We went on a family trip to Mexico for a week this past September and everything was awesome. Lauren and the Travel Guru team did a great job with suggesting a resort and booking our trip. As well as answering any questions or concerns in a very timely fashion before our trip.
We will definitely be booking with them again on our next vacation.

We booked a trip to the Grande Sunset Princess Resort in Mexico for us, our children and their partners through Lauren. She was amazing. My husband hadn't traveled since he was 16 and I hasn't been out of Country since I was 5. She literally took care of everything.
She organized every part of our trip and answered countless questions, (sometimes several emails a day). We will definitley go through her again for our next travel adventure. Thanks Lauren.

First time using a travel agent & am so happy I did! Travel Gurus made my trip go flawless and were so helpful. Lauren helped put together my entire trip and I had the best time in Thailand.

Terrible experience when I had to make an allowable flight change due to a family tragedy. My departure flight was to be changed to a week later to Edmonton, Alberta from Cape Town, South Africa. The price for the flight change, was similar to my original return flight cost for 2 passengers, and ended up costing us an additional $3176 to rebook! I spoke to the “manager” Hider, whom insisted I cancelled my originally booked return and that they have it in writing, then flipped it to “we have recorded your call”, then went on to say I’m throwing the agent Lauren under the bus by calling her out on not following up with me, until the last 2 hours boarding my original flight. Oh, Hider said he’s giving me a minute to respond, he doesn’t have the time to listen to my issue. Isn’t that why you use a travel agent, for peace of mind and trust to represent you in a time of need? Stay away from this travel agency for peace of mind! Hider lacks professionalism in an industry that demands customer service levels are upheld to the highest, this severely lacks with Hider, and not practiced when you dealing with a bottom feeder! He is abrupt and rude, and would not listen to my situation.

In response to your reply (owner), get Hider away from speaking to a customer (those that are willing to take the risk and book with Travel Gurus, reconsider), even if he is the manager or owner! People, shop around, Expedia occasionally has the best rates for international flights and try Skyscanner, KAYAK apps, book directly with the airline. FYI - Flight Centre beats any rate if you have proof!

Hidar was great! I booked my honeymoon and everything was perfect defiantly a 5 star experience.

So we had a bumpy road wiry our trip planning initially and I still gave 5 stars my reason is this. I will admit we booked late but with our jobs we don't have much choice so we were quite frantic teying to get everything done. When the company they used to purchase tickets wasn't great we got quite upset. Now here's where this company shined. They took accountability for their supplier which isn't something a lot of companies do now a days. They did everything they could to rectify the situation and made sure we were taken care of, and then they offered credits to their travel store. This manager or owner is great at what he does and the staff pulled through and now we are finally ready to go on a Disney trip we so desperately needed these past few months. I would recommend anyone to use this company for your travel plans!

Brett has been my travel agent for years now. He's saved me money and time (way easier to text him what I need then spend hours searching for the best deal myself).

I've been so happy with Brett in fact that I've recommended him to all my family and friends.

Brett is especially skilled at booking all inclusive vacations and cruises, but even for a quick stay during a road trip, he's my go to.

During covid, Brett helped me navigate complicated immigration and testing rules.

Brett was able to find flights that met our date range and requirements (no overnight stays en-route, direct flights) that we were unable to locate on our own on-line. He was very helpful looking at the variety of dates and associated costs.
In addition, Brett was able to help my cousin travelling from another country to join us. He saved her money on the hotel and helped her with an overnight stay in Mexico City.
We really appreciate Brett's professionalism, commitment to his customers and his extensive knowledge of the travel industry and destinations. He always responded timely and was a huge help. We would highly recommend Brett for your travel needs.

Booking my trip through Mina at Travel Gurus made everything so organized and easy. She communicated very clearly and was able to find deals on various activities and accommodations. I would definitely book trips through her again and would highly recommend it for family and friends!

Thank you Melissa for all your hard work and determination to find us alternate flights for our vacation to Huatulco Mexico after our flights were canceled from the airline who Melissa originally booked with - cancellation was done after sitting at the airport for 8 or 9 hours. The airline didn’t offer any alternatives and the first date available for a phone call was several days into the scheduled vacation.

Melissa was there for me in the late evening and worked all night to get us to our vacation destination making us only one day late opposed to possibly having to cancel and rebook later in the year!

It was peace of mind having Melissa and Travel Guru team there with us when things started to go badly. I will NEVER travel outside the country without Travel Gurus assistance.

Our family vacation went very smoothly, we enjoyed the whole experience as we have not been to Punta Cana before and with the pickup and drop off from the airport we didn't have to worry about that. They were a lot of fun family activities there we really enjoyed also the beach was amazing with its blue clear water. So this isn't my experience but a good friend of mine! She was denied boarding on the plane to India due to not having a Visa that this company should have told her she needed! There is a small blurb about "likely" will require. She spoke to agents multiple times and everything seemed to be order until she had to board. Now she has had nasty, rude and ignorant emails from Hidar! He refused to help her any further and if he does he wants another 1000 dollars to do so! DO NOT use this agency!

Megan was the best at helping us through the whole process. She was very informative, she made sure all travel plans were met. I am old school, I would’ve love to sit and meet and discuss everything in person. But I’m this day in age, I was able to follow all instructions to book, pay and had my family hear safe and sound. The flights and dates worked well, you got me the accommodations I had initially requested and efficiently changed them when I changed my mind and asked to be in Murray. You also got me a reasonable rate with the preferred car rental company, again requiring you to change what had originally been booked. You promptly sent me any invoices and notifications you received and were available at all times to help me deal with any issues, such as the initial damages on the rental car to ensure no unacceptable charges were made for pre-existing chips, scratches and rim damage. The TRAVELGURUS special airport rate worked well for us even though the return flight was late.

Did I miss anything, because I know you didn’t. Good job, well done and thank you again.

My experience at Travel Gurus was exceptional. They made my booking experience very stress free and easy. Communication was very fast and helpful as the agent helping me Mina, was very quick with her email responses to everyone question and concern I had.

Sold me travel insurance which has gone nowhere in 8 months. Insurer won’t answer calls or emails. Contacted Melissa with Travel Gurus she said there’s nothing they can do. When I responded saying this isn’t ok and they need to help as a $1000 claim is not being addressed by the package sold to me by then she stopped responding. 4 e mails now she has ignored, so I’m out $1000 and the money I spent on a bogus insurance policy with them.

Best travel agents in town. Hidar is always willing to help his clients in anyways. I booked my dream vacation to Los Cabo’s last month and all I can say is 5 star service. Travel gurus staff are really knowledgeable.

My boyfriend and I booked a trip to Jamaica through the Travel Gurus back in February and they were absolutely amazing to work with. We were nervous about traveling with all of the restrictions and were worried that, with the Covid situation, we might miss a step or not have the proper documents needed to travel. The Travel Gurus made it so easy and straight forward for us, allowing us to feel confident and safe with booking and going on our trip. We had many questions and they were always there with quick answers. Our original flight to Jamaica ended up being cancelled and instead of having to worry about contacting the airline and figuring out our new departure time the Travel Gurus sorted out everything for us making the whole process very simple. I cannot recommend this company enough. All of their staff are very friendly and informative. We will definitely be using them again!

Tried multiple agencies in Edmonton for an all inclusive for my family of 16, the individual we dealt with was incompetent, I felt like I did more research than she did. Just do yourself a favor and check out vip travel.

My husband and I gave our agent Cari-Anne our place of destination and our budget and she found the best place and price. I tried booking on my own prior and will never do that again. Thank you Travel Gurus!

The worst experience. I booked an appointment a week ago and explained everything from what I needed. A week later The travel agent then said she forgot as simple as that. She waisted my time and excitement for this place. Very disappointing

They got me better offer than the other agents and even online, Cari was my travel agent and I am really happy with their service. My trip which included three countries went really smooth, they will always be my choice for my future trips.

Attended the block party hosted and met the owner/operator Hidar and it was a good one promoting his business.
He's in the travel business for about 10 years and this is their new location in downtown Edmonton.
His agency offers travel packages at competitive prices.
He also mentioned that if you happen to find another travel deal similar to his offering, he'll beat the price of it.
