True Balance Medical Spa - Sherwood Park

Started the BHRT to adjust my hormones as I was having many issues with perimenopause. I was paying about 150$ I believe for my bloodwork and follow ups every 8 weeks, come 1 year I was reminded of my annual follow up, though this time they were going to charge me 400$! Nothing different was going to be done in the “annual “ appointment, still bloodwork and phone call to go over my results and see if my medications should be adjusted. I am Beyond furious with this and how they are trying more than double charge me, especially with it being the same type of appointment. You should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to take advantage of patients when they are at their worst. So I have not gone back, have no medication or help, and back to feeling absolutely terrible with my well being. Guess I’m just going to my family dr for advice.

Super happy with True Balance! Marlee is the goddess of fillers honestly, she does the best job ever! And their staff is very accommodating and acknowledgeable! I would definitely recommend it! Keep up the great work!

I was so incredibly impressed with my experience getting a micro laser peel. You can tell how much the staff care about their clients; they explained everything and were so through. Teagan answered all my questions and was so kind. My results have been beyond what I expected; my skin is much smoother and looks really healthy. I will definitely be coming back; I can’t say enough good things about the experience.

Received IPL from nurse Jackie who did an amazing job. She was extremely thorough and made sure the results were to my liking also while being gentle and caring.

To say I'm thoroughly disappointed is an understatement. Since I first started on this journey with True Balance I have hated every moment of it. To start; the doctor I was assigned to is very cold and doesn't seem like she cares about you what so ever. I hated anytime I had to speak with her. She has no compassion and makes you feel stupid. (The NURSE i got was however very kind and sweet). During my treatment; I was told to get B12 injections which I found out the hard way I am allergic to an ingredient in it called cobalt and I had to call an ambulance to come help me because I couldn't breathe and I was having such a terrible allergic reaction. I do not have coverage so I had to pay out of pocket to cover the hundreds of dollars that cost. I kept taking the other creams/pills prescribed to me and felt 0% better in any aspect of my life. In fact I felt worse and my face broke out terribly. It was deep, painful blemishes all over that look weeks to heal. I was so uncomfortable and anxious from how I looked. So I called back. I was prescribed another medication to try. At this point from all the medications I was told to get cost over $500 combined, and I do not have any coverage. I took the new medication and the same thing happened all over again. I am currently dealing with another set of horrible painful breakouts and forced to throw out this other set of expensive pills. I'm back to feeling anxious and uncomfortable while I wait for my face to finish erupting and healing all over again until the meds are out of my system. I feel like this experience was a massive waste of money. I was over promised the entire time. "you'll feel so much better! You'll have energy! Your mood and memory will improve! ". Absolutely none of those things happened and combined with the cost of their appointment fees, medications they recommended and my ambulance bill I am now down over $1000 and now I have nothing to show for it. I feel like they prey on desperate people like me who will do anything to feel better and keep stringing us along until we just can't take it anymore financially and emotionally. I officially quit "the program" and will not be renewing any further appointments. If you want to pay hundreds of dollars just to get acne and nothing else.this place is for you.

True Balance Sherwood Park - everyone here is amazing! I had my treatments with Kathy and she was awesome! Very calming and comforting 10/10 would recommend!

They do 1 thing here. They solve problems. Dr. Binn was very helpful in getting things sorted for me.

Great experience today with Nurse Kathy for me and my cousin. She had a very calming energy and made us feel very comfortable throughout our procedures. She also has a great eye for symmetry and we can’t wait to see our final results once the swelling goes down. Would highly recommend her!

Today I had a dermaplane treatment with Teagen. She was awesome. My skin looks and feels amazing!
I also get regular Signature massages (hot stone) with Damon. Damon is an excellent massage therapist. He is very professional and provides stretching exercises afterwards.

The staff at True Balance are so friendly and professional that it makes appointments a pleasure to attend. True Balance offers a wide array of services and is conveniently located on the east side of Sherwood Park, close to the city and central to Strathcona and surrounding counties. Highly recommended!

Staff (Michelle) was friendly, knowledgeable, polite, professional and very helpful, definitely reccomend this place for any service or product.
