wife with Priscilla both gave amazing massages. We have been going there for more than 2 years now. The therapists are good but the new front receptionist or Manager as she calls herself Emily is rude, she is not aware of how to do her job properly. I specifically asked her not to direct bill to my insurance on 3 different occassions (including once for my wife) and on all three occassions she ended up direct billing to my insurance despite of making it pretty clear beforehand. This resulted us not getting the full 100% coverage. When I asked her to void the transaction and bill it on my credit she lost her temper on me. Please learn some basic lessons of customer service. Instead of going over and above for the customers, you are not even fixing the problems caused by you. Just because of you we will be looking for a new place despite of having decent massage therapists here. You are responsible for losing a long term customer forever. Thank you!

My first time here. Massage was just okay. Poor communication on the Therapist part. Paid for 90 minutes and made sure to arrive 10 minutes early, however I had to wait almost full minutes start time before the therapist came out. By the time we were ready to start I feel like I only got 75minutes of massage time.

Very clean I always get my massage done by RMT Michalene Joseph. She is great very professional. Will continue coming to this place.

First time trying this place out. Super clean tidy, and relaxing
atmosphere. I would recommended this place to anyone. Very traditional and feels like back home Thailand/Malaysia.

The first time I went here, it was a great experience. The second time, with a different RMT: the massage wasn't as good, she used less pressure than what I asked for, and although I paid for 60 min, it was around 50-55 min of actual massage time. Which may not seem like much of a difference, but when you pay specifically for 60 min, you want to get your money's worth. I will give them one more try and see how it is as I had such a great experience the first time.

I loved my massage at Touch! My RMT was Rizzia and she was fantastic, she checked in to make sure the pressure was good and she did such a fantastic job. The business itself looks so clean and chic, and everyone was nice and professional. I will definitely be back, one of the best massages I’ve had.

Overall great place but u can turn the 4 into 5 by not including prep work as massage time.especially since now there is more prep work needed due to covid so 1 hr massage become 45 min massage with 1 hr prices

I work all day on my feet, shift work - and came to see Natalie to address pain & aliments. I left the studio feeling like I could fly.

I did not have pleasant visit. I was looking forward to it specially by the name and how they had different options for massage so I thought I will give it try and get body massage. I was not accommodated the full massage time. I checked the time when massage was finished and I was surprised so I thought maybe they will charge me less bz the less time used for massage. At the check I was charged the full amount. I usually don’t make a seen so I came home called them about how I felt and how much time was used. They told me they will get back to me once they check the cameras.it’s been few days no mail or call.
It’s hurtful when you spend your hard earn money and don’t receive the proper service. Specially in the Covid time.
I am never going back again at this place unless they do proper follow up with appointments and Clients.

I booked a 1 hour massage with Rizzia Rivera and requested deep tissue. This was by far the best massage I've ever had. She was so attentive and friendly. The business itself is also very clean and has great services to make you feel cared about.

Good place and friendly staff. My wife told me to give them a good review. To be honest I made all reviews all at once this day to the places where I go i kinda start liking to do it all the time.

Had the best massage in my life today! Arunluk was amazing, the place was beautiful. Front desk lady was lovely. I came in and accidentally booked my massage a week out and didn’t realize, she quickly accommodated me that day and was so personable. Loved my experience.

I've had a few massages here and each one has been wonderful. The tables are wider than others I've seen and very comfortable. The heating pads and making sure they put something over your eyes when you turn on your back is perfect. The ginger tea they give afterwards is really good too.

*edit* I had one complaint but forgot it when I originally wrote this. My only dislike is the ticking clocks in the massage rooms. Not a big deal, but would be better without the ticking.

Very awesome experience! Went there with my boyfriend after kickboxing class, my boyfriend needed a very deep tissue massage so he went with Minty, and I had Rose. We got to be in the same room and we’re able to experience the massages together. He got everything he needed through Minty and I felt so relaxed with Rose. Both were knowledgeable and super friendly and sweet! I highly recommend!

This place is amazing. The new location has the best ambiance for an excellent massage. Their treatment choices are extensive, and Chanya and staff make the whole experience unforgettable.

I have been getting massages for several years on a regular basis, but here I have seen the most results in the shortest amount of time. With treatment at other places, I usually need to go home and sleep it off, but here I am blissed out but also incredibly energized! What a difference. I can't recommend Touch Massage and Wellness enough.

Chayna is a great massage therapist who I have been seeing for well over a year. She is attentive to your needs, works out the knots and provides a great overall experience. Her new location is amazing and the decor, atmosphere, and experience results in a very relaxing and enjoyable massage.
