Tubby’s - It’s just a bar.

More of a cocktail bar (nice cocktails) then a hotdog place.miss when it was on 17th Ave and was more of a hotdog place.

If you are visiting or are a tourist I highly recommend you check this spot out! Tubby dog is a local Calgary favorite that has been around as long as I can remember! But now has a new and way cooler location and a whole new atmosphere but the same classic and super unique hot dogs that they have been doing forever! Sooo good! My personal favorite is the A-bomb! They have also added some appetizers and bar snacks! I attended a private function for my girlfriend's birthday and the staff was above and beyond amazing! Can't wait to be back!

It's great to see Tubby up and running again. The family and I stopped by here today for a round of A-Bombs. We hadn't had a dog since before the original location was closed down, maybe 4-5 years, as we moved from Calgary to Vancouver Island. The A-Bomb size was a bit smaller than I remember but the old fashioned was the best I've had. Although I miss the old decor, this new location is very swanky and is in a great location. It very much has the soul of Tubby Dog.
