I would definitely recommend this company.
I saw their add on Facebook, as I was desperate when another contractor screwed me over and never answered my calls.
Dale answered my message and called me back.
He came back the next day and he gave me the estimate.
He negotiated the price with me.
After looking at the permit and the drawing, Dale promised to do the job without hesitation, as soon as the weather warmed up, he came with his crew.
Dale worked honestly and efficiency in Timely manner. He went above and beyond and never asked over the agreed price.
This man is honest and respects his words.

I called TrueNorth for some advice after the subcontractor on my window install over cut the foundation on my basement windows, all the way through the foundation in places. I wish I’d got TrueNorth to do the cuts as I researched it after seeing the damage.

They picked up the phone right away, gave me some advice as if I were one of their customers.

Do your research before. Hire these people or know who is doing your work. Get it done right the first time, as I wish I’d done.

I have used True North for foundation wall cut outs for a few basement windows in my last two projects and also used them for concrete coring for vents. They have done a exceptional job. The last coring job they did it yesterday in an extreme cold weather. They did a great job, nice and clean cut. Really appreciate their service. Highly recommended for anyone who needs concrete cutting service.

Dale and his installation team replaced my home’s original single-pane basement window with a modern, triple-glazed casement model. The removal, concrete cutting and reinstall action of the new new window was performed with precision and professionalism. True North’s work crew were friendly, responsive, and were conscientious about protecting my home and cleaning up after the job was completed. A very positive h9me renovation experience!

Dale's communication and promptness was excellent and we are happy with how it all looked outside once complete. He even sent someone back on request to put one extra row of wood as it was left a little low to fix the grading issue.

However minus a star because the workmanship on finishing the inside of the window was sub-par, and the messiness of the caulking caused more work for us than if they had left it raw. We thought it would be prepped ready to paint, but it was left more 'ready to cleanup mess'. I sent photos to Dale and he phoned me and said that that how they left it is correct and the norm, so I guess my expectations were wrong. So warning to others to set your expectations.

We had an excellent experience with Dale and the team at True North. They cut and expertly installed 4 egress windows for us. Efficient work cutting and installing the windows, work space was tidied, and the support through the inspection process was fantastic. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking to have concrete cut in Calgary.

I hired True North to enlarge (2) basement windows in my concrete foundation. This included excavation, concrete wall cutting, egress window install and egress compliant window well installation. The installers were very professional, punctual, hard working and knowledgeable.
After inspection of installation (day after), I was concerned about waterproofing. I voiced my concern to True North and Dale offered to complete a site visit and review the install.
Dale made the additional trip to inspect the installation and explain the sealing/flashing process, that it had been completed properly, and that there is no concern of any water infiltration.
I truly appreciate Dale taking the time to do this, it speaks levels to the amount of integrity True North has and willingness to go above and beyond in delivering complete customer satisfaction.
I would not hesitate to hire True North for any future concrete needs I may have.
