Translucid Adventures

Rented a paddle board for 2 hours and it turned out awesome. Great way to spend a relaxing afternoon. The ladies who ran the shop were super helpful and ready to assist if you are a first time goer. It is helpful if you bring your own lifejacket but I am aware not everyone has one ready to go.

Great activity at Edith lake!

Super friendly and accommodating team located right at the shore front of Lake Edith. Lake is a short drive out of Jasper town centre and easy to get to. Gear and service was top notch. Thanks again for an awesome day guys. Love your work!

Went paddle boarding for the first time on Edith Lake and loved it! The ladies were so friendly and informative. The lake was beautiful and had enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves.

The lake is beautiful and relaxing, Allison was amazing with her 5 min high professional class and gave the best tips for paddling easily!

We took the SUP Paddleboard Yoga Class last night, and it was AWESOME! Definitely a major highlight of our summer so far. Lake Edith is the perfect location for this class as it is absolutely stunning, easy to find parking, a short walk to the lake, and once you paddle out from shore, not too crowded. It was a hot summer evening and the water felt so good.

Alisen, who rented us our gear, was amazing. The boards we rented were awesome quality. Our yoga teacher, Marsha, was a great facilitor. The class was the perfect challenge - easy to follow with lots of options/modifications to make it more challenging if you wanted- and we even got to jump in and swim around at the end! This was probably the most beautiful and serene location I have ever been able to practice a sivasana! Grateful for Translucid Adventures and the team, will 100% be back again soon!

I have now rented paddle boards through translucid adventures about 4 times now, each time has been a great unique experience the staff is friendly and provides service not only do they ensure a good time but also a safe one with their demonstrations and safety equipment will be going back again

Very nice, Staffs are friendly and also teaches us how to use paddle board since it’s our first time paddle boarding. We had great time!

My boyfriend and I went to Edith lake and rented paddle boards from Translucid Adventures on September long of 2021 & it was spectacular, wonderful pricing, beautiful views, we were very happy campers, going back for our anniversary this weekend! Would 10/10 recommend

In an area that could easily produce a "tourist trap, " this is the exact opposite. Lake Edith itself seems to be a well kept secret while Translucid Adventures offers a very, very reasonable price for an amazing experience. Abby also spent time giving my daughters tips and pointers to make the most of their time on the water. Come early: 11am. This is a serene, peaceful, fun experience that shouldn't be missed.

Alison and other instructors are really nice. They taught us with patients and take care of us all the time. Edith lake is very peaceful and suitable for experience sup. We had a great time here.

I always wanted to learn how to paddle board and what better place to take the lesson than in Jasper at one of the amazing lakes there.

After much coordination, Alisen set me up a lesson on the last day of the season. My last stop before I headed to back to home to Vancouver. Also, if you every approach them for a lesson, ask for Amanda. She is a wonderful instructor. Amanda answered all the paddle boarding related questions about the technique and boards. She was very patient with her teaching, told me about the time she took her first lesson and ensured that I took my time to stand up on the board so I don’t fall in the “refreshing” end of summer Lake Edith water.

If you are ever in Jasper and want to rent boards or take lessons, don’t hesitant to approach them. Thanks!

I happened upon Edith Lake on a hike. I saw the Translucid outfit and was curious since I’ve never tried SUP before.

So a couple of days later, I thought I would give it a try. Lake Edith is a wonderful clean, warm lake to explore and try SUP. Much of the lake is quite shallow.

Alisen and the rest of her crew were top notch. They were friendly and welcoming. Alisen provided a great 10 min orientation to help give me some tips and orientation. I was comfortable paddling in the water in no time. I rented a board for an hour and was able to go to the far north end of the lake and back. Had tons of fun. Prices are more than reasonable as well. I’ll definitely come back next time to do this again! (I also had a great swim afterwards. The lake is superb.)

Lake Edith Beach is a beautiful spot to stop at and relax for a while. You can also take canoe lessons here. It's located about fifteen minutes from downtown Jasper and certainly worth a short detour.

Very beautiful views of Lake Edith and the mountains. Great spots for photography, walking or picnics. Make time to relax here.

Beautiful little beach out of the way of the mayhem of the main strip of Jasper. Sand is nice and water is mild for a mountain lake. You'll always see someone on a SUP. There is decent parking and access to the beach is s ho ort from the parking lot. If Edith Beach is busy, walk across the way and check out Annette whose waters and beach are every bit as good and perhaps even a little more kid friendly due to the shallow waters.

Another beautiful clear lake with a beach. The entrance and parking lot is very small so don’t miss it. I made the mistake of driving past it and into the neighborhood located around the lake.
