My young son went to go pick out a toy with his hard earned money. When we go to the till, there was confusion about the price and I asked if it could be double checked- the clerk said with was $67ish based on the "math in her head". I asked her if she could look at what it rang in at, and she said no. I asked if someone could go and check the sticker price where we found it and this was also declined. I had three small children with me, so I had to run back myself to check the price with one child, leaving 2 unattended so we wouldn't lose our spot in line (which we did anyway because she couldn't bother to wait). Then once we got the price figured out, which not accurate by the clerk's "math in her heard", my son paid with cash with his hard earned money and we were treated as such an inconvenience that we used cash because she had to count it out. I won't be taking my children to TOYSRUS again. My child deserves just as much kindness and respect making a purchase as an adult. Not cool guys! Your customer service needs to change.

Brought my son here to Spend Christmas money and some Miserable Lady was Absolutely no help to us.

I tried to return a $130 lego set that I had paid for with my apple watch. The manager said she would only give me store credit, saying that it's a ToysRUs policy. She could only make refunds if I used a physical credit card. I told her that was ridiculous. My receipt says right on it that a full refund will be given with the original receipt. I told her to show me where the policy is written. She searched online and found something about PayPal purchases being refunded to store credit. I said, but that's PayPal, not an apple watch. She said it's the same thing.

I went to the ToysRUs on 32nd and they happily took my return, I tapped my watch and the money went right back on my account.

I'm very confused at what's going on at the Macleod location. It's obviously not a ToysRUs policy to not refund to apple watch. Did the manager really not know this, or anyone else who was working that night? Is the store saying this so that people will have to use their store credit so that sales stay in ToysRUs?

The manager was very rude and abrasive, with no positive customer service skills. Will not be going to this location again.

Worst experience ever! Went to return 2 things to worth $200 plus just to get to hear from that I can’t get the money back cause the employees of your own store threw the Mastercards away! I feel insulted and cheated as they tried to keep my hard earned money by just giving me credit from their store! Definitely never coming here again! Toys r us has been a favourite for myself and my kids and now this is the worst store to go as they make you feel humiliated! Not helping your customers or people in general. I would agree to your policy of it was my fault, but having to just bend down to your so called rules even when it’s the fault of your employees and not mine! I wish I could give this place no stars! Worst experience ever!

Went shopping for birthday gifts for my 6 year old twin grandchildren, who were very excited to see the fully stocked shelves, even after Christmas. Lots of welcome sale prices! Very helpful staff on the floor showed us where to find what we were looking for, and James at the checkout obligingly rang up 2 separate bills so that I could take advantage of 2 coupons I'd been given here in December. The icing on the cake was when I later realised I'd lost my wallet in the store or the parking lot. A quick phone call to Stacey was all it took to get the hunt underway: Karen found it in the parking lot as she was tidying carts on her way into work and took it into the store; Stacey saw my AMA card in my wallet, asked AMA to phone my number to verify that I was the rightful owner of the wallet, and then all I had to do was pick it up. A very enjoyable shopping experience with a happy ending. I am SO IMPRESSED by the staff in this store! Thank you, James, Karen, and Stacey.

We caught story time with Jeffery the Giraffe and did some peppa colouring. Random stop turned into a fum afternoon for my toddler. Thanks for being great

Good collection of toys and games for kids of all ages. Very good collection of strollers, child seats, bassinets and cribs. Limited cloth varieties and baby usage products.

I purchased a nerf gun that was faulty and they wouldn’t let me return it. The return policy is really terrible at this store. I’m out $85 and I’m never going back.

Great selection for babys and children. Good computer dept and reasonable prices. Staff customer service is awesome and lots of parking.

It's ok. The prices are all 20%+ higher than other retailers. The displays aren't exciting and the store just feels like it always did, a big box store with products from ages 1-15. Not a toy store or a destination.

They have the worst customer service. They had items in stock in the back but not on the floor that we were looking for so I was told to purchase the item as they couldn’t bring it out for us to have a look and make a decision. So I bought 2 different kitchen sets then drove to the back to pick them up then came back in to return one of them, I had to wait 20-25 minutes because there was only one till open and when asked about the manager it was another 10 minutes and the manager was rude enough to even acknowledge the issue and apologize

Toys R Us has a whole wall of latex balloons and they fill them for $1 each. I spent over $8 on 12 balloons and $12 on the helium fee for a total of $20. The confetti ones didn't even last 12 hours before they deflated. The metallic ones lasted 12 hours. I would not recommend getting balloons here. It took 30 minutes to fill 12 balloons - is that normal?

Thanks for a great Black Friday experience! I found the deals I wanted and staff was friendly. The store is well-organized, prices are up to date with no hidden fees or taxes tacked on at checkout time-just one more reason why this place will be my wife's and mine to go-to from now on when looking for cool children's toys.

Worst customer service. If you want to avoid a headache, don't go to this location. I bought some Christmas gifts today and noticed that they scan twice a $40 dollar toy. I went to customer service and waited for over 20 min, as only one till was open. I asked another cashier if she could help me as she was just standing there not doing anything and just chatting with other staff, she said no and told me to wait for the other cashier. After waiting for another 15-20 she finally decided to open her till and was able to help me. They have the worst customer service don't go here. On top of the worst customer service their prices are not that great.

I was walking around and saw the space jams toys and I was threatened for being near them and they yelled at me and almost kicked me out. Terrible toys r us.

My pickup of an online order was so amateurish. I cannot believe how they took what was easy and made hard. First I went to pickup door. No answer or anything. I then went after 8 minutes to inside store. Yikes. A maze to get through to pickup desk. Nope after waiting 5 minutes in line, not busy though, went to desk. I was told nope go through to Babies R us. Not a baby toy. I went inside again through to desk at Babies R Us. A guy handed me my gift. This part was easy.

It’s really hit and miss - a lot seems to depend on the first person you speak with about your issue. We had ordered some stuff on line to pick up in store (paid for it too!) but when we arrived at the store they couldn’t find it (it was a stroller) - there was one on the floor but we wouldn’t get a discount Other times they have been great! Items packed and ready to go. Maybe it’s computer glitches, but the computer is only as smart as the data that’s been put in, and it seemed more like human error.
Toy part is well stocked, narrow winding aisles give kids the sense of “freedom” while you can supervise the entire time.

I had an excellent experience with Naomi. She helped us out looking for a new car seat. She has expert product knowledge and very positive. Highly recommend. Deserves a raise!

I was going to pick up a gift for my friend, all was well until I got to check out. I was horrified when the cashier asked if I would like to donate to "Autism speaks". Now the friend who I was picking the gift up for sister has autism, so I know very well that this organization preaches horrible things when it comes to the spectrum.only 4% of the organizations budget actually goes to giving people with autism grants.further more autism speaks is searching to "end autism" like its some terrible thing, even funding test so that parents can find out if their baby is autistic in the womb so they can "get rid of it" which is terrible because most people with autism live long, fulfilling, and healthy lives, hardly any money goes into therapy research.there is not one person on their board with autism, and most of their marketing strategies involve fear mongering parents or villainizing children with autism.all and all it is a horrid organization, and it shocks me that a toy company would support it. I will not shop at toys r us ever again, until they stop supporting autism speaks and start donating to a better organization.
