Travelodge by Wyndham Red Deer

No longer Travel Lodge it's the BA Hotel now. Rooms are kinda dated but it's fairly cheap to stay there. They do not have continental breakfast but they do no have a pool however it's very very cold and there is no hot tub

We came to red deer for the night, sign outside says free breakfast, in the morning was told there is no free breakfast. There were unknown stains on the sheets and head board and bugs in the bathtub and sink. Same price as holiday inn right next door and very unhappy we chose this place instead

Am definitely coming back to this hotel deserved more than five stars excellent services Thank You very much TAHA you are the best

I knew from at first looks it was skeptical, we entered the room and there was cigarette burns on the bedsheets. I looked in the washroom there was some yellow substance. My dad and uncle were outside drinking and they saw a guy with a nice car so they yelled "nice car. " About 5 minutes later the guy came up with weapons and his friend came with dogs and started swearing at us and then they hit my dad and he wasn't hurt but they hit my uncle in the face and his eye was swollen and bruised we called the police and told the front desk and they had absolutely no emotion. We wanted to leave but it was late at night and we asked for a refund and they said no, then the lady looked me straight in the eyes and said "are you indian" and started laughing. We decided to stay and when we were going to sleep the AC was broken and the front desk couldn't help us. We tried to sleep but it was so hot and when we woke up we went to the front and they said "oh stuff like this happens all the time" I was so bothered I just wanted to leave. I do not recommend this hotel at all I would rather you sleep in the car.

The staff are welcoming very good service rooms are clean wifi is fast and the location is great

Our room was very great, with a stunning view. The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating.

Don't Stay Here, worst hotel stay ever and I got covid from staying in there room that you could see wasn't cleaned prior. Dirty needles behind the bed and the guy next to me made the stay that much more unpleasant. They also charged my CC an extra 112.00

Well we booked into this room and within minutes we needed to leave because of a emergency.handed the key back to the lady at the front desk. So I talked to the manager on the phone and he wanted me to email him thinking that they would refund us.well nope he wouldn’t. POOR customer service!

The rooms stunk, they weren’t clean (hair everywhere) and the bed sheets had bright yellow stains on them. Not a great experience at all.

I stayed their for a day with family and the washroom was dirty low quality air smelt like smoke

Dumpy. Motor Inn not hotel. Pool is a 250 foot outside walk? Pet friendly rooms are in a hellish area. Not tecommended.

Booked a room with the impression our stay was for a full day and a night at our check in at 6 am. There was no warning that we were to check out at 11 am same day. We got charged a full stay ($120) for 5 hours we stayed in the room. There was poor customer service to help resolve the poor communication from the front desk. The gentleman that assisted us in the morning at check in was very rude and did not feel it was necessary to explain the early check in would result in checking out same day. Any other respectable hotel would accommodate accordingly for a miscommunication. Apparently the customer is not right and will be escorted off premises by police when trying to come to resolution for a fraction of a full stay. This business is seedy and manager/owners are crooks. Beware those that come for a stay at an early check in.

Gross.there was a cloth in there that us called the cloth you will have to pay a fine if you get one of the white towels dirty of stained. DO NOT USE THE CLOTH

All I can say is horrible horrible horrible. We booked this late in the day because we didnt plan on having to staying in Red Deer but we ended up having to. We showed up got our key to our outside facing hotel room after fighting with the key in the freezing cold we got to view our VERY dark and COLD room also the wind through the door was ridiculous. When i went to go get my money back the front desk associate was less then polite. He told me its cold because i booked it so late and i needed to wait for it to warm up but this is at 8pm so that would have taken all night. Still fighting for my money back

They way over charge alot of things wouldn't recommend the stay there for anyone with children!

Was kind of skeptical at first as there was not really anyone staying. Looked up the reviews and was kind of scared. But, these reviews couldn't be more wrong. The staff was very friendly and happy to help anything. Sure it is an older building, but the rooms were up to date with the times. Did quite a bit of looking and couldn't really find anything wrong with the room. There were a few dead bugs behind the bed, but nothing on the bed. Beds were very clean! The cleanliness shouldn't really bother you unless you are a clean freak. The pool was nice and fun to swim in. The people leaving reviews complaining about the place sure haven't been around because I have stayed in a lot worse rooms than this! Not the best for a birthday party or New Years Eve, but the perfect place for someone going through town.
