I'm pleased with its services. Very quick at the check out. Most of them just let the customers waiting in-line. It's ridiculous to wait in-line to pay your money. In my opinions.
One of my gave grocery stores. Last visit, many items were sold out and others had higher than usual prices (thanks Covid!) But still had the essentials and can get what I need here without driving to the Korean and Japanese markets across town.
Great place to shop for produce, in my opinion. They offer all you need for oriental cuisine. They also have fresh bakery. Lots of bulk buying as well. Love this place
Poor in-store customer service. Terrible delivery service. The price is high compare to other Asian supermarket, and the promotion does not have a lot of variety to choose from.
Lovely new TnT store. Of course clean and good variety, more than the other two old store. Noticed there are three fast food and restaurant available but looks like they not quite ready yet. I'll wait till little later to try it. If I'm visiting the area, I'll definitely shop here. Hope they able to keep it clean and welcoming.
I bought 2 big snail like this catching from the water tank but when I came home it smells super stinky, like it died already but they still put them in the water tank made us feel like it's fresh and still alive. I tried all the ways to deodorize to save it but didn't work. It kept showing the foam when i washed or boiled. Finally had to throw away cant stand the super super stinky smell.
T&T as usual has a vast choice of oriental and western produce. Look for excellent deals when you buy wholesale. I with self check area be more spacious and better organized.
If you speak english don't bother calling this place. I was passed off to 3 different people just in order to ask a question to someone who could understand me. When I was finally able to ask someone about a product this was the conversation.
Me: Asks about a product. Employee: I don't think we have it. Me: Are you sure? Can you check? Employee: We don't have it. Goodbye. “click”
It's a very busy store that has a lot of different asian foods and meats that you don't find anywhere else in the city. Some shelves were a bit disorganized, but overall there is a good selection of foods and kitchen supplies. It's worth a look even if you don't like grocery shopping, but if you don't like shopping around other people, this may not be the place for you, it gets busy.
I enjoy making the occasional trip. Bakery is great, nice to find traditional products-but can be pricey. Large variety of vegetables, typical fruits. I have an issue with the stores cleanliness-I avoid buying products in certain sections. Great selection of seasonings, spices, flours. Pricing is for multiples and must buy the number indicted, to get the price-no dividing of cost- Wide variety of foods from various Asian countries. If you’ve never been, it’s worth the visit. A lot of other Asian stores have opened up over the years, this one is no longer in the top 3.
Best ever bakery in the area (NE) Little bit over priced, so I hold myself to buy produce. The meat used to be cheaper than other places, that changed due to unknown reasons: (
There's a staff standing by entrance taking temperature for everyone coming in. Every one in store is required wearing a mask. Feel safe shopping here. Thanks for the great work
Love this place because you can find practically any Asian/Oriental food and I think the food the serve is actually delicious. But, some places in the supermarket are unclean, such as the bathrooms.
A very good selection of products tailed toward asian tastes. The prices can be definitely high compared to other grocery stores unless there's a sale. Cashier lines are often extremely long due to the volume of people.
The seafood section is smelly but there is a lot to choose from. Lobster, spot prawns, crab or even clams. Occasionally, there will be in season products like soft shelled crab, scallops, and king crab. There's a huge amount of frozen seafood too. Fresh butchered meats are available from chicken to pork. Plenty of packaged foods as well from many different countries. You can find specialty snacks like "nata de coco" which is fermented sweet coconut water cut into cubes. Produce is fresh and the bakery offers unique tasting pastries. All in all an interesting place to shop.
Has a lot of Asian food if you didnt know. Deals. Bakery products that are baked there and You can also get fruit birthday cakes. They have a seafood area fresh/frozen. A meat section with variety ish. Lots of different Asian snacks. If you need Asian produce just come by here.
It’s a nice place and you get a whole bunch of Asian food which is great. I will be honest with you, I hate the smell when you get into this place. I don’t know what it’s, is the sea food or anything I don’t know, it just makes me sick. I have been here twice but I promised myself not to go in there for the third time. I just can’t stand that smell: (
One of my Go To places for specialty and international foods. I do alot of eastern-style cooking and we go to Hong Kong every odd year. Variety of Noodles, snacks, meats, produce rivals the world. Staff was friendly and speak Cantonese and many languages. Got my Daan-Tat fresh out of the oven, and my ginseng-linghzi tea.
It gets crazy busy and crowded on the weekends and the parking lot is a nightmare. They have lots of hard to find stuff and the Asian items are usually a good deal cheaper than if you find them at a regular grocery store. The staff don't tend to be very helpful or friendly in my opinion. I've asked where something was a few times and they always say "I don't know". Last time I went, the cashier talked and looked at the person ahead of me while she rang him up and then immediately started talking to the person behind me. She didn't say a word to me or even look at me until she handed me my receipt. Not a a big deal but made me feel like I wasn't welcome there. I'm going to try out Lucky Supermarket next time and see if they are less busy and more friendly to customers.
Love this place, not sure why I don't go to it more often. Always interesting finds with veggies and frozen products. The boxes stuff is often confusing but it's always a pleasure to check out. Finding veg dumplings here is always my favorite. They had mushroom chive ones that were amazing. Police the sauce section is always fun.
