I wish I can do zero star how T&T treat employees at the store, went there today and every single employee is wearing a diaper on their face. Which means they have their own policy to force every single employee to wear a diaper on their face. Not every employee will wear it unless you force them. SHAME ON TYRANTS AT T&T!
Great alternative for food shopping in Sage Hill. Especially the Asian buffet where you choose your meal from a huge selection. You can take as much or little as you want. The rest of the new store looks great as well.
Loved all the various products they bring, and their members program is not half bad. Now they just need to open one closer to Varsity and we will be happy.
I prefer the one in Harvest Hills (a lot more options) but that one is very clean and the kitchen doesn’t disappoint! It tends to be very busy after 11 am (and sadly the kitchen doesn’t open before then) but they still have a lot of options. It tends to be pricey just FYI.
It was quite crowded considering I came today, on New Year’s Eve where everyone is shopping for their Holiday Preparation. I left as early as possible, but I can comment that they do have a great number of selections for most types of product. Service was also good overall.
We finally made it here, and what a nice and clean T & T store this was.
The store is bright and spacious and, overall, felt so clean too. Produce and products were stocked neatly and fully.
Bonus: sushi is 50 percent off close to closing. This is so worth picking up! The rice has gotten better over the years and holds up well as premade, budget sushi.
It's a well organized store with a large variety of mostly asian foods, fresh, frozen and cooked. In compare to other T&T's I've been to this one has more space between the isles and has a better layout.
At this price, they can buy the same thing directly from Wal-Mart when compared with the nearby Wal-Mart. No matter how heavy the items are in the self-service scanning area, they must be placed in the weighing area after being scanned with a handheld device. Did the person who designed this send it to treatment?
Park far away- I've seen multiple accidents in this small parking lot, plenty of poor parkers (typical for Calgary), and smashed trees in parking lot due to poor drivers. Driver leaving parking lot going the wrong way on the median separated road almost caused another accident with myself and another car. Now inside the store- if you'd like to visit a store where all our established norms, politeness, and courtesy are thrown out the window, this is the place for you! Having a older Asian woman who was obviously mocking my being there buying asian groceries (cashier blushed and looked annoyed by this womans words thankfully) a fine example. Looking in the coolers from 2 feet away and having someone just go in front of you without a word, rude. Saw another young lady reach across some produce and sneezed directly on to fresh produce below, no covering of the mouth. Getting cutoff by staff who don't understand customer courtesy, twice, also rude. This all in one visit. Will not return- will take my money elsewhere, and besides, my auto insurance company will thank me. Awful experience.
My wife and I were looking for a specialty food item used in Asian cuisine and located it here after trying several other stores. Owned by Loblaw, this is quite a large food store with a wide selection of pan-Asian products, laid out in an appealing style.
Nicely maintained grocery store with a wide range of products and selections. If you wanna have a meal there, try the bbq pork rice and milk tea with pearls. Their mango cake is another go to!
