Close to YYC and a great way to get connected to nature. The 5k loop is great for families and all levels. The other route is more challenging with inclines that are not meant for beginner hikers. Lots of roots. It's hard to enjoy the scenery in fear...

Stopped here with the family to stretch our legs and eat while on a road trip. Our little one got to play around in the playground while our eldest showed off his strength on the outdoor exercise equipment.

Super easy access to he river for your dogs to run and play. HOWEVER, it is Rattlesnake habitat!

Very cool place, atmospheric, cozy. Lots of interesting things to do, a nice living area, a children's playground. It is recommended to visit with children, but adults will also find it interesting.

Awesome petting zoo/farm. Admission is by donation. Such a variety of animals. We took our 2 grandkids (8 &14 years) and both loved this gem. Baby goats, emu, bunnies, ponys, various poultry and much more. A play area for the kids as well as firepit...

We found Ross Lake campground to be very peaceful. Enjoyed kayaking the lakes in the area.

Spectacular views of the confluence of the Smoky and Sulpher rivers.

There is easy access to the first outlook, but thereafter, the trail becomes more difficult to the remaining outlooks.
