Treehouse Indoor Playground-South Edmonton

Had my child's birthday party here child's we went one day and loved that it's smaller, more comfortable and 1 floor.
The pricing for the party was reasonable and the party host was so calm. We even had extra ppl arrive that we didn't count for and it was no problem they were able to be added.
We played for over 4 hours. The adults enjoyed the little arcade area with the children.
The food is also pretty good for a place like this. I enjoyed the sandwich platter and pizza.
I read comments about the seats ppl come and go we found seats with in about 15 min also its not about comfort for us its about getting off your electronics and playing with your children.

Decently accessible and lots of parking. It's a healthy balance between number of things for the kids to do and overall size, in that you can mostly see where your kids are at any given time - so it's not too daunting/negligent to take two kids in there as one parent. Fairly busy during the weekends, like any of these indoor playgrounds. If you can take your kids during the weekday, I highly recommend it - as it's a completely different and way more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I went on a Thursday afternoon and there was less than 10 other kids in there. The food is decent and the pricing is fair. Overall, in terms of bang for buck - it's probably one of the better things to do with your kids.

Great economical place for kids to have fun. We visited on a Sunday at 3PM and it wasn’t overcrowded but had just the right amount of kids to make it lively

The place was clean and the cafe was good for lunch. There were enough different amenities for different age groups to stay engaged

My 3 year old kid had a blast and didn’t want to leave even after 3 hours of play

The place is clean and great inside but the prices are too high considering it's size. They charge more than all the bigger indoor playgrounds but they aren't as crowded. If the pricing was lower the rating would be a 5 star. I paid $29 on the weekend for 2 children, that's crazy.

It's OK.the arcade needs a lot of improvement as most of the machines need fixed.
My kids didn't care so much about the playground as they find it too dark to explore.
Washrooms have dark lighting and doesn't look like it's well maintained.
Staffs are nice though.

The kids really enjoyed themselves while visiting this place for a birthday for a 6 year old. They have some games that you will use the coin to play and anytime you win, you get some coupons that you can exchange for candies. My children were not a fan of the types of candies that was provided though. They had fun at the end of the day.

Ok I suppose, for the money you pay I think there are better options in Edmonton. Haven't been back, I have found a few better options for my grand kids.

Clean and fun equipment. Kids had so much fun and lots of seating for adults to relax. Definitely one of the best indoor playgrounds in Edmonton.

The place is overall fun and a great space for children, however, there was a fault. After observing the workplace, there was a specific worker “Evlyn” I believe her name was, who was consistently rolling her eyes after every encounter with a customer. I also saw her yelling at other workers and thought of it as extremely rude and disrespectful. This is still a great place to go, and I will most likely return with my kids, but we will try to avoid these kinds of workers in the future.

As much as we loved that place prior to the pandemic, introducing the discriminating QR code nonsense was simply wrong. It's proven that vacced and unvacced are spreading the virus equally. I will not support those places anymore unless there is a sincere apology for discriminating their loyal customers!

I am very well aware that most places don't require the QR code anymore. My point is, that you never should've introduced it in the first place!

My 13 month old barely got to explore the toddler baby zone because NON toddlers constantly were in the space. Jumping in the ball pit, throwing balls, throwing the foam rockers, and riding on the small ride toys. All this despite the zone having a height restriction. No staff or parents intervened. Extremely disappointing.

Came here with my toddler. Staff at the front might have a combined IQ of 70 and don't know how to communicate, maybe too high off the weed, BUT price and experience mean it's 5 stars. I'm definitely coming back!

My kids had fun except some of the games don’t work and on top of that my daughter got hit in the head with a hard solid object. I didn’t see what happened but a kid hit her in the head and there was blood gushing everywhere. The lady at the till asked me if I wanted a supervisor and I said “why? I need a hospital now. ”
No other indoor playground has toys except this one. And when I sent a email to treehouse, I never did get a reply.
Don’t bring your kids here. Parents don’t watch their kids either at this place and the safety isn’t good.

Edit: I got a reply and they were very sincere the manager. So I will change my stars.

Over crowded and party rooms were booked with no time buffer which means your party is still going on and people from the next party will stand outside the room and stare. Other than that food was good, so was service.

I was standing in the arcade area and saw one of the staff in the kitchen area eat food off a tray and serve it to a customer right after. And during COVID? ! Very gross.

Well yes a nice place but in and out of the party room literally. We got there had to wait for the previous party to finish up then we felt very rushed to get into the playroom-party room and get out within the hour. The bathrooms are desperately needing to be attended to way more frequently the floor wet wet wet the counter tops wet wet wet (not the greatest when you are in sock feet as well as your child, not very clean) as well don't go there hungry. They stopped making hot food (hotdogs, fries, pizza etc.) because they got way to far behind with the orders. It's Sunday there are party's in every playroom so maybe extra staff would have helped. However it felt very safe and to be honest was very impressed that they made sure my 3 year old grand daughter was leaving with the right parent and that our numbers they stamped on our hands matched before unlocking the gate. Very impressive

My grandson really enjoys playing here and now that he is old enough to go off on his own I can sit and read. Have a cup of tea and relax. Would give it 5 stars is the had more comfortable seating

I attended a birthday party for a 2 year old who had invited people ranging in age from 2 - 65. There was something there for everyone to do. There was a food concession and arcade and climbing apparatus and ball pit. The area for toddlers was large with lots of things to do, older children had a number of things that could keep them busy. Because it was a birthday party they were given a room to themselves to be able to have cake and open presents. The staff had it all decorated and the food that came from the concession was good and the kids ate it up. There was sandwiches for the adults. Chase from the paw patrol came and visited. The eyes of the toddlers just lit up and you wouldn't believe how happy they were to see him though very afraid to touch him it was a good time and we could have spent the whole day there.

Great for my 5 year old. We have been here for 3 hours and he still doesn't want to leave. We paid $14 for him, some tokens to play $5, snacks $12.

Absolutely love the staff of this place. They really make this place a friendly and welcoming environment! My kids and I come here quite frequently. However, one of the staffs seem to be a big smoker. Today, when I walked by the kitchen, it smelt like cigarettes very badly. I am not very sensitive to smell but it was very evident. I believe that especially in a kid and family friendly environment, attitudes such as smoking frequently should not be encouraged by staffs working in such environments.

Other than that, kudos to the rest of the staff for doing such an excellent job!

Southside play for little ones. It's a busy place so make sure you get in early. Small cafeteria and room rentals available.

I love the indoor playgrounds. This one in particular has the wobbly cars which my kids really enjoy and it's a nice small zone to keep current check ins with your littles. They have a lego room, a toddler zone. Some loonies rides. & the structure. Lots of variety for food and make sure to check prices before you leave. We do love the games. Though the tickets don't really get you much for prizes. I am grateful for the fun we had and would definetly go again.

I was visiting family in Edmonton and we decided to take our littles to Treehouse South. We went on a weekday so there were only a handful of families. We had a great time in the toddler area and explored a few other parts of the playground. The staff were friendly and helpful. I really like that they check each family when leaving to make sure that the right kids are going home with the right adult.
Side note, I lost my wallet there. Being out of towners I was really worried. I emailed Treehouse and they reported that they hadn't seen it but that they would contact me if it turned up. IT DID! With cash and cards intact. I was very relieved. The Treehouse staff were very patient with me as I had email multiple times. I will be returning next time I'm in town. Thanks again.

They didn’t give us a number coming in and there’s not enough workers. The equipment is clean and sturdy though. The birthday package was wonderful!

Nice place for kids to play, very clean. One staff member was really nice and polite, while the other one was extremely rude

Great place but the staff need to be more strict separating babies from grown kids. Almost had my toddler taken out twice from 10 year old kids cannonballing in the ball pit. Not impressed.

First time at Treehouse today and it was wonderful experience! Not very big so you can actually chase them lol food selection was good. Overall it was great experience.

Holy, this place is busy! But it was worth it as my kids could burn off some energy. I found their ticket redemption desk is very cute. Clean, friendly staff.

Only giving a 1 star simply for the shiity telephone answering machine that gives you wrong unrecognizable extensions.fix your phone system and I'll adjust my rating. Every extension it tells you to dial does not work and it always ends up hanging up on you. You literally cannot get through. And yes I've called within business hours. Yes I listened to the automated message at least 6 times before giving up and making the review.

Love bringing my kids to play here. They keep the place clean and kids always have a lot of fun. Also a great place for birthday parties.

Very busy, so parking was difficult but staff was friendly and it was a fun time. Kid's loved it! The bathrooms needed to be cleaned, other than that would recommend for a fun family activity that is not too expensive.

Male staff he is has not great customer service. Seems like not even working. I regular here and always see him go upstairs and never come down to help staff downstair. I feel bad I saw girls staff running back and fourth to let me out and run to the back to help customers but I never see him come down to help staff? He rude and no welcoming. Get better staff and put more workers on shift.

It was our first visit and we loved it! Staff was so friendly and helpful, they really went over and above. Great selection of food and drinks in cafe, and place was very clean, staff was cleaning often. Will go back for sure!

Kids under 10 will have a lot of fun here definitely. Food and drink prices are reasonable.
The room is a little bit tight, if your kids is too little, you'd better keep eyes on them all the time, especially when they travel between the different zones.

It is free for kids under one year of age. Toddler section is decent size and has a ball pit and little slide and toys. They need to manage it better thou because parents were bringing their kids who were way to big into this section and jumping in the ball pit. It isn't safe with babies in the ball pit, you can't see where there legs or arms are.

My friend had to go and talk to someone at the front to kick kids out and talk to parents. There's a clear posting on a pole in the area that says if you are above the suggested height you can't be in the ball pit.

First time I was there.

I could not believe how awesome the staff at this location was. We came in late in the evening on my kids birthday. This was his first time here too. He was having so much of a good time that it caught up with him and he got sick at the park. The staff didn’t shame him or give us a hard time. The really helped us out in getting him cleaned up and making sure he was feeling better. This was so appreciated and so welcomed. Once he is feeling better we will definitely be back! Thanks again for the staff for understanding it was so awesome!

We enjoy using indoor playgrounds when the weather isn't the greatest. This one we tried because it's closer to home.
It won't disappoint, our two year old loved all the stuff he could climb on, slide down and explore. It's not overly big but there's a lot to do.
We enjoyed having the tables in the center of the facility having a seven month old one of us has to sit and watch.
They have lots of variety of food and drinks for a decent price.
Staff are exceptionally friendly and the facility is kept clean.
If you need a place for your kids to burn off some energy this place is a must.

Its a good indoor playground if you're planning on staying only a couple of hours. Begin emptying yout wallet if you want a drink, snack, or meal though.

The kids always have a blast here. Never gets old and we have been coming here for almost 7 years now. They do replace/add new play structures or items every now and then. This location is smaller than Treehouse North but I like that the baby/toddler area is in the middle of the facility. It's usually very busy on the weekends due to birthday parties. The weekday mornings when kids are in school is usually nice and quiet. They have a decent selection of food here, not much for gluten free items other than fruit/veggies and chips/juice though.

Great place for kids! Not that big, but Treehouse is clean and safe. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great kids play Area, it’s often changing slightly and very clean. There is a change table in the bathroom and the couches are comfy for mom and dad. Overall a great space.except the music. I seriously won’t come during the month of December because the MUSIC IS FREAKING OBNOXIOUS! Through the year is also awful but slightly bearable. If your there more than an hour be prepare to hear the same kids bop version of the same 7 pop songs about 3 times each per hour.on repeat. On behalf of all parents please invest in done sort of streaming service for music.

This is an enjoyable establishment for spending a few hour of fun with your children. Loads of fun for your younger children. Comfortable sitting area for parents and grandparents. Snacks and drinks are available at onsite canteen. Party room are available onsite. Ample free parking is available.

I enjoyed my time here! It made me feel like a kid and had so much fun maybe more than the kids lol!

Nice place for kids. Brought my 11mnths old baby and she loved it. Has quite a few activities to keep children occupied.

Unfortunately when you've traveled to ao many of their locations you become biased in if the place is great or not! I favor red deer location. They have such a great layout that works with kids and parents and great activity rooms for all ages. I rate this place a meh!

It was great until older kids came in the toddler area and jumped into the ball pit. None of their parents were around and one kid trew a big toy into the ball pit and hit my daughter right on the head. The playground is great but needs more staff monitoring and enforcing the rules.

Great spot to bring the kids. Can get very busy. Prices for snacks were reasonable and easy to find for different dietary needs. The Treehouse was great. Other areas seemed quite unclean which is why I only gave 4 stars.

My son lived it to a point, and when he was on the top piece of play equipment, he got surrounded by too many kids and got scared, the staff were very quick to respond, when asked, and they went up and got him.

My son had a great morning burning off some energy at treehouse playground. He is still young so we only used the toddler area but that kept him busy. Think this place be even more fun one he's older and can utilize more of the play area

I love this place. It is safe for your children in terms of any chance of injury and children can’t leave the place without adults and stickers on the children and their own parents/guardian are always matched before letting anyone leave the building. They have many fun things for children. They also have birthday room which I don’t know much about. The staff are great oh and don’t let me forget their food. It is really delicious!

Cool place for kids. Spent a bit more than I wanted to there. The arcade is cool but a bit pricey and you need so many tickets to get decent prizes.
I was a little worried about letting my kid go in the play area alone cause it was just me and her who went together and I'm too big to go in those areas and she was pretty small compared to some of the other kids running around in there.

So if you're taking a small kid a sibling or a friend might be a good idea to bring along.

The environment was impressively clean and safe for the children to play in. Our daughter likes the combination of arcade games as well as play area to run and play. Even though the arcade games occasionally swallow a token or run out of tickets the staff were very accommodating to assist. Great experience and plan to return regularly.

Treehouse is always a hit with my children. They have a large climbing structure, a bouncy castle, many slides and a games section. It’s perfect to host birthday parties too.

Amazing place for kids to play indoors. It's comfortable and easy for parents to watch their kids. It's not overly huge in size but was perfect with enough variety to keep my kids entertained for hours. My kids are 3 and almost 2.

We’ve had 2 birthday parties for my daughter here, and have come other times just to play. The play area is big, and it’s accommodating for adults if they play with their children. Plenty of tables and seating for parents. There’s a decent selection of food and not too expensive. The staff are all very friendly and great with kids. Highly recommended.

My son really enjoys it here. It is not so big that the wee ones feel scared or intimidated by the vast size. It is cozy and CLEAN.

It was a lot of fun for the kids. I like that it's a smaller place (harder to get lost), and the play are is big enough for a parent to go in and play too. Customer service could have been a bit better. It just seemed like everyone working there really didn't want to be there.

It's really loud, but the kids like it and they have a system for making sure the kids can't get out without the parents. Good for kids 3-10. It's a little overwhelming for the very littles, but there is a place for them if you're bringing older siblings. After 10ish they kind of lose interest.

Great facility with tons to do and a bunch of food options. Best part is that you can sit down at the tables and see just about everu square inch of the place. Awesome place to wear out the rug rats while sitting on your butt and still keeping an eye on them.

A staple activity in my family. We come here often and it almost always a pleasant visit. It's a pretty fun place with a lot of room for the kids to run off their energy. And a variety of activities to do. From the jungle gym area (with slides and stuff to climb etc), to an inflatable bouncy gym, and an area with these balls (like the type used in ball pits for kids) that are used for ammo in a few "guns" that use air to launch the balls around the room. Lastly. (my favourite section!). Is the arcade! Using tokens, there is a pretty big selection of games to play. If you win, tickets spit out the machine, and you bring them to the concession counter to exchange for prizes. The selection of prizes are rather dissappointing unfortunately. Most of the prizes are super cheap junk and anything decent needs astronomical amounts of tickets and feels discouraging:/ The somewhat redeeming quality is the option to just buy the particular item of interest (I can see myself taking advantage of this during special occasions. IF the item is not easily available somewhere else. AND it's priced decently enough).

Frequent Wednesday on-goer to bring my son. Friendly staff. Nice food choices. My son loves the fries.

Always fun for the kids, special area for toddlers, snack area with highchairs, affordable ($5 for toddlers). Lots of different things to play with/on.

Fun indoor place with different games and playing zone for the kids. They have rooms available for hosting birthday parties. I like their food court area with free WiFi and affordable meals. Clean washrooms too!
