It was a pleasure to buy a car from this dealership. After weeks of waiting on dealerships in Edmonton and Calgary, I contacted Toyota City and dealt with Shaina who went out of her way to help us, and we were able to purchase a vehicle right away for a much lower price than any big city dealership was willing to offer.
The staff were all so pleasant and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this dealership more.

WOW! What a difference. Tried shopping in Edmonton and it was an experience (not a good one) most places showed vehicles they don't have (factory order 6-9 months away) Toyota City had the price on their website (actually showed the price I didn't have to call them). We completed all the steps online, signed the docs and the vehicle is mine to take home all in just a few emails and a phone call. Yes cars do cost less in Wetaskiwin, and less headaches. Toyota City, thank you, this was my best new vehicle buying experience ever!

The mechanic is a big layer. I tried to pass vehicle inspection and I couldn't because the tires which are brand new middle class are defective. Can you imagine, all of them are defective. And he saw that just by watching them. What a talent.they suggested that I buy 4 tires for almost$ 1000 and I will pass the inspection. And I went to the tire expert and they said I can send this man to the court and he probably will lose his license. And to inform the tire company, which is Canadian, I did and am waiting for a response. And finally I went to other mechanic and I passed the inspection with no issues.

I recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Toyota city Wetaskiwin, and I cannot applaud their smooth non-pressure service enough, especially Scott Montgomery. My first experience with him was two and half years ago when he sold me a highlander. Which was a brilliant experience in itself.
I was so chuffed to have him second time around. In all my experiences of purchasing a vehicle, around the world (London, Brisbane and here in Canada), I have never had this relaxed holistic experience. No rehearsed sales pitch, nor any pressure to buy or make a decision. He is better than best!
Same goes for their finance person Yoomi. She discussed all the options but left it upon me to decide what I wanted and preferred. Again absolutely no pressure!
Their relaxed approach created such a trust bond that is hard to find in any field, in this day and age. I cannot thank them enough.
If anyone is contemplating buying a car, I would 1000% recommend Scott at Toyota City. Try and you will be more than grateful!

I just purchased a 2023 Rav4 from Toyota City Wetaskiwin. I was very pleased with the service I received from Scott (the salesperson). He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and talked me through "post pandemic" car shopping. Please ask for Scott when you go to Toyota City.

Had an awesome experience dealing with this dealership when purchasing our 2023 Toyota Highlander - they went over and above to treat us fairly and respectfully - loved our salesman Scott Montgomery, finance lady and Sales manager - would highly recommend buying your next vehicle here!

Oil change and general inspection was done this summer. Told all breaks were worn need to be replaced asap. Did brakes myself, brakes looked still good - replaced anyway then measured and compared to Toyota specs: front pads >50% life left, rear pads > 80% life left. This is per Toyotas brake replacement specs.

So the mechanic doesn’t have high quality calipers whatever. Not a big deal.
Just changed the oil myself. Using the socket specifically for the Toyota filter I struggled to remove it. So I put on my torque-o-meter: The socket warped the filter @ 76 ftlbs and wouldn’t grip. This filter, per Toyota specs is to be tightened to no more than 18 ftlbs.

Honestly I’m curious how they even torqued that on so tightly. Even with heat and wear they had to have put insane amounts of torque.

Ended up welding a new socket from 1/8” flat bar then crushing it on the filter and removing the filter with a strong arm. The filter spun at 88 ftlbs.

Whichever mechanic put my filter on has probably stripped a lot of threads on other peoples cars.

2 stars (not 1) because there was oil in my engine after the service so there’s that.:)

My husband and I bought a car with them and we had a really bad experience.

First of all, the car had aftermarket parts, which was not mentioned to us at any moment of the sale neither in the inspection.

We just discovered after being charged for a service at Hyundai (wich was suposed to be free due to the manufacturer's warranty) because the problem investigated was related to an aftermarket part.

When purchasing the car, Toyota City always affirmed that the vehicle had manufacturer's warranty, which was not true, as it was confirmed by the issue we had at Hyundai.

But what we got most disappointment was the way they conducted the whole situation. We contacted the dealership and they refused to solve the problem, not to mention that we didn't even receive apologies for what happened.

I trully don't recommend this place to anyone.

Best customer service. Very pleasant experience. Scott and Brian are outstanding. Anyone trying to buy a vehicle from Edmonton, Calgary should try these guys since they have best pricing and great customer service. I tried all the dealerships in Edmonton and they are all rip off. Will overcharge customers and blame it on "chip shortage".

I would never recommend or visit this dealership. A friend of mine bought a vehicle just 5 weeks ago from them and now has to pay 30,000 dollars to get it fixed and they won't do anything about it. They also lied to her about its prior accidents, you can tell there's been a few body pieces replaced.

Toyota city is amazing. I had the pleasure to deal with Dave. He is very friendly and professional and gave amazing customer service. I was getting the car all the way from Regina SK, and they made the transaction pretty smoothly. They also gave a discounted price on the deal and they got a car the fastest in western canada. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Amazing customer service and best for price!

If you want to have great experience with all levels of staff and of course PURCHASE a vehicle…this is the place to go!
My husband and I went to many dealerships in the city (Edmonton) and either no one was interested in helping or did not want to negotiate a better price or the vehicle was not even road worthy (so the dealership of course would work out a repair price in their favour).
Scott, our sales guy and Gilbert, the manager negotiated a price on a used truck that worked for us. The process was quick, efficient and painless. Financing was a breeze with Yoomi.

I got the pleasure of working with Scott, and I can’t say enough about this guy! Him and the team bent over backwards to help find me a vehicle that fit all my needs and worked around my crazy schedule, delivering cars 45 minutes away for me to test drive and the van I purchased, not to mention continuing to follow up afterwards to make sure I loved it. One of the doors jammed a week after purchase, they brought me out a loaner and fixed everything and brought me back my van (with a full tank of gas) no questions asked. Yoomi also was able to handle all the financing over phone and email making everything quite seamless and stress free. The whole process was a breeze and their customer service is really above and beyond. Thank you!

Inquired about a tundra, they are basically charging a $10,000 mark up on the hybrid version.
UPDATE: 07/28/2022.in response to the manager: If there was a conditional offer already in place for $10,000 over MSRP why would your staff keep telling customers that it is still available? Isn't that Truck now reserved to the customer that made the "offer" and should be considered as "sold". OR is it to see if you can get more than 10K over MSRP? Your justification for charging people way over MSRP does not make sense. Also I don't think anyone buying a truck is offering to pay 10k over msrp.

Hugo in sales wouldn’t even give me a all in price for a new Rav4 without knowing the financial details of my trade that I may or may not be trading, all I wanted to know was the all in number for the new car, and the trade value assessed and given to me. I just got a we need to know in order to build the deal properly lol.

I purchased a used RAV4 from Scott and he was very polite, knowledgeable and competent. I did not feel at all pressured and was very comfortable during the purchase. Yoomi explained the finances to us very clearly slowly which I appreciated. I will be purchasing there in the future. Excuse the name I was in a funny mood when I made this account lol.

Nolan was Fantastic to work with from my first enquiry to my final purchase. He made the whole process easy and stress free, I feel the Toyota city have welcomed me as part of the family and have made my choice to buy a Toyota one of the best I’ve made. Absolutely loving the car and the experience.

Nolan was great to deal with! He was very patient while I was trying to decide between two vehicles and he answered any questions I had. He and Cody made sure that all of my after market add ons were done exactly how I wanted them and I could not be more pleased with how my 4Runner turned out!

Took my truck in to have it detailed. When I picked it up and drove off and began looking around at the job done, it looked as if it hadn't even been detailed. Went back to the dealership and spoke to the manager (Corey) on shift, and immediately he agreed with me on the quality of the detail job. He said he would like to keep the truck to make it right, and provided me with a courtesy vehicle so my truck could be redone, as well as a free detail next time. Well, not sure if there will be a next time, as I STILL haven't received my free detail. The original detail was back in March 2021. I have tried numerous times to receive a call or email back from Corey or someone, and nothing. Just a heads up to all, you may want to rethink receiving service (s) from Toyota City Wetaskiwin. You try to shop local, but the service falls way short. Disappointing.

I have purchased over 30 New vehicles in the last 20 Years most with a good experience. However in trying to purchase a New 2021 Corrola from this dealership it was a night mirror come true. I seen the vehicle advertised on line that I was interested in and made an inquiry, a salesman by the name of Scott Montgomery contacted me back and said the car was available but could not confirm the low rate finance rate as his Sales manager was gone for the day and would get back to me in the morning. Upon getting back to me he informed the car was Sold 2 days a go but he had another one at the same price, not the color I wanted but the car I wanted. Agreed to make a deal at the numbers quoted on the website which included all dealership fees (I read the fine print) and I worked out the price on there website calculator. Was only supposed to be GST on top which I agreed to pay on top. However the numbers he came up with were $ 20 per month higher than what it should have been, was told a lame excuse about other charges not included, even though it clearly said on add what was included and not included. As a long time vehicle purchaser, I feel I was misled from the first Conversation with Scott Montgomery and he tried to play games with interest rates, etc. Worst salesman I have ever dealt with by far. Long story short I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealer and went to another Toyota dealer where I was treated with respect and fairness and purchased a better equipped Corolla than was offered by Toyota City for less of my hard earned Money!

Had a great car shopping experience at Toyota City Wetaskiwin! I had called ahead wanting to test drive a couple of specific vehicles. I was not pressured into higher price points, the sale went quickly, and Josh was really great to work with! Added bonus was the fact that they delivered my vehicle to me after doing some protective coating to it!

Nolan was very helpful. He arranged everything over the phone in advance to enable an easy trip into Wetaskiwin to pick up the car. Pricing was fair and he got me a great deal on the trade in. All told a much better experience and price than I was getting from Calgary dealerships.

Everyone was really nice and accommodating from my salesman John, to finance Nolan, and even the Sales Manager Cody (love his fashion statement!). They ensured me I'll be taken care of even after I drive home.

All the staff is friendly! They even have a play area for kids and free coffee! They gave me a great deal and made sure I was on the right track as a first time car buyer.

As far as rates, they worked to get me the best rate, compared to other car dealership I was looking at online.

Skip the Toyota dealers in Edmonton and come to this one. Definitely worth the drive out. Worked with Josh over email and phone on the deal. The vehicle was sold around MSRP where all the dealers in Edmonton would have at least marked it up by $1,500. Yoomi and Josh was able to ready up the vehicle within the next day. In and out of the dealership within an hour. Most relaxed dealership experience ever.

I genuinely had a good experience here. I enjoyed the staff, they talked to me like a person not a sale. I would drive two hours anytime if this is what buying a car feels like.

The Best TOYOTA dealership in Alberta. Far from what we experienced through other Toyota dealership in Calgary, we drove all the way to Wetaskiwin and experience a top notch accommodation. Hands down to all the staff and most especially to Mr. Nolan and Ms. Yumi. If you want a best dealership experience this will be on my top RECOMMENDATION LIST. I went to Toyota City last month when I was doing a bit of research regarding buying a new vehicle. Dave was great, and I did not feel pressured at all. He took the time to show me some new cars and he helped me with looking at used vehicle options as well.

We came to Toyota City from Edmonton. Nolan was our sales associate and he went into great lengths explaining the accessories of a RAV4 we’ve been researching for quite sometime. We also had 2 vehicles we wanted to trade off and they offered us a very good trade value and other perks we were very happy with. Yoomi arranged our financing and just like Nolan, she went through our options for financing available and offered us without any pressure other vehicle benefits we may like to have. They even provided us a loaner vehicle temporarily until our new RAV4 was ready to go. They also offered options to deliver your vehicle right to your doorstep! If anyone in upper management is reading this review, Nolan and Yoomi are excellent associates/managers. Today I have a appointment with this Toyota service for part replacement, first they told me it will take a bout 3hours for the work but this end out 6hours, the worst part is, they don't care about customer are waiting for so long, never give a head up for delay, maybe a call if you guys are late. This visit is just ruined my day.

I am one of these guys that says it the way it is. I bought a 2020 4 Runner from Nolan back in December of 2019 and I am only writing this review now because I think that it takes time to know whether a sales team and a product are genuine. I can tell you that I have purchased high-end German vehicles the majority of my adult life and although the product was always genuine the sales team were not always. My experience with Nolan and Cody at Toyota Wetaskiwin was not only genuine but special and after driving the 4 runner all these months I can also tell you that the vehicle is legendary for a reason. These guys are good people that work hard to make the purchase of a vehicle easy. The management have clearly taken the time to put together a thoughtful and knowledgeable staff. Sydney in finance was also a pleasure to deal with. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I promised them that when my wife was ready to switch vehicles that she "already knows" that we are only buying from Legacy Toyota City. I don't live in Wetaskiwin, in fact I have a Toyota dealership less than ten minutes away from my home in Edmonton. However, when you make the second biggest purchase in your life.you want to make sure you are dealing with the best.and well they are simply the best.

Great experience with the Staff at Toyota City.

I called into Toyota City Wetaskiwin to inquire about a Toyota Tundra I saw advertised. I initially was planning to just ask a few questions, because I was worried about venturing out while this pandemic scare is going on.that sure changed.

Th Sales person informed me that if I'd like he would be willing to drive the Tundra right to my house in Edmonton for a test drive. On top of that he assured me the vehicle would have a complete wipe down when it got there. I agreed and we arranged for a day that would work. That day came and he wasn't joking.he pulled up and sure enough, pulled out sanitizer and started wiping the door handles, seats, and steering wheel.

The truck was everything I expected it to be, and with the price they had it listed at making a deal was easy!

On the day we finalized they deal, they impressed me again by bringing my truck, and my paperwork right to my house to sign. Made the whole process so easy for me!

I was a long time customer of an Edmonton dealership (bought or leased 5 vehicles), and made the effort to get a quote here based on a referral. I know its a competitive market and you can't really go wrong with a Toyota and prices seem somewhat close. With that being said the staff here did everything right. In the end they came up with a price that was better then anywhere else. But along with that they offered excellent unbiased service, got me what I was looking for (not what they had on hand), and were able to offer some extra touches that made it a no-brainer to go with them. Price mattered but my choice to change dealerships ended up being because this group seemed to want my business the most. I dealt with Gilbert, David and Sydney. If you get any of them your in good hands. Service lady who's name escapes me was outstanding as well in getting some add-ons before pickup. Thanks all. Live in Sh. Pk and got a 2020 Tundra CM.

My Husband and I dealt over the phone (since we are in GP) with John, a well experienced Salesman with a ‘non pressuring’ attitude. Everything he told us about their new 2020 Toyota Tundra was on point and we soon drove down to take it for a quick test drive Before fully committing to it, the deal was sealed as soon as we returned with the truck to the dealership. On Dec 29 2019 contacted Gil from Toyota City Wetaskiwin about upgrading my current Toyota. After about 10 minutes he referred me to Nolan one of his salesmen. After a short discussion we were test driving a 2018 Toyota Rav4 Limited. Well needless to say this vehicle had everything I was looking for and more. To date this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I like to thank Gil and Nolan for the excellent service I received. Also I would like to personally thank Nolan for taking time out his busy schedule to come to my residence and set up the garage opener on the Rav4.
