I ordered a bike from Ontario, for my granddaughter in Edmonton. Online showed this location was out of stock. When I called to see how I could get the specific bike I was looking for, I was helped by both Tracy and Daniel at the store. Both of them did a phenominal job in assisting me and locating the bike at their store. Daniel worked on preparing the bike hold, while Tracy guided me through the purchase. I am very appriciative of their efforts in making this work so smoothly. Thank you too you both.

I’m just amazed how helpful MacKinley and Gayle-Elaine were today when I was in the store on 97 street. I made a purchase from the baby registry. As I don’t order online often I had several questions for the Ladies and they went above and beyond. This kind of service I received today is not often seen in this day and age. I will recommend anyone who goes to this store will be more than happy being served by MacKinley and Gayle-Elaine.

We went to get a gift for a birthday party. While there, a young (8 year old) girl walked in from 97 street by herself. The staff was AMAZING. They stuck with her, keeping her in the store until EPS and her parents arrived. They let her fill a shopping cart of toys she liked just to keep her safe in the store, and off the street. They would have had a ton of clean up before going home but the care they showed this little girl was commendable. Well done staff. You taught my little girl all about taking care of each other.

Wonderful employees. Who always are willing to answer any questions. Just purchased a stroller and as I was loading it in my vehicle. My work keys fell out of my pocket. I realized when I cane home and called immediately and started to head back there in panic. I spoke to the manager and kindly asked him to check the parking lot. His response was “well, I’m not going to scour the parking lot” - I hung up in tears and panic. It’s not his responsibility to go look in the parking lot, no. Although I assumed this would be a kind human to human help. I drove there and had another mom holding my keys she just picked up.
It would have taken him 5 min to go check for a stressed out customer.
Just disappointed.

Ordered online, the tracking they give you is completely useless. Looked and found out that they "attempted " to drop it off but couldn't and but never made any attempt to. (security cameras show no one coming) Contacted them and was told it would be 1 to 2 days before hearing anything about whats going on. Package is now being returned and I haven't even heard from them yet. Worse delivery system going. Defenitly won't be ordering online anymore.

When it comes to buying for our kids - Toys"R"Us has always been the place to go! Our visit today was to purchase a gift. We found some great options but we're definitely disappointed when we didn't see the Claire's section previously featured in the store. Overall had a good shopping experience!

Huge shoutout to North Edmonton Toys R Us and specifically Misty. It was my daughters birthday weekend and she got a Toys R Us gift card and all she wanted was a Giraffe Stuffy. When we came into the store we were warmly welcomed by Misty as she was set up at a colouring station. After chatting with her for a few minutes my daughter told her she wanted a Giraffe stuffy and Misty snuck away and went and called for Geoffrey to come and surprise her. My daughter was beyond excited. After our meet and greet Geoffrey even took my daughter by hand and went straight over to the stuffy shelves and we found a Giraffe stuffy that was perfect. On our way out of the store we were greeted goodbye and my daughter hugged everyone that helped us. Unfortunately later that day as my rambunctious 4 year old daughter was running around the house she tripped and hit her head and we had to make a trip to the hospital. She is okay! But during our visit to the ER she had her Giraffe stuffy whom she named Geoffrey. She was so excited to share her story with all the nurses and doctor at the ER. Everyone in the ER knew that she met Geoffrey the Giraffe and he helped her find her stuffy and that she has a new friend named Misty. As I sat there with her I couldn't help to feel like a good day went bad. I reminded myself she is 4 and the only thing that she will remember that day is her new friend Misty and Geoffrey the Giraffe.

Stock seems keep getting lower and the prices keep getting higher. It's a sad day when Walmart is the better experience.
Prices keep going up and stock is unreliable. Saw one toy for 85 that is around 50 elsewhere

The place was fairly busy but what toys r us isn't. The staff there were super super helpful. Went in looking for something very specific and was helped immediately. They were very friendly and accommodating. Checked inventory to make sure they had what I was looking for and everything.

Ordered an item online, with the $25 coupon code for the long weekend, only to have it canceled 15 minutes after it had been confirmed. Of course it was now after hours and the last day of the long weekend. Went into the store the following day and the item was no longer available, but they were very helpful and still gave me the discount on the replacement item. Gee, the cashier, was very pleasant and helpful!

Every time I've gone to this store I've been helped to the fullest. I went in today and Gail Elaine helped me in the baby section she has helped me multiple time before she is very informative and will bring you to the section you're looking for and walk you through all the deals and benefits of the products. I was also helped by Carol who was able to answer all my questions at the register. They go above and beyond to help their customers. I love this store. Thank you so much!

The employees here are nothing but respectful and helpful and make sure I get what I need in the least amount of time. Alyssa and Brenden are amazing workers and they helped me so much and I think they deserve the best. I have never been helped so good other than them two and I’m so proud you guys have these individuals on your squad!

Went to pick up a curbside purchase at the west side store and found out it was not at that store. Was disappointed that it was not close to my home and did not want to drive across the city again. Not sure why my purchase wasn't sent to the store closest to me so think that warrants a review for the website to make curbside pickup available at the store closest to the customer's home. However I had fantastic customer service from Eric, who chatted with me via text. He was most helpful and responded quickly to my texts. He apologized for the mixup and assisted me with cancelling the order. I believe in commending people when they go the extra mile to assist customers and Eric made my day today! Please share this with management so they know of his efforts. I've already passed my thanks on to him.

I had experienced an issue with my online order for curbside pick-up a few days ago. I expressed my frustrations and was contacted by Daniel - who I am assuming is the store owner or manager. He sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and vowed to make it right for me. He worked with the customer service team for online orders to cancel the order entirely and shopped the items that I had ordered himself, put them on hold and contacted me to let me know my items were ready. I couldn't believe he had gone to so much effort to remedy this situation for us. When we went in to pick -up the items he was extremely pleasant and apologetic. I was impressed to see that all our items were neatly packed away ready to be picked up. Even though I was very frustrated with the online ordering system, Daniel and Jonathan went above and beyond to correct it for us and to ensure our satisfaction. Thank you so much.i

I went here today to get everything I needed for my newborn. Ursela was such an amazing helper, she helped us pick EVERYTHING and stayed with us throughout our entire shopping experience and even created a baby registry for me.
Without her help, we’d probably be all over the store trying to figure out what we needed cause we forgot our list at home.
Shes super kind and truly deserves the recognition! Bless her kindness.

Ive been shopping at this location for years and have nothing but positive things to say about this location. Staff are for the most part knowledgeable and if they DONT know the answer to your question, theyre quick to find someone more knowledgeable to help, or go the extra mile to find the information for you. Stock is standard, and if you go in the mornings you can definitely see employees working tirelessly to stock shelves. Management has always been excellent, especially when called to the front to problem solve. In my many years shopping there I have seen them all handle countless customer complaints and issues with grace, compassion and respect.

Ive been to all three locations at different times, but the North Edmonton store will always be my favorite.

I bought nintendo 2ds for my son for christmas. After trying the game he just doesn't like it just on standby for 2 weeks! I decided to return or exchange for some xbox games either way. BUT, I found out they do not accept return if the item is open. The manager even said if there is even a problem with the product after opening it the customer need to contact the manufacturer. I will never going to buy from toys r us anymore. I better get it in bestbuy or walmart. No wonder they are losing customer because of this kind of term and condition.

I like this store. I do usually find what I am looking for, they often have decent sales around the holidays, and online has a decent selection too.

These guys have actually beat Amazon online sometimes in terms of price, and offer local pick up or shipping.

I have been into this location a few times over the last 3 years and I have had a bad experience. I would always choose to drive to the west location even though it was further away. I went in last night to get my car seats replaced after an accident and Ursula was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to get me two new carseats for my babies and help my mom get a carseats as well. It was refreshing to have someone so friendly and helpful give us a hand. Thank you Ursula for making me change my mind about this location and for helping us get the babies into new car seats.

I'm going to start off by saying I give this place 4/5 for general Toys'R'Us shopping. They often hold events on the weekends for kids to come in and play with some all kinds of toys, build/take home lego, and even paint your own Hot-Wheels car.

I'm pretty upset today however, as I took my kids to the paint a Hot-Wheels car event and because my wife works there she got told we had to leave because we aren't allowed to hang out at events. 5-10 minutes for the event and then we have to leave? I don't understand why my family gets rushed to do any event when anyone else doesn't.

This is more specific to the online store but I feel it should be shared to all potential Toys R Us customers. I ordered an item and the order was stuck in processing for about 2 weeks. I got an email saying the order was cancelled. Less than 24 hours later, the item went back in stock at a much higher price! I called Customer Service (after trying for the entire day because their phone line keeps hanging up on me or is busy) and waited an hour to speak to someone and they agreed to price match to the sale price if I reordered the item. I have placed the new order a week ago and the item is STILL stuck in processing. I requested to speak to a manager and I have also emailed the Customer Service line with NO RESPONSE AT ALL. To make matters worse, I was on hold on their main phone line for 1 hour and 4 minutes and after I finally got a hold of someone, I got hung up on!

Even though Toys R Us Canada has treated me like garbage I still placed another order with them trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but I am thinking I should just cancel it simply because this company is infuriating to deal with. Maybe your company should have stayed bankrupt if this is how you are dealing with customers.

2 months ago I went to an edmonton location and purchased a unicorn power wheel for my daughter's birthday for 250$. I was told this was a clearance price due to the item bring discontinued and the last one in store. First of all the head wouldn't go on proper so i had to go thru the manufacturer and wait whole they sent a new one which came and it still doesn't work. But the best part is my sister went into the same store recently and found the same item restocked and priced at 179$. I feel i was ripped right off by a company which is there for kids.who steals from kids?

I went to babies r us AND TALKED TO THE MANAGER. AND ASKED HER if I CAN EXCHANGE OR GET STORE CREDIT FOR MY MAMAROO THAT HAS A BROKEN TOY. SHE CHECKED MY BABY REGISTERY and said yes u can get store credit if u have the receipt so I told her I'll come back n get it.once I get there with the recipet and the mamarooo she tells me that 6 months of return policy is done so u cant anymore. BUT I just don't get why she couldn't save me the trip n trouble and tell me no from the start not get my hopes up n say bring them in? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. ON TOP OF THAt while I was still talking to her she walked away.and ignored me.north side toys r us is the worst!

I was pleasantly surprised by the store manager Brenda. I liked the stroller which was on offer the weekend before but there was none in stock. When it came available I contacted the store and Brenda offered to match the price + I did not have to pay the shipping which was very expensive. Thank you for going above and beyond.

If I can give less than a zero I will do -100. First of the story I order and Minnie Mouse toddler bed in store in the state of check-in for me to see if they have anything in store they did order I found it and their shelf so I cancelled the order Within half hour but they still couldn't give me money back after waiting in store for 3 hours to talk to the head office we couldn't get to a deal instead of receiving the shipment and then give it back to the store with a promise of the manager to give me the full refund back they decided to give me the cost of the bed only so it's a b******* it's a really bad store really bad head office and customer service really bad managers no true they full people all over it's really really really bad experience I will never shop and I will tell every friend that I have to not Shop from Toys R Us
