Hello,

I have purchase many appliances with trail appliances and this is the worse experience I have with your sales associate Manov Gulati. My client have been patiently waiting for a replacement of a fridge that was delivered with a dent and was mark on a delivery slip and was told it will be replace. When we have reach out to Manov and his response was it was not cover since client did not notify him within 24hrs of delivery.

I have to change this reviews due to the change in the customer service help and sped in the service they provided. The refrigerator was replaced and also the communication was excellent. I really appreciate the help and explanations given during the whole process.

We bought a house and got all the appliances from Trail. The Trail is even not ready to listen to the problems.in less than 5 days.

The house was bought on Oct 18 2023 and possession on Oct 30,2023. The appliances were brought in by the builder on Oct 18. When we requested that the refrigerator have problems and we could see the insulation lining, and the cleaning was not even done. The reply was "We can't do anything you need to contact the Whirlpool company directly"

the worst service ever. My biggest mistake is to even call them. Really bad customer service.

Daniel O.and his team was great. He was very knowledgeable and no pressure sales. We were able to pick out a great fridge and they delivered it the next day. The delivery team was very professional and ensured all our needs were met (Calling technician to ensure he was coming to complete hook up of water line). Over all it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend going to see Daniel and his team at the Trail Appliance Center on the south side!:)

All sales reps were great to deal with. Fun conversations. The delivery men were amazing. Pleasant and extra care was taken to ensure my animals didn't get out.

Jake diagnosed a faulty dryer relay, repaired it, ordered a replacement, installed it. He called each time to confirm, showed on time, friendly and professional. Trail Appliances is our choice for service.

The best thing about shopping at Trail was the sales person, Nam. He was very helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. It was a very pleasant experience. We are happy with our purchase and will go back when we need another appliance.

Today we had trail send us a service professional to bypass our outside water sources from our water softener. Josh was the plumber, and he was efficient, polite, cordial (was kind to our dogs), but more importantly was a polished professional who really delivered excellent customer service! Henry was awesome! Customer focused. We have purchased 10 appliances over 5 the last few years and Henry has been great in all transactions, always going beyond what was required (even if he was not getting any commission). In the 10 transactions, we had 3 different salespersons - one has retired, and 2 are still working there.and Henry is the best by a country mile!

Great service from Manav who helped me select appliances for my first home. Very knowledgeable, quick and helpful. Great bonus was the selection on the floor was during a sale which was way under my budget! Sonali also was helpful with the final invoice. Overall a great experience in store. Looking forward to using these choices with the extended warranty

Worked with Steven to get a new stovetop, not only was he so knowledgeable but incredibly helpful. As well he totally eased our apprehensiveness as first time home buyers purchasing our first appliance! The whole team from start to finish was top notch, will be back for our future needs!

Went in to buy a washer and dryer pair, salesman was great initially but had a bit of communication breakdown. Manager stepped in and corrected everything. Went above and beyond. Would recommend

We had our brand new gas range delivered on Saturday AM. First the delivery was early Next, Pauly & James, the delivery guys, were AWESOME! Professional, couteous & swift. They took our door off with care, took the old range out & brought the new one in with the same care! THANK YOU!

Keilen was fantastic to deal with arranging my purchases for my new range and dryer. I would not hesitate to revisit for my future needs.

We had placed an order for our appliances through them about 6months ago. Right after possession (After 6months) they said they don’t have that available in stock. They offered me another model with higher price but asked us to pay the difference. Why would we pay the difference since it was your fault that you don’t have it in stock. We also asked them to provide us loaner dish washer guess what, they don’t have loaner service available. Really disappointed. They couldn’t adjust about $350 in price for inconvenience and due to their shortage in stock. I am really disappointed that they couldn’t bear the difference of $300 on them even after giving them $17,000 business. Please do not go to these guys. You will be disappointed. You won’t get your appliances on time but you will get SORRY from them.

Found exactly what I was looking for here at Trail. They had it in stock and priced better than the others. The customer service was excellent and they followed up with me after delivery to make sure everything was operating properly.

Do not trust that advertisement reliable parts. I went there for simple things and may be one complex part.they had nothing not even a lightbulb. Can’t even organize a simple shipment of parts, it was a waste of my time and gas

My family and I came in to choose appliances for our new home. Sales associate Meenu Durma was very patient and accommodating with our questions. She was incredibly helpful in her advise regarding smart choices and went above and beyond her duties to ensure we are satisfied with our selection. We are grateful for her expertise and great customer service!

I would not recommend purchasing anything from this location. Not only did the staff not know the features & benefits of the products they were selling (2 sales staff & 1 manager). They had different pricing displayed and tried to charge a higher price on their quote, the staff attempted a cover up story and said it was a misunderstanding, however it speaks for itself. I wouldn't trust a single individual in this store.

Inde Kaye, Sales Consultant, was a pleasure to work with in ensuring we had a stainless steel dishwasher with the desired features and a microwave for our Pigeon Lake cabin. Knowledgeable, personable and efficient. We chose the extended warranty for peace of mind. We also requested delivery and professional installation by an amazing plumber, Alex, who ensured the dishwasher was fully up to code as this particular dishwasher requires a distinct electric outlet and a water turn off valve was also installed - a safety feature he automatically installed. Alex is precise, meticulous and tidy to boot. Amazed that one professional plumber can remove and install a dishwasher with such ease. Fantastic service!

We bought an induction cooktop that did not match the specs on the manufacturers website. This was only discovered after opening the box. The cooktop was returned to the store uninstalled within 24 hours. Indi and Sunny provided amazing ("Four Seasons" level) customer service. Fast super friendly return process. Other appliance stores can learn from these guys! Waived the restocking fee. Highly recommend.

I dont like the services I got from the name AnJU.when we went there for the first time around June 1st. I dont think she wants to become in a customer service.when you asking something she will say NO.like can you give me a great discount she will say NO.and does not aware what is real sales person with a customer service.second time July 24.she does not know about price matching.she said its before the delivery, when it changes then you get that price.not after 30 days.she is there to work and sell but no attachment with good customer service.

After completing a major renovation which required non venting dryers for both upstairs laundry and a small space downstairs laundry, I went to Trail Appliances. From the time we walked through the door we were greeted with smiles, allowed to browse knowing there would be someone available if we had questions. Terri-Lynn Moulding was our associate and she was committed to finding what I needed. In the end we purchased two all in one LG units; one with larger tub capacity and one smaller as well as a frigidair upright freezer.
All 3 were delivered as promised on the day I needed them to be by careful, friendly, courteous young men,
I was also advised of the price policy and benefitted when I purchased a pedestal for the larger unit which I will have to wait to receive.
I highly recommend Trail Appliance for purchases, I have not yet used my appliances so cannot attest to after sales service, but I expect it will be the same, excellent customer service!

I went to Trail to look at kitchen appliances. Anju was very helpful in finding the right ones to fit my very small kitchen, especially the refrigerator. The sizes have changed since my kitchen was built. Anju never made me feel rushed to make a final decision. She was very friendly and helpful.
The prices were good, and the selection was great!
James and Mason delivered my appliances yesterday. They were fantastic! They were very professional and polite. I was very pleased!

The sales person Manav said "You cannot afford it".
- Had the worst sales consultant throughout the whole buying experience. We were required to buy from trail appliances because of our builder. Were told to contact Manav. This guy is arrogant. He did not like that we picked different appliances other than what he recommended. He makes rude remarks, always rushes us, does not listen when you talk and does not even look at you. One time I was talking to him about what I want yet he kept looking at all the other shoppers (literally turning his head) the whole time I was speaking. I had to repeat what I said. We let it all slide and still try to be respectful until today when we paid the remaining balance and decided to exclude their extended warranty. He literally said "oh you're removing it because you cannot afford it" It wasn't even a question. He just decided I cannot afford it. LOL. What kind of a sales person is that? If you go with Manav make sure to dress well and look rich so you don't get the same treatment as us. So far, all other staff that helped me are pleasant except Manav the 'sales consultant'. I will update once they deliver my appliances and see if it gets better or worse.

I was originally using a counter placed distiller and was finding myself cleaning it frequently and only producing limited amounts of water. I wanted to find a solution that was less maintenance and would produce more water without interruption. After talking to Talyor over the phone at the 9880 47 ave location, he recommended the k5 drinking water station. Talyor was very knowledgeable of the product and coordinated the install. The install was done very professionally. I have been using the K5 unit for over a year now and I have to say it is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. If looking at getting better water quality at your home or business I strongly recommend this locationcompany. Thankyou Trail Appliance/ Taylor for providing me a good experience/product.

Lots of stuff (like the water filters I needed) and good, friendly service. A bit slow and calling ahead didn't help locate my product.

Would give Zero stars if able to. Bought a washer and dryer set for my mother in law in October of 2021. They’ve promised twice that the item will be in stock to deliver to my home. It’s been three months and I still don’t have a dryer. Now they are trying to sell me a new dryer that will not match my washer. Staff have been rude to my mother in law and they are not living up to their original agreement. Free advice, don’t shop here they have no integrity.

First time dealing with trail appliances heard great things. Dealt with salesman Tim, ordered and delivered within two days. Randy the delivery hand was very helpful and professional. Great experience overall. 5 star services

We went in during the week to look around & see what trial appliances had to offer. The selection of appliances was vast compared to major stores and prices were reasonable also. A gentleman by the name of Greg Lamorie had approached us & asked if we needed any assistance. We informed him that we were looking for a fridge & stove. He asked us questions on our preference of brand & showed us in detail what the store had to offer. Even though we weren't buying on that particular day, Greg still did some measurements for us and gave us valuable information on each product, I was very impressed by his service & product knowledge. 2 weeks later I had decided to purchase from Trial Appliances & visited the store & asked for Greg since I was so happy with the service he provided that I wanted to make sure I get the same sales person. Greg was again very helpful and spent a lot of time with us showing us several ranges. He explained in detail delivery options & fees. You can ask any question about appliances, Greg is the guy who will help you genuinely 100%. Greg truly cares about his customers & goes the extra mile to help you find what you are looking for. If I ever need to purchase any further appliances, Greg is the sales person I will go to! Thank you Greg for helping us purchase our new stove & Fridge.

I had to replace my microwave after a dutiful 13 years. Sheri Massie at Trail was unbelievably kind, helpful, and efficient in getting me a new model despite recent supply issues etc. What I thought would be a 10 min decision turned out to be more complicated and she was fantastic at helping me navigate all the ins/outs of model/trim kit/etc. Anju was also very kind and helpful at the store when I came to pick it up. Overall an easy and stress free experience.

I would like to say that my experience at Trail was excellent. Paul was very informative and let me know what was in stock and I am so happy he told me about the induction top. It is the best, I would never go back. Even though we had some hiccups, he ordered the parts that we needed. Thank you Paul Brooks for everything you did and still doing for us. Happy customer.

Unfortunately, supply chain issues caused the delay of our gas range delivery by months, but our sales associate, Josh, warned us to expect that, before we made the purchase. Once it arrived, Josh notified us and promptly scheduled delivery. The delivery guys moved our old range into the garage, at no cost. I would deal with Josh and Trail Appliances again!

We had Josh come to install our microwave and trim kit. He found out the hole was not the right size so with the help of my son-in-law they cut it open and got it installed perfectly. Thank you Josh for your patience and good work. We really appreciate your expertise.

To anyone considering buying from here, don’t. From the get go our appliance didn’t work. In a year it underwent 3 big repairs and still never worked properly. Just after the one yr Mark the appliance completely died. The store won’t deal with the lemon they sold. Do not use this store for your appliance needs. On top of that the manager who is the son of the owner is the most arrogant, condescending, rude excuse of a manager that I’ve experienced. Do not waste your money at Coast.

I recently went through my first experience of building a new home and when it came to selecting appliances, I was completely overwhelmed. Sunny (Sales Manager) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to go through all of the options with me to make sure that I ended up with appliances I love! Thank you Sunny.your quick responses to all of my questions, no pressure attitude, patience and kindness played a huge part in the the incredibly positive experience I had building my new home.

Their kindness saved us in a pinch. Very very friendly and helpful staff. The warehouse pick-up system is efficient and the staff were very professional. It is a very large store that is super clean and well organized. Very large staff that seemed to all be doing something for someone. Much thanks and appreciation for their help.

My family have gone a month (Oct 16/19 to present) without a working fridge This happens at least once a year and we have gotten ill a few times eating spoiled food. Extended warranty replaces the same component every year after your floor is damaged and food spoils. They won’t replace the fridge though because this is normal? ! Customer service extremely disappointing. How many people are going to tell me “sorry I can’t help you” Is this what the salesman recommended appliance for $5000 gets you these days? ******July 7/21 update**** ice maker broke down six months ago a warranty guy looked at it 4 months ago and never came back! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!

We went to a few places and this one had the best service. Low pressure, our sales consultant, Lana, was really nice. Delivery was fast and professional.

Update July 13 The kick plate has finally been installed. Dishwasher does not leak. Hopefully the dishwasher has no more issue. It is quiet & runs well. Never did hear from Shiera.
Update: June 25 Called Shiera as suggested just after 9am & left a voice message. Shiera did not return my call. Her voice message said she was in but on an another call.
Sonny is working hard to get this resolved. The part for the inside back wall was quickly brought in. The technician installed it. Ran the dishwasher & it did not leak. Hopefully the leaking is fixed. We will be convinced after a few more uses.
Still waiting for the kick plate & still don't know what extra part we are being charged $100 for.
Hopefully we don't have any more issues with this dishwasher. Still not convinced this is a floor model & not a returned dishwasher that had existing problems.

We bought a Kitchenaide dishwasher June 12,2021. Paid $200 to install it & $75 to deliver it. Paid extra for the extended warranty. We had been told it was a floor model. It just had a chip control panel but it worked. It was delivered June 15. It was installed the 16th, when it was installed the installer noticed the kick plate is missing. Charged another $100 for an extra part, we don't know what that part is. Trail has ordered a new kick plate. We ran the dishwasher June 16, it leaked & it wouldn't shut off, we had to flick the breaker to shut it off. Called Trail on the 17th was told they can't take it back & give us a new one. Sent out another technician on June 22. On June 22 technician had to reset the control panel. Ran the dishwasher that night it leaked again. Sent photos to service. Received a call on the 23rd we were told no technician could be sent out until July 7th, my husband told them that wasn't good enough. Trail sent out someone today the 24. Found why the the machine is leaking, the plastic on the inside of the back wall is cracked. Now we are told that part has to be replaced & ordered in. This is ridiculous, We want this machine out of our house, either give us another dishwasher or our money, preferably our money. This is our second appliance bought from Trail in less then a year. This is the absolutely the worst service. Trail got the better deal in this transaction. Very unhappy

We recently built a new house and Matt from Trail Appliances put together our appliance package, I cannot say enough good about my experience. He was so good to work with, he worked to accommodate our budget perfectly and he was quick to get back to me on any questions or concerns. We came to trail to get all new appliances for our new build. We were helped by Aaron Kenney. This guy is hands down the best sales consultant I have ever dealt with in any industry. Incredibly knowledgeable, and even though we made it a long process for him with the many changes he was super happy to help right to the end. He did lots of research for us finding the right appliances and at great prices. There is no other place anyone should get their appliances at.

I dealt with Steven Ellis and Matt Kirdeikis for my recent home renovation. The service was exceptional. They both kept me updated with the status of my new appliances and were great to deal with. I would definitely recommend Trail Appliances.

Good showroom, nice range of appliances. I personally found it a little more expensive than others with an instalation fee of close to 200$ plus delivery charges of about 90$
Would recommend buyers to see this place and compare rates with others as well especially the instalation rates and the delivery charges

AVOID SUB-ZERO! I spent $27,000 at Trail Appliances-Edmonton South on two Sub-Zero BI fridges which were installed in Q42020. As the photos show, the drawers on BOTH of the fridges are crooked. The right corners stick out about 1/3 of an inch. Trail's distributor, Bradlee, and Sub-Zero have advised that there is no way to fix this-apparently there is a manufacturing zone of tolerance for drawers that is not stated in any of the literature provided to buyers or designers prior to their revision of the design guide in March of 2021. In February, Sub-Zero offered me a cosmetic allowance reimbursement which has not been forthcoming to date despite numerous follow-up emails. Not that a rebate will make up for having to look at the crooked fridge drawers every day for the next 20 or so years. Future buyers-save yourself the hassle of dealing with Bradlee Distributors and Sub-Zero and buy another brand.

Great service not so good refridgerator. The Veggie drawer does not stay on the rails if you put more than lettuce in it.

I purchased a dryer on trailappliances.com this afternoon. Levi Morgan, Sales Manager in Calgary, called me to facilitate the sale, delivery, and installation. Trail has a new e-commerce site up and running. As with most new applications, it’s got a few glitches that they are still ironing out. It complicated my purchase, but Levi ensured that it wouldn’t inconvenience me in any way. He was able to get a machine for me locally, and arranged all the logistics and installation to take place in one day, early next week. Other vendors were offering delivery dates of six to ten weeks from now.
I can’t say enough about Levi and the team at Edmonton South. Trail is a local (Alberta) company and wants your business.
If you need a new appliance, give Trail Appliance a look. You won’t be disappointed!

I purchased all new appliances for my new infill in Edmonton and had a fantastic experience. Shirley in Calgary helped me find exactly the right appliances at the best price. She then coordinated with Trail in Edmonton to deliver and install everything. Ashley in Edmonton was so wonderful to work with and really helped me out with timing. I was only in Edmonton for the day and Ashley made sure my installation and the delivery of my last appliance all happened while I was there. Fantastic team in both cities. I couldn't be happier!

I have purchased appliances from Trail Appliances for years and have recommended them to friends and relatives. The next generation of my family is now purchasing their appliances here as well. Benny Broderick and Terri-Lynn Moulding from Edmonton south as well as Danny Perla from the Calgary store have accommodated family members with recent new purchases. The assistance, product knowledge and all around professionalism exhibited by these folks is always appreciated and keeps us coming back. Customer service of this quality is refreshing.

Meenu was very knowledgeable about the higher end appliances. We appreciated her honesty about pros and cons. She was readily available by phone or email whenever we had additional questions.

I Bought all of my appliances from Henry Geskes At the southside location. I won’t deal with anyone else. He is honest, down to earth and never tries to upsell me. He provides me with knowledgable guidance on what to purchase and his after sales follow up is really nice. I have recommended him to anyone that I know that’s looking for appliances. Thank you for always doing a fabulous job for me Henry.

The sale experience was great. The sales associate did a great job of explaining features of the appliances to us, and answered our questions about them. She steered us to appliances that met our needs and fit within our budget and was able to suggest units based on her own experiences that would do well for our family for many many years to come.

The overall sales experience was very relaxed with no pressure. We didn't have to wait long for (most of) them to arrive either.

While the appliances we purchased were phenomenal, I'm not thrilled with the delivery and setup.

First, we were told that all 4 of the appliances would be delivered (Microwave, Range, Washer, Dryer), and that we would receive a call 30min before their arrival. This call never came. The delivery guys first said there was no microwave in the order, and just a washer and dryer, then it suddenly appeared in the truck. The Range however was not there.

Then after they brought the units in, they left after the paperwork was signed. The new appliances were never installed and it resulted in having to call the store and have another person come out to actually do the installation. A 30min advisory call was requested again, and this call never happened. The installer showed up.

We also found out that the dryer we ordered came with the hoses and didn't need to order any. The ones we bought are stainless steel braided but it would have been nice to know that we didn't HAVE to buy them.

Overall, half of the experience was pleasant, the other half was not. Would I purchase here again? Depends on the deal.

Last Wednesday our over the counter microwave over conked out.
It was a Panasonic Genius model, purchased at Trail Appliances 15 years ago. It had worked great for 15 years. We went over to south Trail and purchased a new Panasonic microwave oven that same day. We arranged for installation on Friday. We couldn't have been more pleased with how things went. The installers Josh and William did a fantastic job. They were prompt, courteous and well versed in the work. They were very careful and the installation came out great. Special shout out to Sonny the installation manager and our sales person Lana Haynes.

Meenu was fantastic. She was able to show us exactly what we wanted based on our list of features and within our price range. Her knowledge really shone through and it was a really pleasant experience overall.

Aaron Kenny was very helpful in getting everything sorted for us. We look forward to working with him in the future.

We were searching for a stand-up freezer to put in our garage, but were uncertain of what size and brand we wanted. Sunny was able to suggest a variety of options and answered our plethora of questions. We are very happy with our purchase, and the delivery was on time with zero issues. Terrible customer service (if any) Was asked to drop off a water sample, which I did months ago. They will not give me results and do not phone back, despite me leaving them multiple messages over weeks, cannot speak to a human being, just leave a message so we can ignore you.

I Purchased a couple Miele appliances from the south side location yesterday and I want to give a big shout out to Meenu for all her hard work and dedication to her job! I have bought appliances from Trail on two occasions, and have been extremely pleased with the level of service both times. They really make the process seamless. If you ever have a problem, they address it right away. Their installation partners are excellent as well! Highly recommend.
