We went in on Sunday knowing what model of washer and dryer we wanted so that part was easy but Tim was very helpful nonetheless. He did not try to upsell anything nor was he pushy in any way. He was friendly and even told us what days he was working should we have any questions - this info was also on his business card. The set we wanted was on a limited time sale at several other retailers as well but they were either only available online or was on special order with a wait of 8 to 16 weeks! Tim advised they typically make sure they order enough stock, for promotions or otherwise, well in advance. The set got delivered two days later (today). They called me the day prior to confirm our address & assured me someone would call again the day of to confirm the time. Someone called me this morning, confirmed the address & gave me a 3 hour window as to when i can expect the delivery. The delivery persons were very careful, quick and efficient and got it all done in 20 min. (we didn’t have old pieces that needed to be hauled away). Very happy with our experience thus far. Hope any future experiences with Trail will be just as positive.

Sales staff sent us all over town on misinformation and when confronted about it they tried to gaslight and say they didn't. The appliances purchased were also full of dents and scratches upon receiving them when they were purchased full price brand new. Don't recommend, there's better quality and priced appliance stores in the city.

Have had my washer serviced by Trail Appliances multiple times. Had an issue with our previous call out and the managers contacted us right away to make things right.

Shiera listened to what was being said and took the time to look into the matter and offered us a solution which went above what I was expecting.

Purchased all my new appliances today, washer and dryer, stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, stand up freezer, dishwasher, natural gas BBQ and wine cooler I was surprised by the total cost, way below my budget I couldn't be happier, the staff where very helpful and knowledgeable pertaining to all their products wide variety of makes and models on display great location aswell.

I cannot believe I am writing another review for Trail Appliance in less than 3 months to share my experience with their terrible and threatening customer service. For context, I built a home with Park Royal Homes so Trail Appliance was their supplier. Five months into my possession I noticed that one of the oven doors of my Samsung stove was locking and couldn’t be opened easily. I rarely use the oven, which is why I’m noticing the problem now. The only way the door opens is if the oven bar is lifted upwards first and then pulled back like normal. My father and I went to the 149 street location today (Nov 6,2022) to see if the same/similar Samsung models were doing the same thing.

When we arrived, Frank helped us. When we brought up the concern, we were actually able to duplicate the same locking issue we were experiencing. He helped us schedule a servicing (they are supposed to reach out to us). Great, I thought he was helpful at that point in time. My father and I continued to look at similar 2 door Samsung stoves to try and see what their latches look like to better understand the problem and why the locking was happening. After opening and closing the oven door about 3-4 times on a different Samsung stove, we were AGAIN able to duplicate the issue (so clearly, this is a poor design by Samsung). I opened it with the same technique that worked at home when out of nowhere Frank yells from across the store “WOULD YOU STOP THAT! ” He then proceeded to come and yell at my father and I about lifting the bar of the stove. He continued to yell at us and from my perspective basically accused us of damaging our own stove. It felt like Frank thought we were trying to intentionally damage DEMO stoves by lifting the oven bar upwards and pulling back. So customers aren't able to test out a showroom product? And what benefit or reason would we have to damage the product? If you didn't like how we were handling the product, Frank could have approached us to see if we needed assistance or politely ask us to stop. The first course of action was to publicly ream out a customer. Never have I felt so disrespected as a customer. At this point I asked to speak to the manager, Alvin. When I told Alvin that Frank was screaming at a customer from across the showroom Frank replied that he was talking loudly from across the room, which was necessary because of the distance… No, you were screaming at us from afar and proceeded to yell at us.

While Alvin was able to eventually calm the situation and finally understood our issue, he did several things wrong. First, he should not have allowed his employee to yell and raise their voice at a customer for as long as he did (he stood there watching). My father and Frank argued very loudly for what felt like a minute before he finally told Frank to leave and that he would handle this situation. Secondly, no apologies were provided. What does this action show to customers? It shows that Trail Appliance management thinks it is acceptable to yell at customer and become very confrontational as a first resort! It also shows the company’s lack of staff training on how to de-escalate situations and how to provide good service.

I hope the owners use this information to make changes so no other customer ever feel threatened and disrespected. This incident is the final straw for me, I don’t ever plan to shop with Trail Appliance again. For any builders reading this review, if I am building a home with you and I see Trail Appliance as the supplier, I will find another builder.

My husband and I just built a house in north edmonton with Coventry Homes. Trail appliances works with Coventry homes to ensure customers receive the best service and deals in store. They even price matched without question! We had the pleasure of dealing with Magic and he definetly took the time to assist us and pickout appliances for our entire home! After walking away from a high-pressure sales employee at another vendor we walked into Trail. We were greeted by Anant who showed us exactly what we wanted to see, but also gave us the space to talk and decide what was best for us. We really needed a stove and fridge that was available for pickup same-day, and he showed us just that, and nothing else.

Anant has a no-pressure sales approach which was so welcome and greatly appreciated. Kudos to him!

Highly recommend checking these guys out when you’re in need of exceptional service!

READ ALL - FIRST PART ABOUT A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORE, and then how Trail Appliance North rescued us, and Trail gets THUMBS UP and FIVE STARS for their help! We especially want to say thanks to Frank at Trail Appliances North! We had already bought a fridge two weeks earlier from (HD), a big box chain store, and EVERYTHING was a nightmare, from missed delivery, no call or updates, misinformation, and three departments that clearly don’t communicate with each other. Even after we (cancelled and got refunded) for our order with HD, they showed up to deliver a fridge 10 days later.
The day we cancelled with HD, we went looking for another fridge, and THAT is where Trail Appliances Northcomes in, and thank goodness we found them! A man named Frank came to greet us. Pleasant, no pressure. He LISTENED. He was empathetic. He then went above and beyond to help us. He found us the perfect fridge for a great price, and able to deliver quickly after hearing we had already lost $300 worth of food. The fridge was then delivered on time, and the delivery was a DIFFICULT one. We have narrow basement stairs with limited space, and the delivery guys had to figure out how to get it down, and our old fridge up, and they did a really great job. They were very polite. In fact, all the staff, from start to finish … sales to payment, to delivery were great. Thanks for a great experience. “We will be back”. Haha. Highly recommended.

Well, I'm at it again. It appears Trail Appliances doesn't have much knowledge about the products they sell. They don't know that a new KitchenAid range will damage the backsplash behind the range because of the heat generated by the vent. They don't know that the seal on the oven door isn't good enough and will eventually damage your cupboards. Trail, including the General Manager Terry Bartlett, Sale Manager Sunny Grewal, and salesman Samir Aradati do not seem to care about customer service. They put it off to Whirlpool Canada who also doesn't really care about customer service. Whirlpool even went so far as to say the product was performing as designed. Which can only mean that they design a product to damage its surroundings. I wonder why Trail Appliances would even sell a product that intentionally causes damage to a kitchen.

After a deep dive yesterday into a possible solution, it appears that Whirlpool offers one. A stainless steel backsplash for a slide-in range. However, there is nothing on any website to indicate why you would need this product. Neither Trail nor Whirlpool suggested it nor did either of their representatives seem aware of it.

Very disappointed in Trail. It's so easy to be a good company when everything goes right in a sale. However, the true test of a good company is when they fix what goes wrong. I get it. As the buyer I could have done more research. However, there is absolutely nothing about the damage to the backsplash or cupboards on any forum that I could find. Service was very aware of the problem but the service department and the sales department do not share information. Now that's quite a disconnect.

My husband and I came in today ready to buy a new fridge. Not a single staff member acknowledged us when we entered the store. And aftering wandering around for 20 or 30 minutes looking at all the different fridges and trying to figure out what we wanted we still hadn't had a single staff member speak to us or acknowledge us. Definitely will not be purchasing anything from here after that complete lack of service.

After multiple service calls they were unable to repair the leaking water on my new fridge claiming it was an issue with no solution. Next the dishwasher they installed incorrectly caused water damage to our new cupboards. Needed to contact Samsung directly to get competent repair people to resolve these issues.

We were in the market for a new washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave in March. It seemed an arduous task to research and compare models, makes, prices, and delivery options and perks at multiple stores.

We were looking for a high end gas range for a kitchen reno and went to Trail Appliances North side in Edmonton. We were taken care of by Magic, one of the sales reps. He walked us through all of the ranges, and we found exact what we were looking for. Magic was able to put a package together for us with a matching range hood and an optional highback trim piece. He was then able to expedite a rush shipment for us. The team at Trail Appliances excelled with delivery as well. Everything went off without a hitch. We are very satisfied with the products and the service we received. We would not hesitate to go back to Trail Appliances and work with Magic for our next appliance purchase.

Terrible experience at the North end Trail Appliances. My partner and I recently went in there to purchase appliances for a whole, newly built house & were treated with no respect. Our builder gave us a $4500 credit to use at Trail, and when we were there "magic" was our sales rep. The credit was not all we were looking to spend but when my partner ask about a top of the line fridge, "magic" told us it was out of our budget. Wouldn't put together a package so we could price everything out, as well as basically told us we were wasting our time and weren't going to receive any appliances since everything was back ordered, and left it at that. We are 20 & 21 so I understand were small fish in a big sea and probably not going to make him a lot of money but he was so rude. Ended up going to the South end location & had a phenomenal experience. Lana helped us out from beginning to end, put together 3 different packages so we could compare, and we walked away having spent ~ $13,000 in appliances that WILL ARRIVE just as we need them. Just because we were young & didn't have a lot of money to spend "magic" didn't give us the time off day.

Bought a new house thru Lincolnberg 1.5 years ago.unfortunately it seems we had to buy appliances thru Trail our oven has had nothing but problems called them thet came out and repaired 1st problem. Now the oven just shuts off when it feels like it. Called for service and I did not get extra warranty. So now they want like $169.95 for 2 techs to come look at it then $24 for every 15 minutes till they come up with a plan. Then order parts and we start all over again. I am pretty sure Lincolnberg buys all appliances from you guys.

We call Frank, and tell him what we need and what features we want. He tells us what he has. We look at it on the internet and have a look at the appliance and the rating, etc.then we get the one we select delivered and set up. I'm not sure what is better; the.quality of appliances or the service we get. We have done this with a number of appliances and have been very pleased each time. We just ordered a Bosh dishwasher yesterday. Comes Wed, installs Thurs.

I went here to buy a fridge, I was ignored for 30 minutes on the nearly empty sales floor. So I approached the counter to just pay for it. Once they heard that I was going to put it in a lunch room at a retail store, they saw their opportunity to take advantage. They said there was no "extended warranty" and I asked about regular warranty. They said that there isn't any such thing for commercial spaces. This was a huge red flag, so I didn't sign. I told the woman at the counter that I would have to investigate this on my own and make sure that it's true. Then she gave me the female to female lowdown manipulation speech and again, I refused. 2 weeks later I get a call from a man, Iman I believe, in sales, telling me my fridge was in and when can we schedule delivery? Except that I didn't buy it. I was like hmmm are there any notes there? No. So I asked to talk to my original sales woman and he lied and said no woman were in the office. Then he interrupted me, mansplained me, and was upset that I was defending myself. Would I ever shop here? No. Would I warn every woman I know never to shop here? Yes. It's like a car dealership, you have to bring some balls with you to buy an appliance or be treated fairly. In my research I found that they did in fact lie their butts off and another company was more than happy to give me a 10 year warranty no matter where I install it. The fact that we have to take time out of our day to put up a review to warn ppl that the sales guy was an a total lying A$$ is not what I wanted to be doing on a wednesday.

Magic was very helpful. I expected to be at Trail Appliances for a couple of hours buying appliances for a new build. Instead, Magic had great advice and suggestions and I was out in 45 minutes. He had emailed specs for all the appliances I had chosen before I got home.

We purchased a new stand up freezer for our basement. I researched the the make and model beforehand, and compared prices with a number of suppliers. Trail Appliance was the most affordable by far, and had the largest selection.

We had selected units and narrowed down to two before we arrived in store to view in person. The selection process went quickly when we viewed in store. There was an in-store mark down on the unit we selected, which saved us close to $150.

The staff processed my purchase and payment quickly and arranged delivery for the following week.

My delivery date and time was confirmed the day before and day of the delivery date. The delivery team arrived within their delivery window and brought the unit into our basement without any issue or damage.

Overall, we had a great experience. We highly recommend Trail Appliance for the purchase of any home appliance in your future.

Absolutely perfect experience! The sales staff greeted us at the door and was very nice and presentable. They helped us with finding our new appliances and gave us all the space we needed when we were just looking. Very friendly and helpful. The delivery team was also amazing! They disconnected, removed, installed, and reconnected the appliances and hauled away the old ones. Super friendly and quick as well. Would highly recommend! Great job!

Purchased new appliances in November 2019. It is now January 30,2020 and our whirlpool dryer has finally been fixed and installed. It was broken from day 1. Now I put more fault on whirlpool than trail appliances but I do feel as if I was bounced around from one customer service rep to another. Also the gentlemen that finally came to stack the dryer put marks on the walls, the door handle and the washing machine. Now I'll take part responsibility for not reading the delivery checklist but after everything it was a kick in the pants. I missed 3 days of work waiting for people to show up and not coming. Its ironic considering everyone told us not to buy samsung and to only purchase whirlpool and whirlpool turned out to be the nightmare.

I enjoyed shopping in trail appliances with hospitality pizza and helpful sales Manav. His professional knowledge provided full confidence to me that I trusted totally all his recommendations according my boss (wife) preference. He also showed his great effort helping me to get the best deal during the boxing day shopping. I ended up buying all the appliances for my new building house in about an hour. I deeply appreciation his sincere service even though I cause him working far overtime since I arrived a bit near the closing time. The reason I was late because I have no intention to buy anything on that day. I just wanted to window shopping around preparing for my new house supposed to be finished in fall next year. Finally, I got all the appliances ordered in advance with good price in boxing day sale. I guess I made the right choice ordering everything during the best deal of the year.

Troy at the south side location was excellent. He was knowledgeable and polite. I really appreciate and respect a sales person that is honest and educated rather than pushy. Sales rep was Manav Gulati, he was very professional, polite and courteous. We went shopping during Black Friday, great prices and excellent service.

Lesson Learned.never ever buy their extended warranty.it’s all B. S. I purchased a microwave in feb 2018 with 3 years extended warranty. Few week ago, a problem occurred and the door stopped closing. I call Trail and they said they don’t do repair so I should contact the warranty company. I called the company and they give me another number to call (their local repair partners. Trans Global). Long story cut short, after a series of calls and false promises by them, here I am. 5 weeks after the damage and no sign that the repair will ever be done.the local Trans Global repair technician has royal habits of working.he works only from 8 to 4 and don’t work on Saturday/Sunday. He never accommodates our request for schedule. Either me or my wife has to stay home for him (and take off from job, which costs us way more than the microwave value itself). Is it worth it?
I complained to Trail and they said the guys will contact me soon.another week passed and no action.

We had a REALLY great experience with our sales person (Maniv), he made our purchases go smooth, economical and timely too.
The store was great too, good overall experience!

Sales consultant was great at North store. There when I needed him and disappeared when I needed to talk to spouse. Pick up at warehouse was a different experience. Show photo id, wait until manager signed off on purchase, show photo id again at warehouse. What would happen if manager wasn't available? Maybe hire warehouse staff capable of checking paperwork? Never had this much trouble picking up at Leon's.

I have been dealing with Saaid J at Trail since 2014 and couldn't be happier! He is the most knowledgeable sales person I have ever dealt with. I am able to send my clients for selections and they are always impressed with his service and sincerity. Highly recommend you speak with Saaid!

STAY AWAY EXTENDED WARRANTY SCAM I call it. Week 4 and my 14 month Samsung washer is still dead my my clothes locked inside and ruined, at least 400 bucks gone! One and a half weeks just to get Trails contracted service out as Trail washes their Hands of you once the one year manufacturers warranty runs out. Anyway tech comes out a week and a half into the issue To diagnose, main board as I thought.

One and a half more weeks to get the board (I can get it locally I’m sure), I have to chase them for an eta as there is no communication from this so called service outfit, I call and ask they say once we get the part than we have to fit you into our calendar, could be another week or so!

Never again will I do business with trail, I have bought from them since 1995 as has my entire family. Should of gone to reliable COSTCO, there I can drop it off or at least get service and not spend time and be up within 2 weeks which I can tolerate. 80 bucks at laundromat and fuel getting there, this is why I got an extended warranty right?

Lesson learned big time! Sad part here is Trail is aware of these issues and continue to sell this EXTENDED Warranty to their clients, Shame on you TRAIL!

Great experience and professional customer service by Saaid Ahmed Trail Edmonton south side.we bought appliance package for our new house and He is the most knowledgeable and experience and was just an -email or phone call away to help from spec's to installation options or to get accessories.
