Je déconseille totalement! Uniquement la réceptionniste était bien dans cet hôtel. Il y avait soit disant une promo, nous avons payé 150 CAD pour une nuit, pour 2 personnes. C’était il y a 2 semaines. Chambres mal entretenues et nous avons un doute sur la propreté. Hôtel non-fumeurs… alors pourquoi on avait une odeur de cigarette dans la salle de bain? ! On a dû faire changer les serviettes de bains qui s’étaient imprégnées de l’odeur. La réceptionniste nous a proposé une autre chambre, la seule disponible car l’hôtel était full, cette chambre était encore pire! Une odeur d’humidité et de pipi de chat! Mon copain et moi-même sommes resté dans la chambre initiale, à choisir.la literie n’était pas confortable, nous avons laissé la porte de la salle de bain fermée pour éviter de sentir la cigarette mais nos vêtements ont fini par s’imprégner de l’odeur. Petit déjeuner inclus, pas trop mal, mais on est en 2023, au moins un lait végétal serait de mise. Hôtel soit disant écologique mais met à disposition des couverts, gobelets et assiettes en plastique. Le seul truc bien, c’est le restaurant Cactus Club à côté de l’hôtel. Perso, en vue de l’état de l’hôtel je n’aurais pas osé mettre un pied dans la piscine.

Although this location is convenient I did find the cleanliness of the rooms be somewhat subpar.
All I'm referring to is there were several long thick black hair is in the bathtub and on the towels that I was using and the windows seem like they have been cleaned with margarine.
If you're staying there on business like I am it's a couple of nights typically. I need a 4: 05 because 5 is typically reserved for just that a 3-star.

We were in town for a family funeral. This was The absolute most disgusting hotel room I’ve ever been in. It was so disgusting we couldn’t even stay. There was black mould visibly growing in the shower tiles, the room stunk of cigarette smoke and bad air fresheners and the furniture was in such a state of disrepair that the sofa was unusable and we ended up leaving to a different hotel after trying to sleep in the horrible bed for about a half an hour. Was still charged full price and am still waiting 3 days later for any response any numerous attempts to talk to management

There was a piss stain on one of the beds. There's bed bugs in this place. There was a condom in the damn ice box and the pool looked like there was something nasty in it or just completely torn peices at the bottom of the pool. And front desk service seems like no one communicates with anyone.one lady receptionist told us we'd get out deposit back in the morning cause that's when we were leaving but then the next morning a different receptionists lady said it takes 2 to 5 days like thats not what we were told then the receptionist goes on a call like excuse us and just kept saying it'll take a few days

This place is a scam.

I drove from Edmonton and arrived at Midnight. I had called previously to see if late check is available and they confirmed that there was. I had made a reservation one week prior.

The front entrance smells gross and all the floors are dirty. The reception has no idea what he is doing and could not check in anyone. He was not able to agree with anyone and kept arguing with every single person who entered. ANY one who entered could not check in walk in or reservation.

Terrible customer service. His computer was broken and his boss left so it was a disaster. He also told me that there was no breakfast since some problem had happened and there is no first floor bathroom. Whenever anyone asked him a question he kept answering with “I don’t know, figure it out” and “My computer is broken nothing works”. He could not check me in whatsoever. I had reserved a week prior and my reservation was not showing on his computer.

This place is a joke.

We stayed for one night. The check-in was quick, despite being right at the busy 3PM check-in time. Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the a/c and the cable worked great. The walls could use a paint job. Breakfast offerings were scant, so we opted for the Denny's almost across the road.

Absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT stay at this property. I repeat, do NOT stay at this property.

You are required to pre pay for your stay. They do not process the payment after, every other hotel on this planet.

The person working at the front desk was unable to help me at any length, they were speaking with their “manager, ” on their cell phone and would not assist in any way.

Booked to stay here for business and tried to cancel my stay because the room was absolutely unacceptable. Front desk was unable to help me. Called the Wyndham help line and they were not able to help me. They put me on hold multiple times and kept transferring me to their colleagues.

Do NOT stay at this property.

The stay was ok. The room was dated but seemed clean. A/C was weak but it wasn't too hot out so was ok. Beds nice, softer blankets needed.
Coffee maker, , not good. Parking, tight, not enough spaces. Overall, very do-able for the location if you're not fussy. Now the bad.carpets needed cleaning! Room and especially hall and stairs. Looks like puke all up and down, very old. Room carpet.wear your shoes. Breakfast Room small and under stocked, coffee is awful! Management needs to up their game! STAFF is lovely, helpful and available. But whole inside building needs a deep clean and food room needs upgrades, new Coffee machine, waffle maker. Breakfast was toast or a waffle.the end. Not great.
Abit of work, would be a great stay.

I've read so many 1 star reviews about this hotel but it was already booked by the company so I stayed. I didn't see any bed bugs, I wasn't bitten. The beds were fine. The rooms are OK. Their linens and towels are a bit dated and the hotel is a bit older but I had no complaints. The breakfast bar is sufficient. I did find a very spoiled creamer but the rest that I used were fine.
The staff seem like they don't really care to be there but they still do their job.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Dirty, disgusting, snelly room with bare electrical wires sticking out of the wall! They refused to refund my money even though I did not stay at the hotel and called the police because we videoed the room. NOT A NICE PLACE AND UNREASONABLE MANAGEMENT.

Hotel photos are more that 10years old and they have done nothing. It's run down and clearly not in a great area because the staff treated me like everything I said was a lie. They came to my room and tried to unlock my door themselves with my key because they thought I either didn't know how to open a door or use a key. Then when they figured my door was broke I asked if they could make a side door open so I didn't have to walk all the way around with 2 small dogs (there paws freez) and they couldn't. Then at 10pm there maintenance guy calls and says he can fix it and it will take 2 min so I say sure. He comes in and takes the entire door apart, 30 min with the door open and noticing nothing is getting better I just asked for him to stop and I'll check out in the morning.
They should update pics cuz the hotel don't look close to the photos in the add.
Bait and switch.
Then I checked in at 12: 30 pm instead of 3pm so they charge 20$ early check inn and I needed a late check out cuz my partners flight was delayed till 2: 30pm. They charged me 30$ for a late check out. I will not be returning.

Can't give half stars or I would.
Bed was comfy. Bathtub was very old and decrepid. It had a lining in it, that had large broken pie es in it. When I stepped into it to have a shower, I felt the floor giving way. Very soft.
Breakfast is continental. Sorry T'lodge, covid is over, time to start the hot breakfasts. Front desk staff were friendly. Phoned the hotel later on the same day as I checked out, to ask them something, and they would not answer my questions. I was hung up on, and when I phoned back, they refused to answer. Not customer service in my opinion.
Other guests were very loud throughout the night. Nothing was done about it, even after telling the front desk.
I would stay there again, only if I absolutely HAD to. If I had choices, it would not be this hotel.

I had a three night stay.lots of late night noise in the hallways.loud talking or arguing.large dogs barking in rooms.staff didn't seem to bother trying to stop either.
My last morning I found a bug crawling on my bed sheets. I went to the front desk and told them I may have a bedbug in my room.he pulled files from a cabinet and said a room check for bedbugs last done in June or July. (I can't remember which one). He sent someone from housekeeping who identified it as a bedbug. She caught the bug in a cup and took it out of the room.
The hotel is now denying they have bedbugs. I have sent videos and pictures to a local pest control company who have confirmed it is a bedbug!

Update. Calgary board of health has confirmed from my pictures it certainly is a bedbug.

We are still staying here currently, checking out tomorrow. This place is rundown, but the price was right for the little time we actually planned on staying in our room. The first day out rooms weren’t cleaned or made up at all, they said it’s because the deadbolt to the inside entrance was locked (which it was… because… kids) and we had the outside door not dead bolted, so they could have still got in there and tended to the room.
The second day we left around 10: 30 am, back to the room around 6: 00pm, and upon walking in, the beds completely unmade, but the rest of the room was somewhat ‘tidied’ (still had some paper garbage on the floor).
I asked the front desk (she’s very sweet) why the beds weren’t touched and she said it’s because we had personal items on them (a kids hat and a beach towel) and it was their ‘policy’ to not moved guest items in order to make the bed. Well I’ve stayed in A LOT of hotels over the years, and NEVER had I heard this policy. One of the perks from coming back to your hotel room is having a freshly cleaned room and beds made up - especially when you’re on vacation! I personally think this is ridiculous, and don’t understand the harm in moving the items left on the bed, and placing them elsewhere while the bed is made, and then put those items back on the bed.
There was complimentary shampoo and soap, no conditioner. You have to prop the blackout curtain up against the windowsill ‘just right’ or else it blacks your AC, which is very much needed in +32 weather. The rooms are TINY, but the beds are fairly comfortable. They could be more generous with the pillows, instead of just 2 per bed (we are a family of 4, and mom and dad need two pillows each). The bedding is very basic, and you’ll need to request an extra blanket if you’re a cold person.
The location is decent, lots of dining and shopping stores in the area, a few within east walking distance.

I’m very disappointed in the fact we stayed here 3 nights, and coming back to our room each day was dissatisfying because the first day the room was completely untouched. And the second time the room was ‘tidied’ but beds weren’t made. I’ve never experienced a hotel policy like this before.

The outdoor pool was the only perk for us staying here, as we have kiddos who LOVE the water. But it could be tended to a bit more — I skimmed the pool to remove bugs each time my kids went swimming. And the chairs they provide aren’t very sturdy, and most are sun damaged and cracked.

Location is good. Front staff is good. Pool is ok. Everything else was mediocre at best.

We won’t be staying here again.

If you like staying in a hotel that doesn’t clean the rooms (bathtub, sink, mirrors, handles etc), doesn’t vacuum, has spills down the walls, stains on everything, rotting doors and door frames, AC units falling out of the building and blood in your curtains than this place is for you.

Dispute the disgusting room and my complaint, I was not given a refund for the days I refused to stay in the hotel.
The staff was rude and not sympathetic and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Go to a best western or something. This place is a dump.

The worst hotel experience to date for us. We arrived on Friday and will depart on Monday. The room was not very clean and also a little dated. Saturday morning the hot water ran out during the first shower. On our way out we ran into the housekeeper and asked for towels for our room. Told her our room number and she repeated it back. She assured us she would do it. We put our used towels in the bath tub, as the custom goes. 6 hours later when we arrived back the hot water issue was fixed (just) and the old towels were still in the tub and we didn't receive new towels. Sheets not changed for the three days. Pets are allowed because there was a dog barking most of Saturday night. Rubbish throughout the parking lot. Overall a disappointing experience. Front counter staff was friendly and helpful but house keeping staff is terrible. The room was not cleaned properly before our arrival and we had to empty our own garbage as well as ended up taking our towels out.
Never will we stay here again and we definitely do not recommend this place.

6/13/22 Update.
Just received a response from the travel lodge.
I am certain most hotel chains have the same template response to a poor review. I had a similar bad experience at a hotel out of my province and the response was almost verbatim. There were no suggestions as to how they would make the experience better. An apology without stating how they would correct the bad experience is an insincere and not worth the time it took to read!

Update:

The room I was in absolutely has bed bugs. I found one full of blood running on my bed after I woke up.

Do not stay here if you want a quiet or secure stay. There has been a group of adults partying in the parking lot (a foot from the room doors/windows, you can hear them more clearly than the TV in your room), no security seems to be around to handle the situation, at 7: 30 on a weeknight; people have been slamming doors up and down the hall, whistling, yelling, and no staff has come to enforce any sort of order. I've never experienced such a poor hotel stay, and at a price on par with much better places, we would recommend staying anywhere else you can find.

Update - reply: once a month inspections don't guarantee that the other 29 days of the month there are no bugs being brought in on the guests who stayed before me. I understand inspections more often may be unreasonable, but certainly don't try to tell people they did not, infact, get bit by a bed bug in your hotel when they caught it in the hotel bed, and squished it (it was full of blood, so, very clearly not a beetle or an ant or anything else). I would post the photos if I could. Instead of trying to save face by implying your guest is lying/mistaken, just deal with it, so that future guests can have a comfortable and secure stay in your establishment. I have stayed here previously (albeit years ago) with no issues.but there absolutely was a bed bug this time. Cheers.

Got a good deal online. Pets are welcome here. The only thing I did not like was a $100 damage deposit. They said I should get mine back in 3 to 4 business days.

Checkin: September 5 @ 9: 30 pm

We originally booked in Canadas Bests Inn in Chinook but had sanitation issues in that motel. Good thing this hotel is close by and we were able to get a room in very last minute. The guy receptionist (Miraj) was very helpful and accommodating. He even gave us discount.

The place is clean. No bed bugs. White clean sheets and towels. When we got to our room, we've smelled smoke. We informed him over the phone and as soon as we're close to the front desk, he handed over a new set of keys for a different room. That's what you called Customer Service. He walked with us to inspect the room and send housekeepers to take care of it. We love to use the pool so he even let us checkout an hour late since we've checkin late. Or even we have checkout, he allowed us to use the pool and shower to change.

The reason of my 4-star rate is the A/C. I agree that it would be a bad place to stay during hot summer days. We were just able to sleep fine because it's clean and very far from the other motel. The receptionist is very accommodating and all. Just the A/C seems in need of replacement. It didn't the room cold and it's a bit hot throughout the night. Hope they get that fix as we surely come back.

Beware they will charge you a $100 damage deposit up front and then choose to charge your card what they choose after checkout without your knowledge. My autistic grandson and family stayed here and he got a couple of food smears on the sheets by accident and they charged their credit card without their knowledge until they saw the credit card statement. They try to say it's their policy. My son decided to take pictures of the room before he left as proof just in case which we will forward to head office. Quite appalling. Not to mention it's a dive of a motel and I would not recommend staying here. Do not stay here any 5 star reviews you see are not the truth. We have travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels in Calgary and this is a really disgusting place with seedy characters hanging about that I would never subject anyone to.

I would give this place even less starts if it would let me. The tub looked like a death seen that was not cleaned properly. The air conditioning didn't work. Turned it on at 3 in the afternoon and still hot come morning. Worst stay ever!

People screaming all night, woke up to the sound of puking, no stir stick for my coffee, sticky candy rolled out from under the microwave, and my boyfriend had to dodge falling linens from housekeeping on the stairwell when he checked out. No good.

One of the worst experiences of my life. It was dirty and clearly not cleaned or looked after due to the top drawer having many used needles left in it. Also the only thing they offered was 20% off my next stay, I will never stay again. On top of everything the pool was not even open or working.

Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. However, I am able to provide a few details so that you will know which staff member was on shift

It was about 1930 on Friday July 23rd. I arrived with my sister who needed a room to stay with her son for 6 days. The prior accommodations she had at a hotel fell through and she needed a hotel to stay in Calgary.

Long story short. The check-in process was very smooth. She was friendly and ensured that all the need -to- knows were expressed verbally on more than one occasion (which is appreciated).

Additionally, she took the time to show my sister both of the rooms that were available, which is unheard of at motel. The price the room was offered to my sister at was a great price too.

Thank you very much to the lady at the front desk on Friday evening who provided great customer service and accommodated my sister and her son.

Stayed after a long hot day at the Calgary Stampede, looking forward to a cool air conditioned room with a nice pool to cool down in. Our room (although booked over a week in advance was boiling hot) and both my wife and I were sweating in our room. It was 19 degrees outside and 25-27 degrees in our room at one point. The hide-a-bed was also broken in our room. We ended up switching rooms and the new room was hardly better. The anemic ac units definitely couldn’t handle the workload. The hallway was considerably cooler than our room (the though crossed my mind to sleep in the hallway lol) and the pool although stated on the website to be open, was absolutely not open. We came with a toddler and a baby and the baby didn’t appreciate waking up again at 10 pm to change rooms. The location is good, right off the convenient McLeod trail. 9/10 would not recommend in the summer months of Alberta.

After the long week I had, I decided to give myself a small treat and go to this hotel to rest and relax.

The location was easy to get to. Check-in was pretty straight forward. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. They got a copy of my ID, asked for my credit card for the $100 damage deposit and told me upfront that the pool (which was my main attraction to the hotel) was out of service.
My room was up a flight of stairs, and access was via key card. Climbing up was no bother, I was told the air-conditioner was turned on so I was looking forward to that after being in the sniffling heat of the day.
The room was clean with furniture that was well used but cared for. I was quite disappointed because it seemed to be cooler out in the corridor than in the room with air-conditioning.
Bathroom was neat with really nice showers and lots of towels. I wasn't able to get much rest because the sheets were itchy and I was too hot. Breakfast was served in the morning with a variety of options. My stay at the Travelodge would have been a nice escape if not for the fact that I was unable to get any rest and I was so hot.

My first and last here. I need to open the window curtain all night to used the air conditioner. Front-desk staff not friendly, you will feel unwelcome here and the reason why i checkout early because so uncomfortable. Glad i found the other hotel to moved.

It was a bit outdated but the king bed and breakfast were nice and the staff were friendly/helpful. For breakfast, we got cereal, coffee, milk, yogurt, bananas, and some hard-boiled eggs. If you want just a place to sleep, it's okay. However, we felt that it was not worth $120+taxes for a king bed for one night: mainly because the toilet got clogged in our room after only one mild usage. We asked for a plunger but were provided with one that had a broken/split rubber. So we asked for another one, but the second one's rubber bends over itself and it was a struggle to make it pop back to its original form. LOL. So, we just gave up and used the washroom in a different place the next day.

We are temporarily between houses and are in the middle of a 24 day stay, we chose this hotel strictly for the budget price and because they allow dogs.with low prices come low expectations but we have been very pleasantly surprised! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fresh white towels and bed linens, and a nice tv.breakfast is included every day, and the room has a little fridge and microwave, which has allowed us to save money by getting a few groceries at the nearby save-on foods instead of eating out. A nice bonus is the laundry facility and swimming pool. The housekeeping ladies are very sweet, and the staff has been wonderful, especially Neeraj, who has gone above and beyond for us, even offering to open up the complementary breakfast a bit early for my husband who would otherwise miss out due to his early start time at his job.overall a very positive experience so far!

Don’t ever stay here, my mother and I stayed July 23-24,2020, and now all of a sudden I’m receiving charges on my credit card for apparently staining a hand towel that we never used with what looks like grass and dirt? I ALWAYS check towels and bed sheets to ensure no stains or marks were left. I am not impressed with the service about it. Also, there is mould in the bathroom.

Unscrupulous practices. Read other reviews with same complaints. I suspect they have bedbugs as we had bites all over us. They also took $40.00 off our damage deposit for what they claimed was a damaged towel and a coffee stain on the sheet. The towel was used on the floor of the bathroom to step out of the shower. The coffee stain? If so both are easily washed which makes me question the cleaning quality at this hotel. We stayed there The night of June 30th. I will be filing a complaint with Visa to reimburse my $40.00. Not a happy customer!

I mistakenly put 4vstars, my bad. This hotel was one of the worst I've been to, fridge didn't work, was extremely noisey with kids partying pretty well all night running up and down halls between rooms, could hear them clearly talking, elevator never worked and even though the guy at the desk said he'd help us with the luggage, he seemed to have just not bothered and stuck us with 4 floors to the top to climb to a. Rooms didn't look like they ever got more than the beds made after the previous guests either.

What a joke of a hotel! Have stayed at many travel lodges before and came here to this location and was disappointed beyond belief. If I could give it 0 stars I would. First off the room was terribly hot. The A/C unit is literally held together by tape. The front desk clerk working Meeraj if thats even his correct name was rude and double charged us for a room.

We booked for 2 nights and only charged us for 1 at first. Then calls us while were out at the zoo to fimd out that we need to pay again. We get back to the hotel and pay the charge. Also what kind of hotel charges up front? ! For a cheaper option I I defintely wont be back here. When we noticed the double charge, my husband phoned his VISA company right away to confirm that it was a purchase and not a pre authorized payment. When we confronted the front desk clerk Meeraj and I asked to speak with the manager he told me that the manager wouldn't be in till Monday.

Fast forward to when we checked out today, the front desk clerk again had been rude and said that he couldnt do a refund right away and it would be 2 to 3 business days. Then somehow the manager MAGICALLY shows up. When we asked why he was in now when the front desk guy said he wouldnt be in till Monday. The front desk guy laughed and smirked.

Not to also mention but i found it extremely unprofessional for them to talk in hindi with my husband and i right there, interrupting us when we tried to explain everything.

** edit ** took over a week to finally get the charges off.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS U WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! BEWARE!

Overpriced hotel! Not worth for the price. Definitely, I won’t go back and I won’t recommend for any of my friends.
So much things to say about it.
Let’s start with the SMELL. The room smells mould. I will be honest, I was scared to find any bed bugs there. The hallway smells bad too.
Another dislike, PARKING. All the rooms should have your own parking spot. I found quite difficult to find a spot there in the middle of the night.
CLEANING, even though I liked the housekeepers (they were very polite), but the cleaning wasn’t very good.
NOISY neighbours, my husband couldn’t sleep because someone was throwing a party in one of the rooms.
Well this is my sad list. ‍️

This place was absolutely disgusting. Broken A/C blood stains everywhere. Our toilet paper was previously dropped in the toilet as it is all crunchy. Room smells like mould. Nobody should have to stay in a room like this. Spend that extra money and stay in somewhere nicer!

Was disappointed in my experience here. The A/C was pitiful even when on the coldest setting and the highest fan speed. The TV frequently lost connection to the digital box and was extremely wavy in the picture. They were unable to provide me any face cloths for the entire visit. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was strong and stable for me (Access Point located right outside my room)

Stayed during Calgary stampede in room 108, when we woke up water was leaking from the bathroom ceiling and flooded the floor. We told house keeping, she went and told front desk and no one came to check on us. I then had to pay $45 upon check out for pizza stains on a towel.worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Actually it's zero out of 5. Had an exam and booked for breakfast 15 minutes before the time. 20 minutes later, the guy in question was just setting up. I later found out he is the manager. Sad! I explained to him and he just told me without a bother, something came up. I was not even informed earlier so I could plan. He really took his time setting up despite going to him 3 times. He practically ignored me. I guess it's because he is the manager too! I left for an 8 hour exam on an empty stomach. Too bad! Customer satisfaction is key!

We decided last minute to get a room
In Calgary instead of driving straight through to get home. Didn’t check in until after 11pm, front desk associate was helpful and fast. Got a newly renovated room on the second floor, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was a typical hotel continental- the kids liked the waffles.
Didn’t use the outdoor pool as it was quite chilly and raining- so can’t comment on that.
I did notice that there was a sort of “team meeting” going on about the cleaning staff working hard to get the property in better shape- I’m guessing new ownership is trying to improve the building?
We were quite happy and feel it was good value for the money- we will be back:)

Awful smell during their renovations. Hot all night, no AC. We asked the front desk to come to our room to fix. Her answer, open the window! Old ugly place, I would not recommend.

Staff was not very welcoming. Had 4 rooms booked showed no appreciation of business. Thermostat were not functioning properly which resulted in our rooms becoming boiler. Upon check-out staff mentioned that if you set it to cold they work as heat. Why did you not inform us at check-in? Not staying again.

The worst experience of my life. We checked in and found bed bugs in our room! They relocated us to another room which was fine, but it seemed that they had booked the infested room right away to other travellers. 30 bites later and weeks before they went away, we are still disturbed about our stay. Especially with the concern of bringing the insects back to our home in our luggage. Eight days later we learned we had credit card fraud. The last place it was used - the hotel. Never again!

We stayed here before our Rockies trip, after international flights. Rooms big, clean. We had some big deposit to leave and they were kind to let us do so, even despite we did not plan to stay with them before our departure flight. Really helpful recepction service.
