Trinity Hills 24 Hour Pet Hospital

Always a great experience for the pets when we come to Trinity Hills for reproductive services.

We did not have to wait long. Doctor was very good at explaining everything and gave options for required tests. Baxter was treated very well and was able to hang out with me rather than in the back while we waited for tests results.

Wonderful care in an emergency porcupine quill situation. Dr. Austen was very kind, thoughtful and diligent with both our dog and in conversation with us.

Our pup had a run in with a porcupine. The clinic received us promptly and her fixed in no time. The vet explained a few risks to watch for in the coming days. Highly recommend!

I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. From the staff that greets you to the Drs.that look after your pet. We had to bring our cat in because she had gotten into some ribbon and ingested it and it got lodged in her intestines. Dr. Mike did an ultrasound and confirmed it was there then operated on her at 3 AM and removed it all. Our little cat is now at home recovering and seems to be getting along fine. They were all so good to us and our little cat.

Dr Austin is amazing very patient and understanding. Not like other vets where you are rushed out and very affordable. They did their job and procedures well enough I left with answers. I am grateful I have experienced a great visit with the trinity family. They are truly about you beloved ones. Thanks guys

The first time I went into Trinity Hills ER Vet, I was blown away with the kind and quick support they gave me and my dog. I even tried to make them take us on as a regular patient:) (they are emergency only). I just can't rave enough. Tonight I called in for advice and the lady I spoke to was so kind and patient. She had no problem answering all my questions and she eased my concerns. I can't express how appreciative I am. Trinity Hills ER Vet is one of a kind. Thank you so so much!

This clinic was so wonderful, we brought our cat Cooper in for what we originally thought was an emergency. Luckily he was ok! Staff was very attentive and kind and took our concern seriously. Thank you! <3

Amazing Vet and I'm glad they were able to help my Cat, but as they were unable to offer payment plans, they sent us to a predatory loan agency with multiple negative reviews called "ScratchPay",

This "ScratchPay" company will do whatever it can to NOT TAKE YOUR MONEY and instead ruin your credit.

The incentive for such a company simply cannot be explained. And any practice that partners with non-professionals can scarcely be professional themselves.

Absolutely amazing place to go would recommend to anyone who asked they where super at keeping in contact when they had my boy in house as well as after I took him home they called multiple times to check in on him to make sure everything was going good with his recovery and as much as it shouldn’t matter didn’t completely break the bank 10/10 hands down

We first brought little Trix to Trinity Hills on May 2nd with IMHA. We worked very hard to get her home and used every option available to us. In the end there was no treatment for Trix. During our time there the front staff were kind and caring. The technicians were watchful and performed their job with grace. The Dr's were diligent, always available, and respectful. While the ending wasn't what we hoped for, there is no where else I would have rather taken Trix.

Looked after our dog after a potential toxic issue and they were all great! The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable and they kept us proactively up to date. The place is nice and clean and new

We've been here twice in the last month and have been so grateful for the kindness and care from the staff. Nobody ever wants to have to take their pets to the vet, especially foe emergencies, but the staff are amazing at making everything as easy as possible.

Seen Dr. Fulford today. She was very nice and provided detailed information regarding my dogs' concern. We've had previous visits here and they have all been great too. Staff are very professional and helpful.

After losing our puppy last year, I've been very skeptical of emergency vets. However this was by far the best emergency experience we've ever had. I brought my dog here late at night, the staff here were friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt that they were genuinely trying to help with reasonable pricing instead of pushing for tests. They even provided an effective treatment for the skin infection we couldn't clear for months! I'm so glad we chose to come here. My dog recovered in no time and she's back to her playful self again!

I visited this vets on Feb 28 with my 18 month old dog and was trying to get help with surrendering him. The staff here went above and beyond to help me find a place for him so he could have a better life! They found a spot for him. Hands down the best 24 hour vet clinic and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

The BEST independant Vet clinic in town. They came highly recomended and I'm so thankful I trusted them with my 13 year old dog. Everyone was so caring, professional, and knowlageable.

The first thing I learned about Trinity Hills is that this is NOT a vet clinic, it's a pet hospital. Don't confuse the two. They are here for emergencies, not check ups. The second is why they are here, and is the primary reason why we need more of them. The service and care our pet received is outstanding and I can't stress enough how relieved we were to have our cat seen in the first few minutes, then diagnosed, and treated within the next hour. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and put my fears at ease within the first few minutes. Dr. Jackie attended to our cat and came in to explain to me all that was wrong with him, how they were gonna treat him, and what I needed to do for him once he was back at home. I'll never forget how Jackie came in to discuss the results of the tests which were done and how on one hand she was extremely serious about his condition, but on the other, how she was certain that if I did what she said I needed to do, that he would make a full recovery, and now he is back home and acting like his old self.
Trinity Hills Pet Hospital is the greatest place to bring your sick pet for the absolute best service in northwest Calgary.
Just as a human goes to the hospital for acute emergency care, so should you bring your pet to Trinity Hills for acute emergency care.

It's unfortunate that you've chosen to deny our comments and defend your staff member, rather than investigating this further and apologizing to us for what we were put through. We were staying with my in-laws at the time of Dr. Fulford's call, so there is an entire household of witnesses that heard exactly what she said to us. Dr. Fulford may have been under a lot of stress, for which I sympathize, but that doesn't excuse bad behavior. WE were also under a lot of stress, but at no point did we treat your staff with any kind of disrespect in return. I stand by what I said. I truly appreciate those of you who acted with integrity and compassion towards us and our dog, but I won't pretend that this didn't happen. Take care.

I want to start by saying thank you to Dr. Sherri Clarkson. Your diagnosis of our young dog probably saved his life, and after a long 12 days of suffering, he is finally showing improvement. You are truly a blessing, and the manner in which you handled his case shows just how much you care about animals. You deserve 10 stars, and we thank you a million times over!

We also want to thank the reception team and the few doctors that cared for our dog behind the scenes, (like Dr. Sutty, for one.) We appreciate your compassion and care for our little guy!

Sadly though, I do need to address the behavior of another doctor in this clinic, Dr. Jacquelyn Fulford.the reason for this low rating. She was on shift during part of our dog's hospitalization, and when she phoned to give us an update on our dog, she was extremely abrasive and rude. She immediately went into her recommendations like they were the only thing we should consider, (even though she was repeating most of what we had already tried and ruled out with other doctors,) and when we tried to question this or discuss the prices of different procedures, she outright accused us of only caring about money. She then went even further, saying that our concern about money shows that we don't care about our dog or feel that his case is an emergency, and as such, she felt we shouldn't be allowed to see the specialist without an appointment months down the road. She literally tried to hinder our dog getting the help he needed to survive.

Now, to give you a bit of background.by this point, we had already consulted with numerous Vets across multiple clinics, had done every diagnostic test that had been recommended to us, (and even repeated several to rule out progressing symptoms,) and our dog had been hospitalized for several days while the doctors tried to determine what was wrong. We had even driven from another city just to see the specialist at Trinity Hills, (which we knew was going to be very expensive,) in the hopes that somebody could diagnose and treat his condition. We were already several thousand dollars into treatment at this point and looking at thousands more, so for this doctor to have the gall to say that we're too cheap, that we don’t care, and that we should be denied treatment.absolutely unbelievable!

Everyone here was so, so kind to me. The vet helped guide me through a very tough choice whereas another vet pushed for tests that I suspected were unnecessary (sometimes you just know when your pet can’t be helped). Eternally grateful for their kindness.

We recently had to bring our cat in to Trinity Hills for bladder blockages, which ultimately led to surgery. He received excellent care during his hospital stays, and we were kept up-to-date daily by the veterinarians and staff. Everyone at Trinity Hills displayed utmost professionalism and care, which kept us feeling secure in our decision to bring and leave our pet there. We would not hesitate to return to Trinity Hills (though we hope we won't have to).

Wonderful staff all around. Very knowledgeable and know exactly what to do and what’s wrong when presented the issue. Great experience

Would give negative 100 if I could. Dr Gayle Cummings is the worst vet in Calgary. Arrogant, degrading and dismissive. Literally said to me "I am a vet, you aren't. You don't know anything". Doesn't listen to the problem you have with your pet, gets annoyed if you ask questions, gives advice about nutrition but has no degree in nutrition. One of our puppies died because she wouldn't listen to our concerns. Filing a formal complaint but wanted to warn others as well.

I have had a few "emergency vet visits" throughout my life. We all know how scared and worried we are when our furbabies are in medical trouble. Last night we had to take our 3 month Chi puppy in. We were greeted right away and within minutes, our little girl was getting assessed. The vet on call was AMAZING! Although she didn't have all the answers right away, she did everything to manage our stress level to a "this is likely what the issue is" and I think she will be okay. She explained the costs with thoughtfulness, thankfully, we can afford it, but I took a mental note at how compassionate, considerate and informative she was given that a vet bill at Christmas can be really difficult for some families. She brought our puppy to see us before we left, she was wrapped in a blanket with a hot water bottle on her tummy, living her best life under the circumstances. We are so impressed and highly recommend this Vet center. Thankyou for taking care of our girl overnight, she is making a full recovery. Also, the little Christmas bow is adorable! BRAVO!

We’ve had to use Trinity Hills two times and both times it has been absolutely amazing. The staff have always been excellent, friendly and their pricing is very fair.

This hospital is amazing. Best equipments, great doctors and nurses and friendly staffs. Highly recommended.
My cat was very sick on Sunday afternoon and they accepted him as a walk-in. It didn’t take long to see doctor. Doctors and their team did their best to treat my cat for 4 days but it’s time for him to go.
I will definitely go back again for my other pet.

Took my elderly kitty here for an ultrasound and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Clarkson and her team were wonderful, very detailed, and very sweet to my usually cranky old girl. The front end staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this clinic.

We had to bring our dog in to the Pet Hospital as he had eaten some foxtail and it was caught in his throat ‍️. These guys were amazing. From checkin to treatment and pick up we were all treated with respect and kindness. They were amazing with my 4 year old daughter, and Gizmo’s treatment was as fast and pain free as it could have been.

Thank you all so much for helping to make this the least stressful experience it could be!

Personally I don’t feel comfortable at this clinic. I have had two animals come here and both experiences have not been great. Generally when you are coming to a 24HR clinic it’s an emergency and I just never feel the staff is very compassionate. I was lastly in with a sick dog who got so much worse at the clinic and after leaving the clinic he I could not settle, it makes me feel terrible for bringing him there. Although I can’t really put blame on the clinic for the downfall cause he was already sick but I don’t feel my animals ever feel very comfortable coming here. I decided to drive to a farther 24HR hospital later that evening as the dog could not recover after being there and I did not want to put him down with the staff at trinity.

Medically I am sure they are fine but out of all the clinics I have been to I find the customer service and bed side manner far from great.

This is a great place with kind and noble doctors and nurses! They love pets and their work! People who cares! I drove to the hospital, cried that maybe this is the last day when I see my kitty. They help us and I left with happy smile! My boy could lick my nose again! Thank you Trinity Pet Hospital!

Our vet had us bring our 9.5 month old puppy to Trinity Hills when I brought him in for what they suspected to be pneumonia and noticed his oxygen was low and he would need 24 hour care. It hit him hard and fast, literally within hours.
We rushed him to Trinity Hills and by the time we got there his condition was even worse. The emergency doctor was amazing to deal with when we arrived and she was very calm and empathetic to us as we cried scared for our boy. When we passed him off she offered her support and apologies that we were going through such a scary situation, but assured us he would be comfy and resting nicely. Dropping him off in such bad condition, was tough and left me feeling empty but I knew he was in good hands and where he needed to be.
We were called and updated on his condition what I felt was an adequate amount and were told to call anytime for updates if we needed to.
The next morning Dr. Wong called us right away and asked us to come as things were taking a turn, and we are so appreciative for that call and urgency for us to get there to see our boy before he unfortunately lost the battle and passed away.
When we got there our boy was in really rough condition, but we could tell by the area around him that he was well taken care of and they were trying every possible thing they could to help his poor body fight off the infection. They allowed us to lay with him and hold him in the middle of all the chaos without rushing us or pushing us to make any decisions. They gave us the space and time we needed with our boy to make the decision that needed to be made. Because of our ability to be close to him and hold him/talk to him, his vitals stabilized slightly and we could tell he knew we were there and was more comfortable and trying one last time to fight to come home with us, before his unfortunate passing. Knowing that his vitals stabilized a bit when we got there and held him brings us so much peace knowing that he knew we were there and felt more comfortable.
Once he had passed they allowed us to grieve and take as much time as we needed with our boy in a private room without any interruption, and we will forever be appreciative for that time.
Dr. Wong was amazing at answering or questions and assuring us that we did all the rights things and nothing wrong, which also brought us a bit more peace. She truly was amazing to deal with and we loved how calm she made us feel during such an awful situation.

We were also given the option to go over all the arrangements while we were there, or over email the next day- which we loved since we needed some time.

In terms of cost- he received A LOT of critical care and therapy during his time there, but we found the bill to be incredibly reasonable given the care he received. We also weren’t pushed to pay and given the bill while there. Instead, they emailed it the next day.

Thank you so much to the whole team at Trinity Hills that took such good care of our baby boy Beau in the almost 24 hours he was there. We could tell he was well loved and taken care of during his time there and you all tried your very best to bring him home to us. We are forever grateful for that. Thank you for allowing us to spend his final moments with him in such an intimate way.

Thank you to the Trinity team for helping Cooper with his low blood sugar. You took such great care of him, phoned me daily with updates and provided me a great summary when he was discharged. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Our dog had some cuts that needed closing from an encounter with a barbed wire fence. Great staff, fast service, nice facilities. Very happy with the wound closures, they used sutures not staples. Cost was very reasonable! Highly recommend this hospital!

I had an emergency with one of my dogs and as soon as I arrived they took her in. They did a thorough exam, kept me informed and updated. They didn't push for anything extra in terms of tests etc.
They provided amazing care and the price for an emergency was more than reasonable.
The vet was very knowledgeable as well as the med student and front staff. Overall excellent experience and I would highly recommend!

I had to take my kitty here last night because he ate a rubber bracelet. They got him seen by a vet in less than 10 minutes and I spent less than an hour there total. My cat is all better now and this place is actually very affordable! My new go to for pet emergencies

Wonderful, friendly staff and Dr Heather was just amazing. Explained everything well, answered all the questions I had and took great care of my Rudy. I'd switch vets in a blink of an eye if this was just a regular vet clinic. Good to know though where to go with an emergency. Thanks for all your help!

I'm so impressed with this clinic. I've now needed to take my dog not once but TWICE in the last month or so to the vet for after hours support. My dog is incredibly fearful of the vet and all staff were so understanding. They were able to do what they needed to with no complaints to me, and I know it was not easy.

Their prices are also so reasonable. I highly recommend them to any pet owners. The reasonable consult prices help me feel like I don't have to choose to 'wait things out' if I'm not sure how my dog is going to do.

The care my pooch received from Trinity Hills was amazing. Night and day compared to other providers we have visited before, and there are numerous! All of the staff is excellent and efficient. The facilities are also very well cared for. From check-in through to discharge, and asking questions afterward by phone and email, we were well taken care of. Don't hestitate to take your animal here especially in the event of emergency. Thank you to Dr. Danyse Lewis and team for taking care of my dog. I wish I knew names for others who answered my questions either in person or email to mention here.

Our dog broke a paw and we took her to this amazing hospital. The service was great and quick. The staff were so nice and understanding. And the doctors were quite professional and helped our puppy recover. I'm so glad we found this place!

This is an amazing vet. There very compassionate and understanding. Had to put my cat of 14 years down and the care they gave her was amazing. I cremated her and the options and price they had was perfect. It takes about 5 days to get the ashes back. Super easy to pick up the urn and they even sent a nice card in the mail.

Such amazing staff and doctors. They really care about your animals and want what’s best for them. They explain things so well and make sure you understand what is going on. Thank you trinity hills for helping us out with our fur baby!

They were the best! It's walk-in, you would just fill in a check in form online and head to the hospital. Staff were really nice and got you seated right away. I was told the wait time was over an hour but they got back to me in about half an hour. They explained to me how the check up went, asked some questions and gave me choices on how I would like to proceed. Overall very dependable and great for emergencies.

Dr. Wong was great! The staff, on the other hand, was cold and impervious to the life and death situation of our 16 week old puppy that tested positive for Provo. We were laughed at by the receptionist because we were not aware of the protocol, although we were transferred to the clinic and they were not ready for us. After I had left the clinic with our puppy, my husband was still waiting to check in, one of the front girls continued to give him dirty looks because she had to go and sanitize the doors we walked into. They sent us to the back of the clinic, into they’re green space to wait outside where the technicians were to meet us due to the isolation of our puppy and we’re told they would be “right there”. They made us wait 20 minutes in 30+ degree weather after our puppy was already on IV therapy at the previous clinic. Dehydration signs were already apparent and he was in distress. Eventually, the technicians took him into the the back, and in the “shade”. Finally, we were instructed to go into the reception area and wait for an exam room. Once touching the doors once again, they were NEVER cleaned thereafter. There were 3 positive Parvo cases that came into Trinity Hills today. Very concerned, particularly when we were told how contagious Parvo is.

Hopeful the the miscommunication has been resolved. We waited in the waiting room for almost an hour, which we expected due to it being being an emergency clinic. Although, the wait was only to speak to the doctor about billing and education of the virus. Very concerned pet parents about our puppy left in the clinic for more than 24 hours. Very hopeful staff steps up in this serious case and follows the doctor’s orders to a T.

This vet discriminates against bully breeds. For a vet you would think that they would be educated and love all animals but no. They’re ignorant towards bully breeds.

We have been taking our dogs to Trinity Hills since October 2021 - top notch vets and staff and the most excellent care for our dogs! We are so thankful to have this team of experts on our side! Thank you for everything you’ve done for Indy, Ariel, Lexi and Hedwig:)
