We hired Tru Exteriors to do our James Hardie siding for us. They did an excellent job and were very quick to respond to any issues that we had. Sam was great at explaining things to us and helping pick the colours and style. The installers were very professional. Colin & Doug were very friendly and I would recommend this company. We are so happy that our house was finished on time and before winter.

The experience we had with Tru Exteriors was exceptional. We’ve had some terrible experiences with building companies in the past and went into this project with a lot of skepticism. But they made this experience very smooth and painless. They were very affordable, professional and knowledgeable; they took their time answering our questions and consulted experts when they couldn’t answer our questions (that were out of the scope of the project). They were very quick with all their responses and always punctual. We ended up increasing the scope of our project by re-doing the upper and lower deck due to the terrific experience we were having with this company.

They put a lot of attention to detail in every part of this project (small and big) and still managed to finish it in a very reasonable time. Our 2 neighbors with smaller houses in the same neighborhood were also getting their siding re-done with the same materials, they both started before us and it was still incomplete when ours was completed. The contractors on site were also exceptional and the attention to detail they put into the work was also worth noting. I can’t say enough great things about this company. We are extremely happy with the work done on our house. I highly recommend Tru Exteriors.

These two gentleman went the extra distance during a challenging pandemic crisis. I have had many projects over the years and our current fixer upper home has been challenging and rewarding. My elderly parents live in a 50 year old house that was long overdue for a renovation. After meeting with several different contractors, I chose Tru Exteriors based on their reasonable price and excellent customer service.

We contracted Tru Exterior to install James Hardy siding on our two story house. This job included installation of 1" insulation, replacement of soffit and Fascia. The job was done professionally and we are very satisfied with their work.

This is an amazing company- we had them install Hardy board exterior on our modern farmhouse renovation (they also did the parging) and we could not be happier! Chris and Colin were so easy to work with, they responded to emails and texts in a timely manor and would regularly meet onsite to ensure the project was being completed to their high standards. They addressed any questions or concerns we had immediately. They were one of our favourite trades to work with and we plan to have them back when we rebuild our garage- we are so pleased with the result and quality of work!

We had Tru do the exterior siding, gutters, and soffit on our new laneway home. From design to installation they were great to work with. We will be using again for future projects.

Tru Exteriors renovated the outside of our building in the spring of 2019. From design to completion, they were very easy to work with. An issue came up in the middle of the project with respect to redoing the vestibule just inside the door. Our understanding was always that Tru Exteriors would complete this part as it resembled the outside of the building and we had discussed this with them. However, that was not understood by Tru Exteriors and was not accounted for by them in the quote. Despite this, they stepped up and completed this part of the work without any haggling. I would definitely recommend Chris, Colin, and Tru Exteriors.

There is one issue my husband had and that had to do with the lack of materials left over after the job. But Chris explained this as a result of unusual lay out of our building, in addition ordering just enough to limit cost. I found this reasonable.

Tru Exteriors recommended Don Neifer of Eau Claire Development for our windows and I have to say I did not enjoy working with Don. We had a cracked window that was determined to be a result of installation but Don and his people insisted it had to do with the contractors damaging it by banging a tool against it. We had 4 different window people and general contractors come in to take a look and everyone agreed it was from installation as there was a lack of the usual central hit with the cracks extending radially outward if done by a tool cracking onto the window. Instead, it was just a linear crack usual of the window glass being "forced in" as we were told. However, Don refused to replace it and we had to replace it at our cost. I would not recommend this window/general contracting company (Eau Claire Development Ltd).

The team at Tru Exteriors did excellent work on a small parging job we had at the back of our house. Because the job was so small I found it really difficult to find a company that would actually do the work (and not over charge). These guys stepped up to the plate and had it done in no time. Great customer service. Would definitely recommend.

True Exteriors offers great products that are far more cost-effective than alternative exterior installations / products. Using their supplied AL-13 we were able to get the look of boxed aluminum panels at nearly half the cost. True Exteriors is easy to work with and they offer great value-added services from the start such as design drawings.

Used tru exterior for the metal cladding component of my rowhouse project including corrugated and lux material. Crew was skilled and productive.many favourable comments received on the building appearance upon completion.
