We had Touchwood Flooring refinish our kitchen hardwood and install new hardwood on the entire main floor. This involved transitioning the old floor to the new floor, which was seamless, as the previous floor was recoated a number of years before. It was a sanded on site install and was completed while we were away for holidays. Upon our return we came home to a "brand new home" which was the exact colour we wanted and finished perfectly. Leona and Greg made us feel from the outset of the first quote about 1 1/2 years ago, thank you COVID, that we were in a set of trustworthy hands. Throughout the process Leona was always quick to respond you our questions and Greg did a fantastic job in overseeing the install work. Truly amazing service. The showroom has several different types of flooring installed through out. Way easier to see what it looks like then just looking at samples in a rack. We were able to bring larger samples home to help us decide. Leona was a pleasure to work with. Installers and delivery showed up on time and were very professional and friendly. I am thrilled with how this project turned out! Our 70 year old red oak flooring was in need of some love, and a more modern look. From the quote to the execution, everything was done professionally and on time. Leona and Greg truly go above and beyond for their customers and I am very grateful. We ended up staining and using about a 50/50 mix of “Birch” grey and a white to get this stunning ashy colour with a matte finish.

The previous owner had screwed down carpet into the hardwood in the hallway, and the team at Touchwood was able to match the wood perfectly. You’d never know it had been repaired! It’s expensive to source this old and outdated size of wood, but so worth it in my opinion.

Had our 60 year old oak hardwood floors repaired and refinished. The end result looks like a brand new floor! Steven and Brad take care and their workmanship is excellent. Matched bedroom flooring to existing oak flooring in the rest of the house. The floors look beautiful. There was a delay due to mismeasurement however Leona and Greg did what they could to rectify the problem at their own expense. The installers were excellent, showed up when scheduled, did a great job of installing and were exceptional with the clean up. A good company to work with.

We had our 14 year old "prefinished, beveled" birch floor (600+ sqft) refinished by Touchwood Flooring. Fantastic service, reasonably priced, and above all our floors are amazing, better than they were new! Highly recommend. If you're considering replacing your hardwood, don't! We had damage done to our hardwood wood flooring by an outside party. Out of all the other flooring companies we contacted for quotes Touchwood was the most reasonable and by far the most knowledgeable! They presented us with different options on a solution to our damaged hardwood. In the end we decided to have it replaced by them. So so happy with the end result! Twenty years ago we had Touchwood Flooring install an Ash floor in our home while it was being constructed rather than going with the builder's trades for this. The quality of the install and their work stood the test of time.

When our dishwasher drain hose burst and ruined a portion of our floor late last year we were quite upset. We waited 6-7 months hoping the floor would recover, but unfortunately it didn't. With Ash being much more difficult to source, and our previous experience with the durability of a factory finish, we decided to have the floor replaced and there was no doubt in our minds who we wanted to do this work.

The installers worked incredibly hard to remove and replace our hardwood floors in 3 days. Their attention to detail, sanding and levelling where needed to prepare for install was impressive and our new floor is rock solid, level and looks beautiful once again!

We are once again very happy with their work and are hoping this floor lasts even longer this time! I certainly hope so, as the next time around I am not sure who we will go to for this as Leona and Greg will likely be long retired by then!

Leona was our first contact with Touchwood Flooring Ltd. A family business that goes above and beyond. The teams that first repaired our old hardwood floors and then installed engineered hickory flooring in 3 bedrooms did outstanding jobs. They were very professional, on time and did beautiful work. One installer appeared to be teaching a young gentleman the trade (or was a new employee) and he was patient and knowledgeable. This is the second time we have used Touchwood Flooring, this time to update our flooring by replacing carpet on our upper level. Leona promptly visited our home to take measurements and send us estimates for different scenarios. They were able to accommodate our scheduling request and all the work was completed in two days as predicted. Everything looks great. Touchwood offers excellent service from selection to installation. The showroom is set up in a unique way - using the floors and walls in addiiton to having standard samples so that you can really get an idea about how the wood you are considering might look installed. Leona is really knowledgeable as well and I found her ideas really helpful. The installation crew did an amazing job and our floors look fabulous. They really work hard!

We contemplated refinishing our worn out hardwood or replace with laminate and save a couple thousand dollars in the process. After speaking with Leona we decided to refinish the floor and couldn't be more pleased with the decision and final outcome of the project. I experienced an incredible amount of disinterest and almost contempt, certainly overt rudeness, when I visited this place. A young woman tried to make that up and while I appreciated this I will not buy from this store. Note* I tried to deleted because this location is NOT the location I went to.

It was a pleasure dealing with Touchwood Flooring. Their whole team was very well organized and advised me of all details I needed to know during the entire process of sanding and refinishing my 1960 hardwood floors and installing tile planks. I had three quotes and their quote was similar to one other one but because they were so professional, knowledgeable, reliable and friendly, I decided to contract them. There was a delivery issue however they were quick to let me know of the problem and worked at successfully resolving the delay. Definitely one of the best companies I've dealt with to date!

Oh my gosh the entire experience with Touchwood has been amazing. They installed the flooring about two years ago and that experience was great and the performance of the product over that length of time has been even better than expected. Recently I needed a new transition piece from hardwood to other flooring and two years later they custom made that piece for no charge. WOW!
