We bought a new refrigerator (Whirlpool) and stove (Maytag) from Thomas at Trail Appliances. He did lots of research for us to make sure we got all of the features that we wanted. We are thrilled with our new appliances. They fit perfectly and work great.

When the fridge dies, it's not a good feeling.

13 years ago we bought a maytag washer & dryer. Thought it was time for a new set so we went in to their new location which is a great layout. We were greated immediately by Aaron Stevens and he showed us all of the models and explained the features, we wanted stackable but weren't sure if we had the height in our basement. Aaron printed the spec sheets for the sets we liked so that we could go home and ensure they would fit. Went back the next morning and purchased an Electrolux set, Aaron was so helpful setting up the delivery within 2 days. The delivery was amazing, they took the old set away and installed our new set with all new hoses and hook ups. Could not be happier with this transaction and cannot say enough about how helpful Aaron is; all of that service is why we buy here and not home depot or costco (and the prices are the same as the other stores). We bought our stove, dishwasher and fridge set at our first visit and the salesmen was amazing with helping us out and had alot of patience with all of our questions. We enjoyed our visit so much that when it came time to replace our washer and dryer, trail was our first go to and it, again, was a wonderful experience and the right price. Any other appliance replacements will be 100% dealt with them.

I was a fairly loyal customer until my 3 year old LG fridge quit. Trail sells them but doesn't service them. They tell you to call LG. The two companies that LG told me to call weren't able to even look at it for ten days. I bought a new fridge from another store that services what they sell. I won't be back to Trail.

I’ve had 3 appliances quit on me this year: OTR microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. For the last two, I dealt with Matt Paterson who works out of the red deer location. Matt was always on the ball, knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and was able to get me some pretty attractive pricing. Would deal with him again, and recommend him to others.

I heard good things about Trail from friends who'd purchased appliances from them and I wasn't disappointed. I appreciated being informed that I would need a parts kit to hardwire my new Bosch dishwasher; saved me a trip!

We went to Trail looking for kitchen appliances! Cliff Johnson was really easy going and super to deal with! We told him what we were after and he didn’t waist his or our time with things we were not interested in! We moved here and needed new appliances. In the past we have always used Trail Appliances and have always received excellent service. This proved to be no different here. Jim and the office staff were not only informative, but so courteous! No high pressure and we really felt that our needs were taken into account and we got the best service! Due to the present shipping/supply issues all retailers are facing, our washer and dryer (the only part of our order) are delayed. Again the staff have kept us informed about the delivery schedule, this was something they cannot control. We will have and will always use Trail for any future appliance needs!

We were very impressed with our salesman, Aaron. He knew and explained the product well and put no pressure whatsoever to make the purchase. We felt he was working for us and not just interested in the sale.

Want to buy a dish washer for my mother, I don't live in the same town, should be a pretty easy task.
Not a very difficult ask - they didn't have the Bosch I was thinking of, went with a Miele instead.
Would've been just over $2000, but can't purchase over the phone.
Guess my business go elsewhere.strange business model to say tough luck.

Well, I have to say that again our experience at Trail Appliance in Red Deer was awesome, Thomas our sales guy was positive, informative and made it easy to make the right decision on our Appliance. This is our goto Appliance store. We don't have to wait for our Appliance we just pick it up as most of our purchases are in stock.

We've lived in Red Deer a very long time and have shopped various places for our appliances. Not anymore. We realized a number of years ago that Trail is simply the best when it comes to customer service. From the initial shopping experience (knowledgeable sales associates and no high pressure/upselling) to getting us the product in a timely fashion, right through to follow-up customer service, they do it right. All of our current appliances came from Trail. So will our next one.

When I worked for a home builder for many years, we exclusively used Trail Appliances for our clients’ homes and I was always very satisfied with the service they provided to our homeowners.

When it came time to purchase all new appliances for my own home, going to Trail was a no brainer as the selection and pricing are great. Appliances are a big investment, and after purchase service is very important to me – you don’t get that with a big box store. I have had one small service issue and it was addressed very quickly.

Matt, Kim and Dawn have been amazing to deal with through the whole process and I always recommend Trail to anyone who is looking for appliances.

This place has the worse service I would recommend buying from any other place, I bought a microwave and it broke the first day and I have to wait 2 months to get it fixed very unprofessional cheap prices for a reason I guess

Our 20 year old washer finally gave up the ghost so we needed a new one. As we had always had a good experience at Trail Apps in Red Deer, after checking on line for prices, we visited the store a couple of days later and looked at the models available. As with all things these days, choice was limited and as we couldn't wait very long, we picked the LG set, washer & dryer that were on "sale". We also purchased the delivery & set-up package which seemed a bit expensive, but after the w/d were delivered & set up & the old machines taken away, we are happy that we did. The guys were very efficient & pleasant & everything works great. Once again, thanks Trail, we will be sure to recommend you. George

This should have been a five star review. In 2017 I bought a Samsung washing machine and dryer and dishwasher. The sales person was spectacular, attentive and made sure I got what I was looking for and stayed within my budget. The delivery people were friendly and had me ready to wash in no time. Recently the washing machine started leaking. I called in to Trails service department and asked the woman to check and see if I had bought the extended warranty. She immediately said "no you have a one year manufacturer warranty". I explained that I was sure that I had bought the extended warranty (I had the purchase receipt in my hand and knew that I had). She again said, "no you did not". When I told her I was looking at my receipt and she bold faced lied, she quickly dismissed me saying well it doesn't matter it was in 2017 it would be up now. If I had bought my machine in September-December in 2017 I most definitely would have warranty. Unfortunately when I looked at the date my warranty was up in July of 2021. Yes I understand my warranty was up (barely) but, I was lied to and dismissed 3 times in one 5 minute conversation.

When I inquired to the service rates she explained that they were $89.00 dollars to start and $25.00 dollars every 15 minutes he was there. $100.00 per hour plus $89.00. No thank you. It was very unfortunate the after purchase care is so poor. I used Red Deer Appliance Repair for the repair. It cost me less than $100.00 dollars and I couldn't be happier with the service.

In the next year I will need a new fridge and stove. I will not be purchasing from trail appliance.

In response to the reply regarding this review: Yes I know my warranty was expired by two months. I said that in my review. My issue was your service representative dismissing me 3 times while lying. In my opinion your service providers should be as attentive as your sales people. In any event another business helped me promptly and professionally.

I just recently purchased a new dishwasher from Trail Appliances and I was very impressed with the support I received. The salesperson Matt was extremely helpful and was knowledgeable about the model I was considering and when I decided to make the purchase, he was able to get it transferred from another store by the next day, with installation scheduled within 7 days (I asked for a later date than the earliest available due to schedule conflicts). Will happily return for the next appliance purchase.

Throughout the last few years we bought a washer and dryer set, dishwasher, stove, fridge microwave set. And recently we bought another dishwasher for our new house, the salesman, Matt, was awesome to deal with and the after sales service was great. We will definitely be back in the future.
The showroom is a good set up, you can look at the products and the sales people will give you the room as needed to make your decision

Jim was extremely helpful in making my appliance selections and was very open about the perks and downsides to their companies policies, delivery, prices in comparison to competitors. So much so that we came back to purchase a washer and dryer.

Have dealt with Trail for a dozen years and never been unhappy. After our dishwasher conked out I dealt with Thomas in sales, who was awesome. He answered all my questions and sought out the exact new machine for us and made the entire process super easy. He did some additional research for me and called back with the answers I needed. You can buy from big box stores and GOOD LUCK to you! Trail has the staff and the service dept to serve you best.

We recently purchased three kitchen appliances and a washer / drier combo from Red Deer Trail. Service has been fantastic. One of our purchases was a gas range; an upgrade from electric which I have always wanted. On delivery day we excitedly unboxed and setup everything, only to have our pipe/gas fitter show up and inform us our gas supply line was insufficient to plumb in the new range. Living in a condo complex, the gas line upsize would have required tearing down our neighbours basement ceiling; obviously not an option. Would have been very nice if they had informed us about this problem over a week ago when they came to do the estimate (which included taking pictures, gathering ratings on all appliances, etc.). We immediately went to Trail to talk with our sales associate Ashley, not sure what to expect (would they even accept a return, restock charges, etc.). She immediately helped us find a new electric range, talked to her manager and waived the restock fee, and arranged for pickup/delivery of the new range only two days later. Absolutely fantastic customer service and they have secured my business and recommendation for many years to come. Thank you, Ashley and Red Deer Trail Appliances!
