My girlfriend originally had another company come out and give us a quote, they were a no show. She called Tradewind, they had someone out the next day and at half the price of the other guys. I definitely recommend these guys.

Matthew was so prompt in fitting us in for a same day appointment. He was able to get our garage door to finally close without holding the master switch down the entire time. He moved our sensors, fixed the hinges on the door, and updated the weather strip on the bottom of our door without being asked to.
He took the time to educate us on what maintenance should be done throughout the year. My husband was unable to attend the appointment but Matthew made me feel so comfortable and taken care of.
We had another company come two years ago and said there was nothing wrong with our system but also offered no assistance into fixing the no close issue.
We thought we were in for a $5000 bill for a new door and motor but Matthew was able to fix everything for well under $200.

Would highly recommend this company! My garage door suddenly stopped working on Sunday and would only open if we manually pulled it shut/open. Called them on Monday morning and Matthew was at the house in about an hour to take a look. The garage opener had to be completely replaced - he came back first this morning (Tuesday) to do the install. Great communication, super friendly and fast service - will be recommending to family & friends for sure should they ever need.

Matthew was excellent to work with. Our cables and spring snapped and he provided same-day service to let us out of our garage. He was very professional and had quite reasonable prices. Matthew answered my call, and was prompt in his ability to provide service in 24 hours (he actually offered a same-day appointment, except it didn't work with my own schedule). He came to do the repair in the middle of a thick snowfall, and even blew the snow off my car that had been relegated to the driveway while the door was broken. His professionalism and knowledge was outstanding He helped the two of us with the working of the controllers and mentioned if we have any questions or problems do not hesitate in calling. Working with Bridget and Mathew meant replacing my garage door was easy and quick. Bridget was so helpful in the process of picking a new door. The results speak for themselves, Mathew did a fabulous job on the install.

Great experience getting our new garage doors installed. Matt and Bridget gave us a couple different options to help us decide, good communication on the timeline of the project. Happy with the installation and the look.

6. Polite, on-time, efficient, and like a craftsman of the distant past, he cleans up after he's done.

Fast, efficient service. Reasonable prices with no hidden fees. Had a question about our repair a week later. Called and he was at my door within 10 minutes! Great company, very happy with the service.

Highly recommend Matt and Tradewind Garage Doors. Small company, looks to be run by the husband and wife team but super capable. Respectful, cleaned everything up and hauled away the old tracks, door and opener, did a great job, and did it for a very fair price. Our door was delayed by several months after order by COVID-19 materials supply issues - they kept us informed about the delay, apologizing along the way (it wasn't their fault and we were fine with that) but it was worth the wait. When the door arrived it was installed within the day.

There was a hiccup during installation - the new door panels were slightly higher than the old ones and stuck up just enough to be blocked by our overhead storage when they rounded the corner of the track. Most companies would have stopped work and told us to clear the space and then they would resume - we didn't even know that the issue existed as Matt went way above and beyond and took it upon himself to take down all the storage boxes, crates, and the storage frame itself, and continued working. We didn't even know he had done all of this until after he was done - that kind of "get 'er done" service is WAY above and beyond in my estimation.

THIS is the kind of service that doesn't exist with just any company these days, particularly the big ones, so we are super pleased that we supported a small local business. We had never heard of Tradewinds before, but we will recommend them highly to anyone looking for garage door servicing or replacement.

Matthew with Tradewinds is a very hardworking, professional and talented individual who takes pride in his craft. I spoke to him last week about upgrading our newly framed area in our shop.
